Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the Indonesian Chinese Muslim Association (PITI) of West Nusa Tenggara in social interactions and trading activities within the community of Mataram City. A qualitative approach was employed using observation and in-depth interviews with PITI members and local residents. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify communication patterns, cultural acculturation processes, and factors influencing social interaction. The findings reveal that PITI members actively contribute to fostering harmonious social relations through economic activities and intercultural communication. These interactions encourage acculturation and assimilation processes between Chinese Muslim communities and other ethnic and religious groups. Linguistic diversity, mutual respect, and effective communication skills were found to be key factors in strengthening social cohesion and shaping an inclusive cultural identity in Mataram City. The study highlights the role of intercultural communication in promoting social integration and sustainable community development in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped educational management through the adoption of learning management systems, educational analytics, and artificial intelligence in decision-making processes. This article examines the relationship between philosophy of science, particularly epistemology, and digital transformation in educational management. Using a conceptual review approach, the study explores positivist, interpretivist, and critical pragmatist perspectives based on the works of Kuhn, Lakatos, and Quine. The findings reveal that digital transformation represents not merely a technical change but also an epistemological shift in how knowledge is constructed, validated, and applied. Excessive reliance on data may lead to reductionism when contextual understanding and ethical considerations are overlooked. Therefore, a multi-epistemological approach and stronger epistemic awareness are essential for developing inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable educational management in the digital era.

Abstract

Solihin Mosque in Kayuagung is a vital civilization symbol and a historical witness to the local struggle against colonialism along the OKI River. Despite its significance, academic research on its physical and socio-educational transformations remains scarce compared to mosques in central Palembang. This study aims to elucidate the mosque’s architectural evolution and analyze its role in strengthening contemporary social and religious education. Using a descriptive-qualitative method and a historical approach, the research reveals that the mosque has transitioned from a traditional unglen (ironwood) structure to a modern domed building. Functionally, it remains a community hub through professional management, including the Al-Qur'an Education Center (TPA), the Mosque Youth Association (IRMA), and local economic stimulation through religious tourism near ulamas' graves in Sidakersa. These findings demonstrate that modernization need not erase historical identity if supported by flexible management. This research offers strategic insights into preserving local historical narratives to maintain social cohesion and intergenerational understanding of Islamic heritage in the Ogan Komering Ilir region.
