Abstract

Bronchitis is an airway disease that is often found in the community and is a health problem because of its chronic, persistent, and progressive nature (Soegito, 2020). Bronchitis cases in 2022 increased very rapidly from no previous cases to 136 cases. (Rupit Hospital, 2022). The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of bronchitis at the Rupit Regional General Hospital, North Musi Rawas Regency. This study is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. The research sample was 69 respondents. Data analysis was performed with the chi-square test with a significance level of 95% using SPSS 16 software. The results of univariate analysis showed, 20 (29.0%) respondents smoked ≥20 btg/per day, 16 (23.2%) respondents had risky jobs and had respondents who had a family history of 21 people (30.4%). The results of bivariate analysis showed there was a significant relationship between smoking habits Value p = 0.000. Occupation Value p = 0.038 and Family History Value p = 0.033 with the incidence of Bronchitis < α - 0.05 at the Rupit Regional General Hospital, North Musi Rawas Regency in 2023. It is hoped that the Rupit Regional General Hospital of Musi Rawas Regency will always improve services in order to achieve patient satisfaction. Hospitals have an obligation to ensure that patients are satisfied with the health services that have been provided and ensure that all health workers have provided what patients are entitled to.

Abstract

WHO says that 1,769,425 people (90%) of women experience dysmenorrhoea, 10-15% of whom experience severe dysmenorrhoea. Indonesia the incidence of dysmenorrhoea consists of 72.89% primary dysmenorrhoea and among women of productive age consists of 54.89% primary dysmenorrhoea. Data from Puskesmas Bintuhan Kaur Regency shows that primary dysmenorrhoea cases increase every year. The results of the initial survey at SMP PKLK Kaur Regency were conducted on 10 students, obtained 70% of students experiencing primary dysmenorrhoea. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the menstrual cycle and nutritional status with the incidence of primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescent girls at SMP PKLK Kaur Regency. This research is a quantitative research using cross sectional study design. The number of samples in the study were 64 respondents. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents experienced primary dysmenorrhoea by 53.1%, almost half of the respondents experienced an abnormal menstrual cycle by 43.8%, almost half of the respondents experienced abnormal nutritional status by 37.5%. There is a significant relationship between the menstrual cycle and the incidence of primary dysmenorrhoea (p=0.020) and there is no significant relationship between the menstrual cycle and the incidence of primary dysmenorrhoea (P=0.093) in adolescent girls at SMP PKLK Kaur Regency. It is hoped that further research can look at other risk factors using multivariate analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the causal relationship between air pollution and the incidence of respiratory tract diseases in residents of Bogor City, West Java, Indonesia. Bogor City is a densely populated city with significant levels of air pollution due to industrial activities, transportation, and people's lifestyles. This study uses the causality analysis method to identify the relationship between air pollution and respiratory diseases. Data on air pollutant concentrations (particulate matter PM2.5, SO2, NO2) and the number of respiratory tract disease cases were taken from available sources, such as the Bogor City Environment Agency and local public health centers. The results showed a significant causal relationship between air pollution and the incidence of respiratory diseases. Particulate concentrations of PM2.5, SO2, and NO2 have a detrimental impact on the health of residents. The study also highlighted the different effects of air pollution on different population groups, such as children, the elderly, and individuals with compromised health. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the health risks faced by Bogor City residents due to air pollution. In order to improve air quality and reduce its adverse health impacts, this study suggests the need for effective policy measures. Such measures include improved control of industrial and vehicular emissions, increased public awareness of the impacts of air pollution, and improved access to health services related to respiratory diseases. This study confirms the existence of a causal relationship between air pollution and the incidence of respiratory diseases in Bogor City residents. The findings provide a strong basis for taking more effective preventive and intervention measures to address air pollution and public health issues in urban areas.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders are occupational diseases that are often suffered by workers. Symptoms can include pain, swelling and even numbness. Cardiopulmonary endurance also plays an important role in the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders. The heavier a job, the more oxygen the body needs to oxidize and the more blood flow carries oxygen. In people with heavy workloads, the heart's pumping activity changes, so that when the person works, oxygen transport to the muscles is disrupted. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and musculoskeletal complaints in workers at PT. Kerta Rajasa Raya Sidoarjo. Design: The research design used a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples obtained was 43 respondents in 2 work divisions, namely the extruder division and ABM. Respondents' workload was measured based on cardiovascular load (CVL) and musculoskeletal complaints were measured using the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Results: The results of the Pearson correlation test, obtained a p value = 0.002 where p <0.05. From the results of the statistical test, it was stated that there is a positive relationship between workload and musculoskeletal complaints. Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that companies reduce the workload so that it can reduce the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract

Anemia is still a health problem throughout the world, including Indonesia. Anemia in adolescents has a serious impact and is entirely a consequence of iron deficiency which is closely related to the severity of anemia. In addition, anemia in adolescent girls can increase the risk of developing anemia during pregnancy. This will have a negative impact on growth and the fetus in the womb, along with the development to experience a number of complications during pregnancy and during delivery. Anemia can be treated with various strategies, one of which is through nutrition education. This literature review study aims to provide an overview of various methods, media, roles and effectiveness of nutrition education in the context of preventing anemia in adolescents in Indonesia. The method used in this paper is a literature review study by searching Indonesian language articles through the Google Scholar database and Garuda Portal in the period 2018-2021. The keywords used are "nutrition education", "anemia", "teenagers". From the results of the search and study, 8 articles were obtained through Google Scholar and 2 articles through the Garuda Portal which were used for this research.
