This research serves to determine and examine how Wadiah Current Account Deposits, Wadiah Savings Deposits, and Wadiah Bonuses impact Net Income (NI). In addition, this study also looks at how firm size serves as a moderating variable in the relationship between the independent variables (Wadiah Current Account Deposits, Wadiah Savings Deposits, and Wadiah Bonus) and the dependent variable (Net Rewards). This study uses a quantitative approach by using secondary data from the annual reports of the banks under study. The number of five sample companies registered with OJK from 2018 to 2023 is a purposive sample. This study evaluates the relationship between independent and dependent variables through the use of panel data regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The purpose of this study is to assess whether Wadiah Current Accounts, Wadiah Savings, and Wadiah Bonus affect Net Return (NI), and whether Company Size moderates the relationship between these independent variables.

Abstract

Capital market literacy is very important, because it makes it easier for students to make investment decisions. Risk perception is also a student factor in determining investment decisions, because the lower the risk, the higher it is in determining investment decisions and vice versa. The observation aims to determine the influence of capital market literacy and risk perception on students' investment decisions. This type of research is a quantitative approach. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population and sample used were all members and administrators of the Mataram State Islamic University Capital Markets Study Group for 2022-2023, a total of 125 people using a saturated sampling technique. The research results show that capital market literacy influences investment decisions with the results of the hypothesis test (t test) (2,657 > 1,979) with a significance value (0.009 < 0.05). Risk perception influences investment decisions with the t test results (5,238 > 1,979) with a significance value (0.000 < 0.05). Meanwhile, capital market literacy and risk perception influence investment decisions simultaneously with the R2 test result (coefficient of determination) obtained at 0.263. This shows that investment decisions are influenced by Capital Market Literacy.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of operational costs on bank profitability in Indonesia, focusing on the moderating roles of green banking practices and bank type (Islamic versus conventional). Using panel data from five Islamic and five conventional banks for 2022–2023, the analysis employs Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests to determine the most appropriate model, with the Random Effect Model selected for hypothesis testing. The results show that operational costs significantly negatively affect bank profitability, as measured by Return on Assets (ROA), confirming that higher operational costs reduce profitability. While statistically insignificant, the moderating effect of green banking indicates a positive direction, suggesting that adopting green banking can potentially mitigate the negative impact of operational costs on profitability. Furthermore, the interaction between operational costs and bank type reveals that Islamic banks are less sensitive to operational cost increases than conventional banks. However, this moderating effect is also statistically insignificant. These findings highlight the importance of efficient cost management and the strategic adoption of green banking, especially in Islamic banks, to enhance profitability. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the interplay between operational efficiency, sustainability practices, and bank type in the Indonesian banking sector.

This study uses a quantitative method, with a research population of 7000 and a sample of 100 respondents. In this study, statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS. The data analysis techniques used were validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of the level of public trust on mudharabah financing with a value of the T-test of the trust level variable of 5.702 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Variable X1 has a t-test of 5.702 with t-table = 1.985.
