Abstract

This study seeks to develop research on the concept of motivation and interest in entrepreneurship by students who are expected to become young entrepreneurs to support reducing unemployment and improving the country's economy. This study aims to examine the concept of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial interest in students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The study population was 500 consisting of all students of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang class 2017. The number of samples used was 63 as respondents using the accidental sampling method for the sampling technique. The data is processed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurship motivation has an effect on student interest in entrepreneurship at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. That is, the stronger the entrepreneurial motivation, the stronger the student's entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

The background of this research was that there waas tendency about on the need of organizational experience to increase the maturity of the student's career. This research aims to know the influence of organization experience toward the career maturity (study at University of Muhammadiyah Malang). This type of research is an explanatory research which is included in the quantitative method with a questionnaire for data collection. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling technique. Data analysis used was using Path Analysis and used the SmartPLS 3.0 program. These results of this study indicate that organization experience has a significant positive effect on the career maturity.

Abstract

This study seeks to develop and examine research on the concept of internship experience and its relationship to student work readiness. This study aims to examine the concept of internship experience on job readiness for students at Universitas Negeri Malang. The research population was 275 students consisting of all management students at Universitas Negeri Malang Management class 2018. The number of samples used was 63 students as respondents using the accidental sampling for the sampling technique. The data is processed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results showed that the internship experience had an effect on the work readiness of students at the State University of Malang. That is, the longer the internship experience, the more mature the work readiness possessed by students.

Abstract

The university is considered the most appropriate place to develop entrepreneurial talent through education which is expected to be able to bring up innovative and creative entrepreneurs to create jobs in the midst of the endless unemployment problem. This research aims to know the influence of entrepreneurship course toward the student’s entrepreneurship interest. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the factors considered in entrepreneurial students at UMM. The research population is UMM students who are entrepreneurs, a sample of 100 from 10 faculties with a total of 10 students per faculty. The analysis tool used is factor analysis with 34 research variables. The results showed that of the 34 were selected variables, 22 variables were classified into 4 factors, namely the readiness to work, the independence, earning greater income and the life balancing. It means that students in entrepreneurship consider the readiness to work, the independence, earning the higher income and the life balancing. The dominant factor considered is the readiness to work.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the dimensions that can influence social entrepreneurial intentions in Generation Z students. This study re-examines the usefulness of social entrepreneurship dimensions by earlier studies, such as innovation, proactiveness, and risk-taking with diverse objects. Using a population of 1500 from 2018-2020 private students who are contained in generation Z. The sampling technique utilized is convenience sampling with a sample of 98 people. Processing of data using SmartPLS 4.0. The results of data processing indicate that in this subject innovation and risk-taking have a significant effect on the social entrepreneurial intention of generation Z. Meanwhile, there is no proactive effect on the social entrepreneurial intention of generation Z.

Abstract

In entering the world of work, it is necessary to increase self-capacity and the ability to be able to compete in the digital economy era. Internships are a form of student learning to practice their skills and knowledge in a professional environment. This research aims to explain internship program effectiveness with university graduate’s work readiness. This research kind of explanatory research using accidental sampling techniques method as the sampling technique. This research analyzed by using SmartPLS 3.0 program. The result of this research indicate that internship experience has a positive and significant influence toward student work readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors considered by students in choosing a career after graduating from college. The research population is students of the 4 largest universities in Malang, they are Brawijaya University, State University of Malang, University of Muhammadiyah Malang and State Islamic University of Malang. The sample of the study was 200 respondents with details of each university 50 respondents, respondents who filled out the complete questionnaire were 134. The analysis tool was factor analysis with 24 variables originating from the voice of respondents. From the data analysis process, 16 variables were worthy of analysis and grouped into 6 factors. The results showed that there were 6 factors for student career choice are: financial, job information, opportunity, social environment, challenge and interest, with financial being the dominant factor.

Abstract

Career research is still a topic that is not widely discussed, especially among undergraduates and alumni. Even though this still needs to be explored more deeply considering that a career is part of the responsibility of many parties in their selection. This study seeks to explore career choices by students by uniting family influence, personal interest, and economic conditions. The aim is to find out more clearly the variables that can influence the career choices of undergraduates at public and private universities. The population and samples respectively amounted to 970 and 95 respondents who could be used in the study. The use of sampling technique is using accidental sampling and the data is processed using SmartPLS 4.0. The findings were surprising in this study where family influence has an effect on career choice. On the other hand, personal interest and economic conditions have no effect on career choice.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is currently one of the indicators that affect the economy of a country. Entrepreneurship is one of the jobs that many women do today. Independence is one of the success factors for women to do business or entrepreneurship in the digital era. This study aims to determine the effect of independence on entrepreneurship in the digital era. The object of this research is 30 woman entrepreneurs in the city of Malang. This research kind of explanatory research. The data analysis used is path analysis using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that independence has a positive and significant influence on women's entrepreneurship.
