Abstract

The book is a classic book that is usually studied in Nusantara pesantren and written by KH Hasyim Asy'ari for knowledge seekers and teachers. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Qualitative descriptive method is a method that attempts to describeobjectsclearlyandclearly.Thedatasourceinthisstudyisintheform oflibrarydatasources,namelytheAdabulAlimwalMuta'allimbookreviewed basedoncontentanalysis.TheresultsofthisstudyindicatethatinAdabulAlim wal Muta'allim examines the concept of Islamic pedagogic science which contains ethics, manners, and morals in seeking knowledge. Besides that, Islamic pedagogic concepts in the book are very relevant and able to answer the challenges of education today.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out KH Wahab Chasbullah's idea of pencak silat at the Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. Using historical research methods, this study finds that the basic idea of KH Wahab Chasbullah in developing pencak silat in the pesantren environment is to preserve the nation's cultural heritage and cultivate the spirituality of the santri. Through his idea, KH Wahab Chasbullah divided pencak silat into physical and non-physical aspects. Another finding of this research is that the activities of Pencak Silat are carried out to instill love for the Indonesian nation. Pencak silat in the Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School in Jombang has three important functions, namely the function of self-defense, the function of art and the function of religion. This study complements the study of Islamic moderation, Islamic negotiations on local culture, and the contribution of Islamic boarding schools to achieving independence.

Abstract

Standard contracts in sharia insurance products must be adjusted to the fatwa of the Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). The fatwa becomes a reference for determining the condition of insurance institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the insurance contract on the Mitra Iqra Plus product at AJB Bumiputera 1912, the Surakarta Sharia Branch office against the conformity of sharia principles based on the DSN-MUI Fatwa. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach and juridical-normative analysis. The findings of interview, observation, and documentation data show that the standard contract applied in the policy is in accordance with sharia principles. Explanation of the flow and process of the contract is conveyed in a sales aid designed to maintain the principle of transparency. The policy analysis shows that there are articles related to the understanding between the parties regarding the three contracts. First, the tabarru 'contract is used to pay members' claims. Second, the mudharabah contract is used for managing investment funds. Third, the wakalah bil ujrah-muqayyadah contract is used for the power of management of the entire fund by the insurance company. The principle of taradhin (willingness) is carried out by giving a tempo to understand the policy before signing it. In conclusion, it is necessary to specifically mention the terms of the mudharabah musytarakah contract in the policy. The basis for the provisions is fatwa Number 51 / DSN-MUI / III / 2006 which regulates the management of investment funds, as a form of clarity that the investment capital that is managed comes from funds owned by the company and owned by members.

Abstract

The review of Islam and adat is a dialogue about the encounter between religion and mores. In this discussion, there is a relationship that is in line between them. This research attempts to examine the dialog between Islam and mores in the community in Kampug Urug, Bogor Regency. The approach used in this study is a qualitative research. In this study, the results indicate a strong synergy between the strength of heart in carrying out activities as well as procedures and obedience in religion. The existence of this synergy serves to unite the two of them in carrying out life. Islam is applied in life and still permanently maintains the prevailing customs, then it is transformed into the meaning of faith and tawhid. Thus, the dialog between Islam and mores of the community of Kampung Urug shows that there is a tendency that rises a new culture with local nuances. This does not mean that Islam is not preserved its purity, but is implemented in local wisdom. Even though they accept Islamic teachings as a belief, they do not eliminate their local ancestral traditions and accept modern currents.

Abstract

This research aims to elaborate the collaboration between Iqro’’ and Tsaqifa method for Qur’an learning in Hajj and Umrah Guidance group which handled by the council of hajj and umroh of the great mosque of Karanganyar in the year 2020, The research method is descriptive qualitative which effort to elaborate the process of these two learning methods. The results of this study are (1) the Iqro’’ method was effective to encourage self-motivation to recite Al-Qur’an (2) the method of tsaqifa was effective the help the learners learn the Qur’an. (3) The integrated method between Iqro’ and Tsaqifa give much beneficial for the learners. They are able to learn Qur’an easily and having much confidence and self motivation.

Abstract

Conflicts with religious backgrounds are a phenomenon that often occurs unexpectedly around us. These events can inspire authors to write into the literary works that they produce. Social conditions cannot be separated from the process of the birth of a literary work. This paper aims to describe the social structure that influences the author in writing a literary work, as well as how the author tries to build a narrative to influence the social structure through his work. The formulation of the research problem is related to whether the social structure affects the agent (author) and how the agent (author) represents what is in Maryam's novel. The theory used in this research is the structuration concept proposed by Anthony Giddens. The results showed that the social structure, especially about the Ahmadiyah conflict on the island of Lombok, influenced Okky Madasari as an author (agent) in producing the novel Maryam. There are also ideas developed by Okky Madasari which aim to influence the social structure through his work. This is where the duality process between social structures and agents influences one another.
