Abstract

The development of digital technology, particularly mobile phones, has brought significant changes to society, including the field of education. This study aims to examine the influence of mobile phone usage on the moral development of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hasib Pakis. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population consisted of all MI Al Hasib students, with a sample of 65 students determined using random sampling techniques. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for both validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test with the assistance of SPSS. The reliability coefficient of the instrument for mobile phone usage was 0.638, while for students’ moral development it was 0.764, both constructed using a Likert scale. The results of the regression analysis showed a constant value of 40.534 and a coefficient of -0.242, indicating that mobile phone usage has a negative effect. The significance test showed a Sig. value of 0.044 < 0.05, which means that mobile phone usage has a significant influence on the moral development of students. Therefore, H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.063, indicating that mobile phone usage contributes 6.3% to students’ moral development, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on the interpretation scale of R, this influence is categorized as very low.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a fundamental principle in fostering harmonious religious life within Indonesia's plural society. Islamic education holds a strategic role in instilling these values, particularly in the digital era dominated by visual media and shifting learning patterns. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Islamic Education students toward the representation of religious moderation in the Walid movie, and to assess the role of Islamic education in shaping a moderate religious worldview. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with students who had watched the movie of Walid. The findings reveal that Walid serves as a reflective medium that enhances critical awareness of the importance of religious moderation. However, the film also carries the risk of misinterpretation not supported by adequate religious and media literacy. Islamic education is perceived as a central force in forming a balanced understanding of religious issues, serving as a bulwark against both extremism and interpretive liberalism. The study concludes the necessity of integrating contextual Islamic education curricula and media literacy as strategies to cultivate a generation that is religiously moderate, critical, and inclusive.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role in building a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also has faith and noble morals. One relevant approach is the integration of science and religion, which aims to harmonize spiritual values ​​with scientific progress. This integration is based on the concept of monotheism as a foundation, which confirms that there is no contradiction between Allah's revelation and true science. In the PAI context, this integration can be realized through the study of Al-Qur'an verses that are relevant to scientific phenomena, learning scientific ethics based on Islamic values, and contextual learning approaches. With this approach, students are expected to not only understand Islamic teachings in depth, but also be able to apply them in social life. However, this integration faces various challenges, such as curriculum gaps and limited competency of teaching staff. Therefore, synergy is needed between educational institutions, teaching staff, and educational policies to realize holistic education.

Abstract

Early childhood aged 0-6 years have a complex and very unique phase of growth and development. Its growth and development has developed very rapidly and cannot be repeated in the future. At an early age it is also said that the golden age, where children at an early age can easily imitate and absorb various knowledge in their environment, both positive and negative, so that at an early age it is very good to be given positive knowledge. The aim of the research is to understand the Islamic problems of early childhood in learning at school. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach or literature research, with data collection tools in the form of primary data and secondary data such as observation of problematic books on the development of early childhood education and secondary data supporting data that is relevant to this research, such as books, magazines, documents and journal articles about research directly. The technical analysis of this research is in the form of content analysis techniques or content analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that ways to deal with the problems of early childhood Islamic education in learning include 1) learning methods & strategies, infrastructure, learning media, 3) teacher competency.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the problems faced by students in religious education at SDN 1 Asrikaton. Using a qualitative approach and case study methodology, data was collected through interviews with school principals, religious education teachers and students, as well as direct observation of learning activities. Research findings show that the main problems students face are lack of motivation, limited learning opportunities, and lack of parental involvement in their children's religious education. In addition, some students have difficulty understanding religious content which is considered difficult and uninteresting. This research aims to provide a general overview of the challenges in religious education in elementary schools and recommendations for improving education to make it more effective and interesting for students.
