Abstract

In today’s competitive business environment, companies face the dual challenges of improving performance and retaining qualified employees. One strategy gaining recognition is the development of a coaching culture, which has been shown to positively impact both organizational performance and employee retention. This study examines the implementation of a coaching culture at PT Neural Technologies Indonesia, analyzing the strategies employed and their effects on company performance. Using a mixed-method approach, this study combines quantitative data from SEM-PLS with qualitative insights from in-depth interviews and strategy analysis through the Eckenrode method. The results indicate that a strong coaching culture, driven by leadership commitment, coaching competence, and integration into management processes, significantly enhances company performance and employee retention. Notably, the ESQ 3.0 Coaching model was effective in fostering intrinsic motivation and aligning individual goals with organizational objectives. Practical recommendations for enhancing coaching culture include prioritizing leadership commitment, offering continuous coaching competency development, and embedding coaching practices into the organizational structure. These strategies are crucial for sustaining a coaching culture that contributes to long-term performance improvement and employee engagement. This study highlights the importance of leadership in creating a supportive coaching environment and suggests that a well-implemented coaching culture is integral to achieving business success.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of rampant online begging on social media, especially the TikTok platform. This phenomenon has emerged along with advances in information technology and ease of digital access that encourage individuals to take advantage of the live streaming feature to ask for gifts or donations from viewers. This study aims to analyze the causes, impacts, and public perceptions of this phenomenon. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and data validation. The results of the study show that there are three main factors causing the rise of this phenomenon, namely advances in information technology, poverty problems, and the urge to seek sensation and popularity on social media. As a result, there has been a shift in social values in society that are more inclined towards instant ways of earning money, reduced social media ethics, and the emergence of inequality in perception in society towards this phenomenon. Public perceptions also vary, ranging from those who feel concerned, disturbed, to those who support as long as they do not harm other parties. These findings show the importance of a holistic approach through digital education, strengthening platform regulations, and attention to socio-economic factors that encourage online begging.

Abstract

Wellness tourism is an emerging sector within global tourism that emphasizes health awareness, life balance, and holistic well-being. This study explores the intersection of wellness tourism and sustainable practices through the lens of the 4Es framework—entertainment, educational, aesthetic, and escapist experiences. While the demand for transformative travel is increasing, limited research examines how these experiential dimensions contribute to both tourist satisfaction and sustainability goals. This study addresses that gap by analyzing how the 4Es framework can guide the development of wellness tourism experiences that align with environmental and cultural sustainability. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through structured interviews and observations at wellness tourism destinations. The analysis reveals that entertainment provides emotional care, education deepens knowledge of health and culture, aesthetic environments promote relaxation through eco-friendly designs, and escapist experiences offer transformative engagement with nature and heritage. These elements collectively support individual well-being while advancing sustainability principles. The findings have practical implications for wellness tourism providers and policymakers. Strategies such as adopting green certifications, applying resource-efficient practices, engaging in community-based tourism, and training empathetic staff are essential for improving service quality and promoting conservation. Moreover, digital marketing and continuous evaluation are key to meeting the evolving expectations of health-conscious travelers. This study contributes to sustainable tourism literature by showing how the 4Es framework can transform wellness tourism into a vehicle for social and environmental responsibility. It offers a roadmap for aligning wellness tourism with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring both meaningful experiences for tourists and long-term benefits for host communities.

Abstract

The rapid growth of cryptocurrency trading in Indonesia reflects the increasing integration of digital assets into the national economy. Initially classified as tradeable commodities under the supervision of the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (BAPPEBTI), cryptocurrencies have recently been repositioned within the financial sector's regulatory framework, following the enactment of Law No. 4 of 2023 on Financial Sector Development and Strengthening (UU PPSK). This study analyzes the legal and institutional implications of shifting supervisory authority to Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) and examines the regulatory challenges in ensuring legal certainty within this evolving digital asset landscape. Using a normative legal research method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, the findings reveal that Indonesia’s regulatory landscape remains fragmented and transitional. The absence of a unified and substantive legal framework, combined with institutional overlap and limited technological oversight capacity, undermines investor protection and market integrity. This paper recommends the formulation of a dedicated cryptocurrency law, the adoption of digital supervision mechanisms, and strengthened inter-agency coordination to build a coherent and future-proof legal regime. The novelty of this research lies in its critical examination of Indonesia’s regulatory transition and its proposal for a unified digital asset governance model. The study contributes to the growing body of scholarship on digital financial regulation in emerging markets and offers practical guidance for policymakers navigating the complexities of crypto-asset supervision.

Abstract

The skincare industry is currently experiencing rapid growth, in line with increasing public awareness of the importance of skincare. Every brand implements various marketing strategies to attract consumers, one of which is the Word of Mouth (WOM) strategy. This study examines the phenomenon of the increasing number of skincare products on the market and various research results on the effectiveness of WOM in building consumer loyalty, particularly within beauty communities such as EGGA in Cirebon. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the strategies implemented by Emina in its efforts to acquire, retain, and build relationships with consumers within the EGGA community. The approach used in this study is based on the theory of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), which emphasizes the importance of integrated marketing communication in building brand image and customer loyalty. The main indicators analyzed are the contribution of WOM in attracting new consumers (getting), maintaining their loyalty (keeping), and strengthening long-term relationships with customers (building). The research findings indicate that the strategies implemented by Emina in the EGGA Cirebon community are effective in increasing brand awareness, strengthening customer loyalty, and forming an active community of users who share positive experiences. Thus, it can be concluded that WOM is an effective marketing strategy for expanding market reach and increasing consumer engagement in the increasingly competitive skincare industry.

Abstract

The construction of criminal sanctions for money laundering (TPPU) in Indonesia is still a classic problem that has not been successful. The dependence on proof of the original crime in the criminal process is often the main obstacle in its enforcement. This is compounded by the weakness of legal norms related to the process of confiscating assets resulting from money laundering. Data from the 2021 PPATK National Risk Assessment (NRA) report, the estimated value of the proceeds of crime reached IDR 44,200,000,000,000 (forty-four trillion two hundred billion rupiah) and has not been confiscated by the state. The results of the PPATK analysis also stated that the length of the TPPU criminal justice process was a factor. The procedure for criminalizing money laundering only focuses on fulfilling the elements of the crime while the object of the crime has always not received attention and has not been a special consideration as the main door to arresting the perpetrators of the crime even though there are indications of improper acquisition of assets. In Australia and America, the TPPU criminal process uses a combined criminal and civil system, namely through the in rem lawsuit method in the NCB concept which can be the main door in enforcing TPPU. The use of the in rem method in enforcing TPPU does not only focus on the purpose of "asset confiscation" but also finding the perpetrators of the crime. So in this study the author reconstructs the expansion of the criminal punishment for money laundering (TPPU) which will be determined through NCB Asset Forfeiture and In Personam. Using the normative juridical method to analyze the concept of the approach to expanding the punishment of money laundering through NCB Asset Forfeiture and in personam in doctrine, theory, rules and concepts, as well as a comparative study of its application within the framework of the Theory of Justice, Theory of Asset Confiscation and Alternative Punishment Theory. So it can be concluded that the reconstruction of the expansion of TPPU criminalization through NCB asset forfeiture and In personam is an alternative TPPU criminalization that can be implemented considering that the current positive legal provisions cannot accommodate the actions of criminals who continue to enjoy the proceeds of crime, which greatly injures the sense of justice for victims and/or the state, even though we have ratified the UNCAC since 2003. For the sake of achieving justice (gerechtgkeit) and the realization of laws that provide certainty (rechtssicherheit) and benefits (zweckmassigkeit).

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in Indonesia also increases the risk of personal data theft through digital media. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of legal protection for victims of personal data theft based on the legal framework applicable in Indonesia, and compare it with data protection systems in other countries. The method used is normative juridical with conceptual and comparative approaches. The results show that legal protection for victims in Indonesia still faces serious challenges, especially related to weak law enforcement, limited supervisory institutions, and not optimal recovery mechanisms. Data leakage cases that occurred throughout 2025, such as incidents on digital financial and health service platforms, show that victims' rights have not been fully protected effectively. In comparison, regulations such as GDPR in the European Union and PDPA in Singapore show a more proactive and pro-user system. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen national policies through the enactment and implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law, increase the capacity of law enforcement, and synergize across sectors to create a safe and equitable digital ecosystem.

Abstract

Road infrastructure plays a crucial role in supporting economic growth, particularly in agrarian and resource-rich regions. This research aims to conduct a comparative analysis of rigid and flexible pavement types in terms of cost efficiency and construction duration on the Sambeng–Kedewan road segment in Bojonegoro Regency. Utilizing the MDPJ 2017 method for flexible pavement design and Pd T-14-2003 for rigid pavement, this research employs a quantitative descriptive-comparative approach to analyze structural thickness, estimated construction costs, and implementation timelines for both 20- and 40-year design life spans. Primary data were collected through field surveys, including Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests for subgrade CBR values, while secondary data were sourced from government agencies and technical literature. Traffic load analysis was performed using ESA5 (Equivalent Standard Axle 5-ton) and JSKN (Number of Commercial Vehicle Axles) parameters, and cost efficiency was evaluated through RAB (Cost Budget Plan) and life cycle cost analysis (LCCA). Findings from various case studies and technical assessments indicate that although rigid pavement involves higher initial investment, it offers greater longevity and lower maintenance expenses in the long term. This research provides crucial insights for local governments in determining the most efficient pavement type under limited budgets and strict construction timeframes. The results are expected to serve as a reference for future infrastructure planning in similar rural and agricultural regions.

Abstract

This research presents a comparative analysis of the cost and construction time between flexible and rigid pavement structures on the Siwalanpanji-Kemiri road section in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The area is undergoing a functional shift from rural to industrial, necessitating durable infrastructure to accommodate increasing heavy vehicle traffic. Using the 2024 Indonesian Pavement Design Manual (MDPJ), the research evaluates the technical and economic viability of both pavement types over 20-year and 40-year service lives. Key parameters include Average Daily Traffic (ADT) projections, Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle Load (CESAL), and subgrade strength derived from Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests. These inputs inform pavement thickness designs and cost estimates based on local unit prices (HSPK). Findings reveal that flexible pavement offers faster construction (9 days vs. 39–49 days for rigid) but incurs 38% higher long-term costs due to frequent maintenance. Rigid pavement, despite longer initial construction time, proves more economical over 40 years, with lower maintenance needs and superior durability under heavy loads. Cost analysis shows rigid pavement saves up to IDR 3.5 billion compared to flexible alternatives over four decades. The study also highlights the sustainability benefits of reusing existing materials, aligning with environmental goals. These results provide actionable insights for the Sidoarjo Public Works Agency, emphasizing rigid pavement as the optimal choice for industrializing corridors. The research underscores the importance of life-cycle cost analysis and context-specific design in infrastructure planning, offering a model for similar regions facing rapid urbanization and traffic growth.
