Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) was initiated by the Center for Health Administration and Policy Studies (CHAMPS) Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia (FKM UI) and is currently managed by the Department of Health Administration and Policy, Faculty of Public Health, University Indonesia . Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) was published with the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) and the FKM UI Hospital Management Association (IKAMARS). Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on service administration and management in hospitals in Indonesia. The articles or scientific manuscripts published in the Jurnal ARSI (Administrasi Rumah Sakit Indonesia) include original research, case studies, and reviews supporting corporate governance, clinical governance, or both (bridging). This journal is published electronically, featuring articles in either Bahasa or English. Printed versions are produced only by request. This journal also provides direct open access to its content with the principle that research publications are freely available to the public for broad benefit.

Abstract

This is a descriptive analytical study with quantitative and qualitative design aim to descripe and analysis factors related to move out of nurses at the X hospital Balikpapan. The study collected using questionnaire to 199 nurses, followed by in-depth interviews to 5 senior management, 1 chief ward and 1 secretary of nursing committe of hospital. Career development, compensation, and communication are the mean factors related to the intention to move out, communication is the most factor influencing the intention to move out. Qualitative methode validated the important communication between the management and the nurses which is not in a good condition. The management should formed a special meeting for nurses to collect the aspiration nurses in order to increase the sense of involvement which decrease the desire to move out.

Abstract

The purpose of this studyis to develop an instrument that appropriate to measured Obstetrician and Gynecologist performance in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital through Performance Analysis. Descriptive study with qualitative method aims to constructed a Performance Appraisal’s Instrument. A convenience Informan of Obstetrician and Gynecologists and stakeholders in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital participated in this study. This study successfully developed a valid method to constructed a Performance Appraisal’s Instrument in Budi Kemuliaan Hospital by using Nominal Group Technique Method. A performance appraisal’s instrument contains 8 (eight) specific measurable criteria for Obstetrician and Gynecologists using the JCAHO’s six competencies to evaluated Medical Doctors performance that suitable for Budi Kemuliaan Hospital, with standards each specific measurable criteria and scoring categories.

Abstract

Based on the principle of "the polluter pays", every health care need to be financially responsible for the management of their waste safely. Such costs should be funded by a special allocation of hospital budgets. Total expenses generally consist of an initial capital investment, depreciation of equipment and buildings, the cost of operation of these elements such as personnel and consumables, vehicle operating costs, third-party management fees, license fees, and other expenses that everything must be carefully fastidiously if it will choose the lowest cost option.This study discusses The comparative cost analyse of solid medical waste management in the "Dharmais" Cancer Hospital between self-managed system with outsourcing system. This research is a quantitative and descriptive study was done by observation, document review, and the calculation of the cost of using Activity Based Costing (ABC). The survey results revealed that the flow of medical waste management process has been running good and solid medical waste management outsourcing system is cheaper than self-managed. To reduce solid medical waste, they can do waste minimization efforts.

Abstract

This research discussed on the completeness of medical resume (primary diagnostic, secondary diagnostic and major procedure) in consistency with INA-CBGs costing at Teratai Inpatient Instalation Central General Hospital (RSUP). This research used mix methods approach with cross sectional design. This research found that there is still incompleteness in filling medical records especially for primary diagnostic, secondary diagnostic and major procedure that potentially may cause inconsistency with INA-CBSs costing. The incompleteness were caused by many factors, and this research suggest to conduct evaluation and socialization of the Standard Procedure Operational (SPO), the implementation of reward and punishment system, monitoring and evaluation on medical record forms, addition of book or list of diagnostic code, upgrading of INA-CBGs software.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the relationship between demographic factors, personal factors and organizational factors toward burnout of nurses in the inpatient unit RSJ West Kalimantan Province. It is a quantitative study with cross-sectional approach using MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory) instrument. Samples are the total population amounted to 122 nurses. The results showed that 82.8% are nurses with low category of burnout while 17.2% in middle category of burnout. The most dominant variables related to burnout is the workload of nurses.

Abstract

The high rate of nurse turnover > 10% at Prikasih hospital causes a variety of problems, increased operating cost, disruption operations and raising moral issues in nurse who stay, This research is a quantitative analytical research aiming to describe the types of organizational culture (clan, adhocracy, market, hierarchy) and organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuance). The research also aims to illustrate the relations between the different types of organizational culture and organizational commitment, and the association with turnover intention at Prikasih hospital as well as to identify the most dominant factor of relations. The research uses cross-sectional method with 102 nurses as respondents, using questionnaires. The result correlation and regresion analysis shows that there is correlation between organizational culture (clan, market, hierarchy), organizational commitment (affective, normative, continuance) with turnover intention. Affective commitment exhibits as the most dominant variable in relation to turnover intention.

Abstract

Outpatient services is one of unit working in hospitals that serve patients with outpatient including all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The waiting time is one important thing that will determine the initial image of hospital services. One of the tools for identifying customer needs hospital is the Total Quality Service (TQS). Patient satisfaction is a major factor and a measure of the success of the hospital which is given to customers who impact the number of visits increased and patients are satisfied tend to be returned. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design (cross-sectional) with correlation analysis to analyze the relationship the dependent variable and independent variables. The study was conducted by calculating the waiting time and time clinic doctor examination, then conducted a TQS questionnaire survey on 135 respondents. The study states that the waiting time and the doctor’s examination time did not affect patient satisfaction. The quality of personnel, administrative services, medical care experiences, and social responsibility has a significant relationship with patient satisfaction. And the social responsibility factor is the most dominant variable and the effect on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the difference between the cost recovery rate (CRR) hospital rates and INA CBG's rates in case of CAD with PCI at Hospital Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. The results showed the cost of treatment based on clinical pathways are at the severity level I value of CRR Hospital rates above the CRR CBGs INA rates, whereas the severity level II of CRR Hospital rate more lower than CRR INA CBGs rates for the utility stent is less than 2. At severity level III CRR INA CBGs with utilization rates of stent 1 and 2 higher than the CRR INA CBGs rate. This is due to CBGs INA rate do not take into account the magnitude of the stent in every act of PCI performed in patients with CAD. Based on the research necessary to evaluate the methode of calculating INA CBGs rates from hospital base rate methode to Cost of treatment based on clinical pathway in order to create a balance so that the operational cost of service rates hospitals can be met and still be able to provide good quality services.

Abstract

This study aims to create a good marketing strategy to determine the problems faced so it is expected that in the end the number of visits to the aesthetic surgery surgery BROS Denpasar has increased. This research uses qualitative method with observation, and in-depth interview. From the product-price mix, there are several strategies, namely by providing variations of products or additional services, buying aesthetic surgical instruments with the latest technology, and can also lower the rates of aesthetic surgery services. For the price place mix, the strategy is to move the esthetic surgical poly to a more private room. The strategy for people promotion mix, by increasing cooperation with other medical tourism agents, altering the contents of the BROS website so as to highlight aesthetic surgery services, and more actively for the promotion of aesthetic surgery services in social media. The strategy of the people-physical evolution mix, which is to provide short courses of foreign languages for doctors and nurses, to find a permanent plastic surgeon, and to place a permanent nurse for plastic surgery. Process-promotion strategy, ie by reducing intermediaries or cutting the flow of aesthetic surgical service process in cooperation with foreign agents (ABA).
