Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) was initiated by the Center for Health Administration and Policy Studies (CHAMPS) Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia (FKM UI) and is currently managed by the Department of Health Administration and Policy, Faculty of Public Health, University Indonesia . Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) was published with the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) and the FKM UI Hospital Management Association (IKAMARS). Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on service administration and management in hospitals in Indonesia. The articles or scientific manuscripts published in the Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) include original research, case studies, and reviews supporting corporate governance, clinical governance, or both (bridging). This journal is published electronically, featuring articles in either Bahasa or English. Printed versions are produced only by request. Abstract

Establishing patient safety culture is the first step in patient safety improvement.Therefore we need an assessment of patient safety culture in hospitals. Patient safety culture is part of the organizational culture, so that the study of organizational culture needed to be a guidance in developing patient safety. The aims of this study is to determine the patient safety culture among clinical staff in RSIA Budi Kemuliaan and identify organizational culture profiles. This study is descriptive with qualitative interpretation and analysis. It was found that teamwork within the unit is the strongest dimension of patient safety culture. While staffing and non-punitive response is the weakest dimension. Clan culture is the type of the current organizational culture which is dominant and considered as a stong culture. This type is also the preferred culture that are serve as a guide to make changes in the organization, especially in the development of patient safety. Plan of action was made by Consensus Decision Making Group and achieved the agreement to articulating patient safety in the vision and mission of the organization and strengthening safety culture through patient safety training for all staf.

Abstract

Lean hospital is lean methods used in hospitals, is a continuous effort made to eliminate waste and increase value added in patient care in hospitals. This method is very appropriate to analyze the process flow of inpatient admission in "X" hospital by making Current State Value Stream Map derived from observation, interviews and review of documents. Then through the application of Lean Tools, Future State Value Stream Map was made as the idea of improvement for short and medium/long term in the process. The results showed there were 31 total events with value added time process is just 44,9% at this point. Meanwhile in the new or ideal process flow, the amount of activities became 25 with value added time process 92,4% for short term improvement. The number activities on the medium/long term improvement reduced to 23 with the percentage of value added time process increased to 94,4%. So based on these results, the Lean method is appropriate to address the problems that occur in the workflow process inpatient admission in "X" hospital.

Abstract

This research discussed on the This thesis aims to determine the factors that associated compliance patien lung Tuberculosis to swallowing drug at Rumah Sehat Terpadu Dompet Dhuafa Hospital 2015This research used mix methods approach with cross sectional design. This research found that there is still non compliances patient lung tuberculosis to swallowing medicine. The compliance is related on behavior (Predisposisi, Enabling, dan Reinforcing) and non behavior factor. To increase the compliance this research suggest to hospital support fot TB DOTS program, intens of counseling, support the PMO, availability of drug, and frequent recording dan reporting.

Abstract

The National Health Insurance which was launched on January 1, 2014, is a form of transformation and reformation of health services in Indonesia. In implementation of the JKN, Hospital Pharmacy Installation is forced to improve its quality service sustainably in order to achieve cost effective and efficient service. Lean is a management system that fully focuses on effiency with the objectives to reduce stock, service cycle time and cost. Research was conducted on outpatient pharmacy installation service at Anna Medika Bekasi Hospital in April to May 2016. It focuses on prescription process flow of non-pulvis medicine using action research method with qualitative and quantitative approach. Lean concepts has been applied in this research. The result shows that the cycle time required for processing prescription of non-pulvis medicine is longer than the takt time. It indicates that outpatient pharmacy installation service is unable to fullfil the patient demand, there is lack of human resources on day shift, additional resources are required to support the service and process flow of non-pulvis medicine needs to be redesigned. This new design could result to increment 22.73% of value added activities from 35,89% to 58,62% To ensure the new process flow runs consistently and sustainably, some improvements, which are divided into short, medium and long term, are suggested.

Abstract

Patient safety has become a very important issue in health care. Everyone wants to get health care that is safe and free from unwanted injuries. Through this study, analyzed the quality and quantity of nurse perceptions of patient safety incidents in the hospital X. The study was conducted on 44 nurses and midwives using cross sectional design to examine the relationship between the variables of knowledge, education, ease of use tools, work experience, discipline and the number of nurses on patient safety incidents.

Abstract

The background of this study is the high bill outpatient drug costs when compared with the costs borne by BPJS by embracing INA CBG's tariff system. So, we need a more in-depth analysis of the factors that affect the amount of health care costs. This study uses a cross-sectional study with quantitative methods, by looking at factors of age, sex, prescription drugs, doctor and health insurance status in accordance with the secondary data obtained through medical records and bills medicine outpatient services. And based on the results of the study, factors that affect the cost of the drug is age, the guarantor, the number of drug items (R /) and the use of generic drugs. So as to address these issues need for clinical previllage for outpatient cases and policies that govern rational prescribing.

Abstract

Department of Radiology Dr. Mohammad Hoesin hospital in Palembang 2014, many patients perform chest x ray examination, whom were patients radiographic outpatient. The waiting time radiographic services in RSMH not in accordance with the Standard Minimum Service Hospital less than 3 hours. This study aims to determine the factors associated with waiting time chest X-ray. This research was conducted by measuring the waiting time to 68 selected respondents The result showed radiographic waiting time 184.44 minutes. Based on statistical test found the waiting time in the reading room is the photo that most affect the length of waiting time radiographic.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the factors associated with the effectiveness of nurse and patient communication atinpatient unit in Harapan Mulia Hospitallocated in Bekasi Regency.It is a quantitative study with cross-sectional design.Samples are the total population amounted to 30 nurses with 60 patients as respondentsconducted in March - May 2015. The results showed that 53.3% of patients perceived that nurses’s communication was effective, further analysis with logistic regression showed no significant relationship between the characters nurses, physical and mental fatigue, language, leadership and management support for hospitals, facilities and reward with the nurses and patients communication effectiveness.

Abstract

Decomposition Analysis System is operating a system that includes identification efforts objectives, activities, implementation of activities, the situation faced and information needed at each stage of system implementation. This study uses a blend of Systems Theory approach Donabedian-Azwar, the principal stages of Structural or Input Process-Output or Outcome to look at heart disease care system in hospitals Dr.Kanujoso Djatiwibowo Balikpapan 2014. The study was conducted from April to November 2015, using a design qualitative descriptive analytic method. Analysis was performed with the data derived from the study of medical documents cardiac patients in hospitals Dr Kanujoso Djatiwibowo Balikpapan in 2014, observation and depth interview with selected informants. The results showed a factor of structure or Inputs that influence mortality in cardiovascular disease care system in the Hospital Dr Kanujoso Djatiwibowo Balikpapan is Patient factors, human resources, facilities, and methods. Factors such as the process of service delivery, the doctor- nurse coordination and integration of services. It is recommended that the hospitals Dr Kanujosos Djatiwibowo Balikpapan perform additional doctors Heart Specialist, create one- stop service for cardiovasculardisease or Cardiac Center and increase cooperation orcoordination between the hospitals Dr Kanujosos Djatiwibowo with Primary Health Care Facility, City Health Department Balikpapan and house parties other hospitals in the city of Balikpapan.

Abstract

Adverse even (AE) in RSKBP ranged from 0.31% to 3.01% with a mortality rate of 2.22%.AE in RSKBP still considered under-reporting because most AE not reported. Building a culture of patient safety is an important element to improve patient safety and quality. This research aims to know the culture of patient safety and the factors related to the patient safety culture in RSKBP 2015. The study was conducted in March to April 2015, with a sample of 115 respondents it is Sequential explanatory research design. The data analysis with regression logistic.Patient safety culture in RSKBP still lacking. Factors related to the patient safety culture in RSKBP feedback is incident report (p = 0.021 α = 0.05, OR = 15.516) culture is not to blame (p = 0.019 α = 0.05, OR = 14.396) and a learning culture (p = 0.006 α = 0.05, OR = 0.096) .RSKBP sugest to improve patient safety culture with a comprehensive and structured efforts.
