Abstract

The aim of this research are: 1) to find some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that the most dominant influence on entrepreneurial success of USSgraduates and 2) to give recomendation as strongestcharacteristics of entrepreneurs USS graduates. This research approach use quantitative methods with quasi-experimental especially correlational research. The samples research consisted of USS graduates has become successful entrepreneur. The research sample were 70 graduates of the total population taken by purposive sampling technique. The Design questionnaire used to collecting data, and data analysis technique was Factor Analysis that include: 1) Correlation Indicator: Kaiser-Meyer Olkin (KMO),2) Extraction Factor: Principal Components Analysis, and 3) Factor Rotation: Varimax Method. The results of this study are as follows: 1) some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that influence on entrepreneurial success of USS graduates, namely: (1)have a clear vision and goals, (2) self-confidence, (3) optimism, (4) independent, (5) creative and innovative, (6) ambitious and energetic, (7) responsible, (8) originality, (9)future-oriented, (10) task-oriented and results, (11) has the soul of a leader, (12) dare to take risks, (13) honest, (14) jaunty and communicate, and (15) good at taking advantage of opportunities, 2) some factors of the characteristics of entrepreneurs that the most dominant influence on entrepreneurial success of USS graduates are: (1) have a clear vision, Mision and goals, (2) self-confidence and (3) has the soul of a leader.

Abstract

This research trytoanalyzethe factors thatinfluence the occurrence ofunderpricingin companies thatgopublic. This study uses a more variable varies the financial and non-financial variables contained in the prospectus which is composed of the reputation of the underwriter, auditor reputation, firm size, financial leverage, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). According to the results of previous studies, these variables generally tend to show a significant effect on underpricing in companies that go public. This research is ekspost facto (causal comparative). Sample selection method used was purposive sampling and sample used was 132 sample companies doing an Initial Public Offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2002-2012. This study uses regression testing models. Regression analysis showed that nlytheunderwriterreputationsignificantly influenceunderpricing

Abstract

The tourism sector has contributed 11 percent of the gross domestic product absorbing world with about 200 million workers. Or have an indirect impact of 800 million people.In 2012, the direct and indirect contribution to Indonesia's gross domestic product by 12 percent. Tourism potential is huge but much hampered infrastructure, security,promotion, and government policy. In addition to having a positive impact on the Indonesian economy. Tourism also has a negative impact on the economic and socialaspects, although still much more positive impact than negative impact.

Abstract

This studyaimed toanalyze theeffect ofSize, Total Equity to Total Assets, Total Loans to Total Assets, Total Deposits to Total Assets on ROA(Return on Assets) onBankSyariahIn Indonesia. Purposive sampling method used in this research study. There were two syariah banks in this research. The research samples werein the form ofsecondary data. The data was listedinthe Indonesia Stock Exchangeduring period2009-2013. The statistical method usedtotest the hypothesisin this study was multiple regression. The results of the data analysis obtained in this study were: 1) Size has a positive but not significant effect to the profitability of Syaria banks 2) Total Equity To Total Assets(TE / TA) has a positive but not significant effect on profitability. 3) Total Loans to Total Assets (TL / TA) has a negative but not significant effect on profitability. 4) Total Deposits To Total Assets (TD / TA) has a positive but not significant effect on profitability

Abstract

In global business, each company requires to provide cheap products, good quality and services, and appropriate customer orders. Supply chain management should beadopted by the company in order to survive and win the market competition. This study aims to investigate the implementation of supply chain management in a fresh flower business, to observe the benefit of adopting the supply chain management which is assessed from goods suppliers, and to evaluate the distribution implementation to the customer. Supply chain management approach is conducted by involving all the interactions among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers. The chaincovers not only transportation, scheduling information, cash and credit transfer, but also the transfer of ideas, designs, and materials. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In conclusion, it is shown that the supply chain management approach potentially improves the competitiveness of the fresh flower business.

Abstract

Many ways to assess the performance of a company, in this case the shoe company needs to create value advantages for consumers, some of the factors that support for the achievement of the efficiency value, mimimasi costs, business competence, the demands of a dynamic market. to get a gap value of each company's performance on a benchmarking approach is needed. Benchmarking is a continuous process of measuring products, services and practices against the toughest competitors a recognized risk management. The purpose of this paper are : (1). Finding an effort to catch up with PT. Y should improve performance for changes and improvements, based on the destination map balance (parity goal) with the assumption that it takes three years to equalize with PT Y with the aim of: (a) the first six months of the formation of the team for the analysis of constraints, (b) testing the application of the second six-month evaluation, and (c) the periodic application; (2). Designing a proposal to replace the conventional purchase procedures; (3). Training for increased performance human resources; and (4). Evaluate the improvement of all activities with the benchmarking approach. The end result is to get the value of the performance of competitors, comparing the position of some elements between the two companies is based on: (a) technical quality, (b) speed of the material arrival time, (c) value reliability, and (d) evaluation of suppliers.

Abstract

Risiko kredit atau risiko pembiayaan merupakan risiko yang paling signifikan dari semua risiko yang menyebabkan kerugian potensial lembaga keuangan mikro sepertiBMT Beringharjo dan BPRS Madina. Maka penerapan manajemen risiko pembiayaan yang baik untuk memitigasi terhadap risiko pembiayaan sangat penting.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan penerapan manajemen risiko pembiayaan di BMT Beringharjo dan di BPRS Madina, serta untuk memberikanmasukan kepada manajemen BMT Beringharjo, BPRS Madina dan lembaga keuangan lainnya serta pihak terkait untuk perbaikan kebijakan manajemen risiko pembiayaan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa perbedaan regulasi dan pengawasan di kedua lembaga keuangan mikro syariah ini berdampak pada penerapan manajemen risiko. Regulasi manajemen risiko pembiayaan pada BPRS Madina telah diatur dan dilakukan pengawasan secara detail oleh Bank Indonesia, sementara regulasi yang mengatur penerapan manajemen risiko di BMT belum diatur secara detail, pelaksanaan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kementerian koperasi dan UKM pun masih sangat lemah, sehingga BMT Beringharjo dalam penerapan manajemen risiko pembiayaan lebih kepada membuat regulasi sendiri (self regulation) untuk dijalankan dan dikontrol sendiri (self control)

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya persaingan yang semakin ketat antara perguruan tinggi swata yang ada di Surakarta. Sehingga, Perguruan Tinggi Swasta harus melakukan strategi yang khusus untuk dapat bersaing dengan Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi konsumen, persepsi kualitas, sikap konsumen dan pengetahuan konsumen terhadap keputusan memilih perguruan tinggi swasta di Universitas Sahid Surakarta. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil uji regresi linier berganda menunjukan bahwa motivasi konsumen sebesar (0,117), sikap konsumen sebesar (0,406), persepsi kualitas sebesar (0,545), dan pengetahuan konsumen sebesar (0,298), dari keempat variabel independen tersebut, yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ditunjukkan bahwa sikap konsumen memiliki pengaruh yang paling dominan terhadap keputusan memilih.
