Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of humanistic theory in the course Learning Theory and Instruction of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as a medium for internalizing the values of religious moderation, particularly tasamuh (tolerance) and ta’adul (justice), within STAI Ma’had Aly Al-Hikam Malang. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of teaching materials, and were then analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that PAI learning based on humanistic theory creates a safe, reflective, and diversity-respecting learning environment. The lecturer’s strategies (including classroom humanization, reflective discussions, differentiated assignments, inclusive group work, and role modeling) proved effective in fostering tolerant and fair attitudes among students. The values of tasamuh and ta’adul were not only transmitted cognitively but also internalized through social interactions, learning experiences, and student-centered approaches. This study emphasizes that a humanistic approach to religious education not only enhances the effectiveness of the learning process but also shapes students’ religious character to be moderate, open-minded, and contextual. The results contribute to the development of curriculum and PAI learning practices in Islamic higher education, making them more responsive to the challenges of diversity and the strengthening of national values. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi implementasi teori humanistik dalam mata kuliah teori belajar dan pembelajaran PAI sebagai sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, khususnya tasamuh (toleransi) dan ta’adul (keadilan), di lingkungan STAI Ma’had Aly Al-Hikam Malang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi perangkat ajar, lalu dianalisis secara tematik dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI yang berlandaskan teori humanistik menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, reflektif, dan menghargai keberagaman. Strategi dosen yang mencakup humanisasi kelas, diskusi reflektif, diferensiasi tugas, kerja kelompok inklusif, dan keteladanan, terbukti mampu menumbuhkan sikap toleran dan adil dalam diri mahasiswa. Nilai-nilai tasamuh dan ta’adul tidak hanya ditransmisikan secara kognitif, tetapi diinternalisasi melalui interaksi sosial, pengalaman belajar, dan pendekatan yang memanusiakan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran agama tidak hanya memperkuat efektivitas proses belajar, tetapi juga membentuk karakter keberagamaan mahasiswa yang moderat, terbuka, dan kontekstual. Hasil ini memberi kontribusi bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan praktik pembelajaran PAI di perguruan tinggi Islam agar lebih responsif terhadap tantangan keberagaman dan penguatan nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Abstract

Islamic Digital Literacy (IDL) is an integrative effort that combines digital competencies with Islamic values such as truth, honesty, noble character, and religious moderation. IDL emerges as a response to the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 era, where the rapid flow of information, hoaxes, hate speech, and radical propaganda pose serious threats to young generations, particularly students. The phenomenon of radicalism among students reflects their vulnerability to extremist ideologies that exploit social media for recruitment and dissemination of intolerant narratives. In this context, IDL serves a strategic role as an ideological filter, a means to strengthen critical awareness, and a digital da’wah medium promoting moderation. The roles of schools/madrasahs, teachers, parents, and communities are crucial in internalizing IDL through curriculum integration, contextual learning, parental supervision, and supportive social ecosystems. However, IDL implementation still faces challenges, including curriculum limitations, insufficient teacher capacity, and the dominance of social media algorithms amplifying manipulative content. Therefore, IDL must be developed collaboratively, systematically, and contextually to function effectively as a preventive strategy against radicalism while fostering a moderate and civilized digital culture. Literasi Digital Islam (LDI) merupakan upaya terpadu yang menggabungkan kompetensi digital dengan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti kebenaran, kejujuran, akhlak mulia, dan moderasi agama. LDI muncul sebagai respons terhadap tantangan era Industry 4.0 dan Society 5.0, di mana arus informasi yang cepat, hoaks, ujaran kebencian, dan propaganda radikal menjadi ancaman serius bagi generasi muda, terutama siswa. Fenomena radikalisme di kalangan siswa mencerminkan kerentanan terhadap ideologi ekstremis yang memanfaatkan media sosial untuk perekrutan dan penyebaran narasi intoleran. Dalam konteks ini, LDI berperan strategis sebagai filter ideologis, sarana untuk memperkuat kesadaran kritis, dan media dakwah digital yang mempromosikan moderasi. Peran sekolah atau madrasah, guru, orang tua, dan komunitas sangat krusial dalam menginternalisasi LDI melalui integrasi kurikulum, pembelajaran kontekstual, pengawasan orang tua, dan ekosistem sosial yang mendukung. Namun, implementasi LDI masih menghadapi tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan kurikulum, kapasitas guru yang belum memadai, dan dominasi algoritma media sosial yang memperkuat konten manipulatif. Oleh karena itu, LDI harus dikembangkan secara kolaboratif, sistematis, dan kontekstual agar berfungsi efektif sebagai strategi pencegahan radikalisme sambil memupuk budaya digital yang moderat dan beradab. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Living Qur’an and Hadith in daily life at the Institut Kemandirian Dompet Dhuafa (IKDD). Living Qur’an and Hadith are understood as the actual practice of the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith in everyday activities, so that Islamic values are not only studied but also embodied in the institution’s culture. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of Living Qur’an and Hadith at IKDD is manifested through several habituation programs: (1) the performance of obligatory prayers in congregation, (2) the daily practice of shalat Duha as a recommended Sunnah, and (3) remembrance of Allah (dhikr) and recitation of al-Ma’thurat in the morning and evening. This implementation is in line with the spirit of the Qur’an and Hadith, fostering religious character, discipline, and spiritual awareness among students. Thus, the habituation of worship at IKDD represents a concrete form of Living Qur’an and Hadith in contemporary Islamic education. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Living Qur’an dan Hadits dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di Institut Kemandirian Dompet Dhuafa (IKDD). Living Qur’an dan Hadits dipahami sebagai praktik nyata dari ajaran Al-Qur’an dan Hadits dalam aktivitas keseharian, sehingga nilai-nilai Islam tidak hanya dipelajari, tetapi juga dihidupkan dalam budaya lembaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Living Qur’an dan Hadits di IKDD terwujud dalam beberapa program pembiasaan, yaitu: (1) pelaksanaan shalat wajib secara berjamaah, (2) shalat Dhuha sebagai amalan sunah harian, dan (3) zikir serta pembacaan al-Ma’tsurat di waktu pagi dan sore. Implementasi ini sejalan dengan spirit Al-Qur’an dan Hadits, serta membentuk karakter religius, kedisiplinan, dan kesadaran spiritual peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pembiasaan ibadah di IKDD menjadi bentuk nyata dari Living Qur’an dan Hadits dalam pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) in early childhood through Islamic parenting practices in West Java Province, Indonesia. The research is motivated by the urgent need to foster children’s learning autonomy from an early age, particularly within Muslim families where Islamic values serve as the foundation of child-rearing. Previous studies have predominantly focused on the role of schools and teachers in shaping SRL, while the contribution of Islamic parenting within family contexts remains underexplored, especially in West Java. This research employed a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design conducted across three districts/cities in West Java. Participants included parents, early childhood children, and PAUD (Early Childhood Education) educators involved in Islamic parenting communities. The findings reveal that consistent Islamic parenting, which emphasizes ta’dib (moral education), uswah hasanah (role modeling), and mujahadah (disciplinary practice), significantly supports the development of children’s SRL. Children demonstrated self-regulation in learning across three key domains: First, cognitive regulation, indicated by their ability to plan and complete simple tasks. Second, motivational regulation, reflected in learning driven by the intention of worship. Third, behavioral regulation, shown through managing study time, play, and worship in a balanced manner. In conclusion, Islamic parenting provides an effective foundation for nurturing SRL in early childhood by integrating religiosity, discipline, and affection. These findings contribute to the body of knowledge in family-based early childhood education by introducing an Islamic pedagogical perspective contextualized within West Javanese culture. Further research is recommended to develop Islamic parenting intervention models integrated with the PAUD curriculum to strengthen children’s learning autonomy in a sustainable manner. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) pada anak usia dini melalui pola pengasuhan parenting Islami di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kebutuhan menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar anak sejak usia dini, khususnya dalam keluarga muslim yang menjadikan nilai-nilai Islami sebagai pedoman pengasuhan. Studi terdahulu lebih berfokus pada peran sekolah atau guru dalam membentuk SRL, sementara kontribusi pola pengasuhan Islami dalam keluarga masih kurang dieksplorasi, terutama di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus multi-situs pada tiga Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Barat. Subjek penelitian meliputi orang tua, anak usia dini, serta pendidik Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam komunitas parenting Islami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengasuhan Islami yang konsisten menekankan nilai-nilai ta’dib (pendidikan akhlak), uswah hasanah (keteladanan), dan mujahadah (latihan disiplin) secara signifikan mendukung perkembangan SRL anak. Anak menunjukkan kemampuan mengatur diri dalam belajar melalui tiga aspek utama: Pertama, Regulasi kognitif, ditandai dengan kebiasaan merencanakan dan menyelesaikan tugas sederhana. Kedua, regulasi motivasional, tercermin dari adanya dorongan belajar berbasis niat ibadah. Ketiga, regulasi perilaku, ditunjukkan melalui pengelolaan waktu belajar, bermain, dan ibadah secara seimbang. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pola parenting Islami dapat menjadi fondasi efektif dalam menumbuhkan SRL pada anak usia dini, dengan memadukan aspek religiusitas, kedisiplinan, dan kasih sayang. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian PAUD berbasis keluarga dengan menambahkan perspektif ekopedagogis Islami yang kontekstual dengan budaya Jawa Barat. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengembangkan model intervensi parenting Islami yang terintegrasi dengan kurikulum PAUD guna memperkuat kemandirian belajar anak secara berkelanjutan. Polemik Gaji Dosen dalam Perspektif Literatur Tafsir Nusantara Klasik dan Kontemporer Rosidin

Abstract

The hashtag #janganjadidosen is trending on various social media platforms due to the lack of financial welfare of lecturers. Empirical evidence is that 76% of lecturers take side jobs, so that the campus climate changes from an academic climate to an entrepreneurial climate. Until now, people have still been polemicising about lecturers' salaries. This polemic is rooted in different views on the lecturer profession. Is the lecturer profession a service that is classified as a non-commercial contract (tabarru’at), or is it a job that is classified as a commercial contract (mu’awadat)? This article is compiled using the thematic tafsir method (maudu'i) initiated by Abdul Hayy al-Farmawi with five national tafsir literature as primary sources, namely Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abdurrauf al-Singkili; Marah Labid by Syaikh Nawawi; al-Ibriz by KH. Bisri Mustofa; Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka and Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Quraish Shihab. There are four research results. First, the relevant keyword to discuss the polemics over lecturers’ salaries is the word “ajrun” and its derivations, mentioned 108 times in 99 verses. Second, the object of research is 10 verses that are directly related to the theme of lecturers’ salaries, namely Surat al-A'raf [7]: 113, Yunus [10]: 72, Hud [11]: 51, al-Kahf [18]: 77, al-Furqan [25]: 57, al-Shu’ara’ [26]: 109, al-Qasas [28]: 26, Yasin [36]: 21, Sad [38]: 86 and al-Shura [42]: 23. Third, based on the analysis of comparative interpretation (muqarin), the word ajrun and its derivatives in the Qur’an have three connotations of meaning: a) The meaning of non-commercial reward; b) The meaning of commercial wages; c) The meaning of “maslahat” which includes commercial and non-commercial benefits. Fourth, the meaning of maslahat is a parameter that is relevant to lecturer salaries in Indonesia today. Meanwhile, the scope of the meaning of maslahat can be elaborated by future research that uses the Burhani (empirical) or Irfani (idealistic) approach, as a complement to this article that uses the Bayani (textualist) approach. Bukti empirisnya, 76% dosen mengambil kerja sampingan, sehingga iklim kampus berubah dari iklim akademik menjadi iklim wirausaha. Hingga saat ini, masyarakat masih berpolemik mengenai gaji dosen. Polemik ini berakar pada perbedaan pandangan dalam menyikapi profesi dosen. Apakah profesi dosen merupakan pengabdian yang tergolong akad tabarru’at yang bersifat non-komersil, atau merupakan pekerjaan yang tergolong akad mu’awadhat yang bersifat komersil. Artikel ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode tafsir tematik (maudhu’i) yang digagas oleh Abdul Hayy al-Farmawi dengan lima literatur tafsir nusantara sebagai sumber primer, yaitu Tarjuman al-Mustafid karya Abdurrauf al-Singkili; Marah Labid karya Syaikh Nawawi; al-Ibriz karya KH. Bisri Mustofa; Tafsir Al-Azhar karya Buya Hamka dan Tafsir Al-Mishbah karya Quraish Shihab. Ada empat hasil penelitian. Pertama, kata kunci yang relevan untuk membahas polemik gaji dosen adalah kata ajrun dan derivasinya yang disebutkan sebanyak 108 kali dalam 99 ayat. Kedua, objek penelitian adalah 10 ayat yang berkaitan langsung dengan tema gaji dosen, yaitu Surat al-A’raf [7]: 113, Yunus [10]: 72, Hud [11]: 51, al-Kahfi [18]: 77, al-Furqan [25]: 57, al-Syu’ara’ [26]: 109, al-Qashash [28]: 26, Yasin [36]: 21, Shad [38]: 86 dan al-Syura [42]: 23. Ketiga, berdasarkan analisis tafsir komparatif (muqarin), kata ajrun dan derivasinya dalam Al-Qur’an memiliki tiga konotasi makna: a) Makna pahala ukhrawi yang bersifat non-komersil; b) Makna upah duniawi yang bersifat komersil; c) Makna maslahat yang mencakup manfaat duniawi (komersil) dan ukhrawi (non-komersil). Keempat, makna maslahat merupakan parameter yang relevan dengan gaji dosen di Indonesia saat ini. Sedangkan ruang lingkup makna maslahat, dapat dielaborasi oleh penelitian berikutnya yang menggunakan pendekatan Burhani (empiris) maupun Irfani (idealis), sebagai pelengkap dari artikel ini yang menggunakan pendekatan Bayani (tekstualis). Kata Kunci: Dosen, Gaji Dosen, Tafsir Al-Qur’an, Tafsir Nusantara.
