Abstract

This study examines the missiological issue of the responsibilities of elders and deacons in the GMIM Efrata Pinamorongan congregation in the Tareran Tiga area, where some ministers have not carried out their responsibilities optimally, which has an impact on the growth of the congregation's faith. The purpose of this study is to examine the responsibilities of elders and deacons from a missiological perspective in an effort to increase the religiosity of the congregation, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used is qualitative research, involving interviews and observations. The results of this study are expected to build understanding and sensitivity to the responsibilities of ministers, which are very important for increasing the religiosity of the congregation. This study also emphasizes the need for continuous training and development for elders and deacons so that they are able to carry out their ministry duties with full dedication and responsibility. It was found that strong spiritual leadership, effective communication, and active involvement in the life of the congregation greatly affect the quality of fellowship. Therefore, synergy between ministers and congregation members is key in building a living and growing church
