Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Support Vector Machine (SVM) dalam memprediksi kesiapan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Swasta Rahmat Islamiyah Medan dalam memasuki dunia kerja. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh permasalahan umum di SMK, yaitu ketidaksesuaian antara kompetensi siswa dan kebutuhan industri serta belum adanya sistem evaluasi berbasis data untuk mengukur kesiapan siswa secara akurat. Data yang digunakan meliputi nilai akademik, nilai praktik kerja lapangan (PKL), hasil uji kompetensi, keaktifan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kepemilikan sertifikat keahlian. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan RapidMiner sebagai alat bantu analisis dan pemodelan. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa metode SVM mampu memprediksi kesiapan siswa dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan di lingkungan SMK, khususnya dalam proses penilaian kesiapan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja secara objektif dan terukur.

Abstract

Abstract This study analyzes the disparity in primary education quality across Indonesian regions using K-Means clustering methodology to group 38 provinces based on classroom adequacy indicators and teaching staff availability for the 2023-2024 period. Adopting the CRISP-DM methodology and utilizing datasets from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, this research reveals significant educational gaps across Indonesian regions. The analysis results show three clusters reflecting educational conditions: Cluster 1 (low category) encompasses 23 provinces (67.6%) dominated by Eastern Indonesia regions such as Papua, Maluku, and other remote areas; Cluster 2 (medium category) consists of 13 provinces (38.2%) including South Sumatra, Riau, and DKI Jakarta; and Cluster 3 (high category) contains only 3 provinces: East Java, West Java, and Central Java. Clustering validity is confirmed through silhouette coefficient with the highest value of 0.795 for Cluster 2. These findings identify structural inequality between Java and outer Java regions, providing empirical foundation for the government to design more targeted educational equity policies, with priority on infrastructure rehabilitation and teaching staff augmentation in disadvantaged areas to achieve national educational justice. The research demonstrates that educational quality distribution in Indonesia remains heavily concentrated in Java, while remote and eastern regions face significant challenges in both physical infrastructure and human resources, requiring comprehensive government intervention strategies for sustainable educational development. Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based helpdesk ticketing application to address the manual service management problems at PT Centrepark Citra Corpora. The method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which allows for rapid and iterative system development based on user feedback. The resulting system is a web-based helpdesk application featuring role-based login, ticket management, technician reporting, status notifications, and report generation. System design was based on user requirements analysis, visualized through a use case diagram and implemented within an integrated database structure. The system was tested using black-box testing and involved 10 internal users across three main roles (admin, technician, and client). Test results indicated that all features functioned as expected and were well received by users. The application has proven to improve efficiency, traceability, and documentation of internal technical services. This system is expected to support digital transformation initiatives and can be replicated in other organizations with similar service management needs.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based Posyandu information system to improve the efficiency and accuracy of child health record keeping in preventing stunting. The system was designed to address the challenges faced by Posyandu Pamuji Rahayu in Banyurata Village, Kebumen, which still relies on a manual record-keeping system prone to damage and data loss. Using the Waterfall system development methodology, this study resulted in a system that allows both cadres and parents to access child health data digitally, improving transparency and the effectiveness of monitoring children's growth. The testing results show that the system successfully enhanced efficiency, facilitated data entry, and enabled early detection of stunting through visualizations of children's growth graphs. Despite challenges in digital literacy among cadres and limited internet access in remote areas, the findings indicate that the web-based system has great potential for broader implementation in supporting stunting prevention programs at Posyandu.

Abstract

Distribusi barang merupakan salah satu aspek vital dalam rantai pasok perusahaan, di mana efisiensi distribusi dapat berdampak langsung terhadap biaya operasional. PT Acel Furniture sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang distribusi kebutuhan pokok menghadapi permasalahan dalam menentukan pola distribusi barang dari gudang pusat ke beberapa cabang yang efisien secara biaya. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah tingginya biaya distribusi akibat pembagian barang yang tidak optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu pendekatan matematis untuk menentukan alokasi distribusi yang meminimalkan total biaya pengiriman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan distribusi barang pada PT Acel Furniture dengan memformulasikan masalah tersebut sebagai persoalan linear programming. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simpleks, yang kemudian diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python dengan pustaka scipy.optimize. Studi kasus dilakukan pada satu gudang pusat dan tiga cabang distribusi, dengan data permintaan masing-masing cabang dan biaya pengiriman per unit yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode simpleks mampu memberikan solusi distribusi optimal yang memenuhi seluruh permintaan cabang tanpa melebihi kapasitas gudang. Total biaya distribusi yang dihasilkan dari solusi optimal adalah sebesar Rp880.000, yang dihitung berdasarkan alokasi pengiriman 100 unit ke Cabang A, 120 unit ke Cabang B, dan 80 unit ke Cabang C. Implementasi metode simpleks dengan Python terbukti efektif dan efisien untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam proses distribusi barang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan dalam mengoptimalkan logistik distribusi secara kuantitatif dan berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

The goods sorting system is one of the important processes in the logistics system, especially when applied to work in the palm oil processing industry. The problem that occurs in the ripeness of palm fruit is that palm oil farmers find it difficult to distinguish the level of ripeness of palm fruit which will later affect the selling price of palm oil. Therefore, an automatic sorting conveyor control system is designed using an Arduino microcontroller to detect the level of ripeness of palm fruit by applying the neural network algorithm method in identifying the type of palm fruit based on the level of ripeness of the palm fruit. Then the integration of several sensors connected to the Arduino will later make it easier for the servo motor to determine the ripeness of the palm fruit. The results obtained using the neural network algorithm in processing the level of accuracy in identifying raw or ripe palm fruit can operate with the program settings that have been designed. In the Matlab simulation with the neural network method, an image pattern is obtained where if the result is close to 1 then the palm fruit is ripe, otherwise if there is nothing close to the value 1 then the palm fruit is still raw. The recorded data can later be a reference for palm oil farmers in making sales more accurately.

Abstract

The utilization of solar energy in Medan city has not been optimal, which is a case that requires a solution. This is due to the lack of understanding of the working concept and the factors influencing the efficiency of power generated by solar panels. The research conducted in the Medan City area, North Sumatra, aims to determine the performance of the monocrystalline off-grid solar panel conversion in response to weather fluctuations. Based on the study of solar panel performance, the analysis shows that the power generated is influenced by key variables such as voltage, current, power, and light intensity (lux). The voltage of the solar panel remains stable throughout the day, ranging from 11.00 V to 19.80 V, with the peak occurring at 1:00 PM. The current varies, from 0.25 A in the morning to 5.90 A during the day. The peak power is recorded at 1:00 PM, reaching 116.82 Watts, along with the highest voltage and current. The intensity of sunlight (lux) also affects power, with the peak lux of 50,000 occurring at 1:00 PM. Overall, the solar panel performs best between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, while the output power decreases in the morning and evening.

Abstract

The implementation of the final school exam at SMK Al Amanah has so far been carried out manually using paper, which causes various problems such as wasting time, risk of losing documents, and difficulties in the process of correction and recapitulation of grades. These problems encourage the need for the application of information technology in supporting learning evaluation activities. This research aims to design and build a client-server network-based school exam system with an efficient and affordable bus topology. This system was developed to increase the effectiveness of the exam and minimize errors in the assessment process. The methods used in this study include the stages of system design, software development using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and the implementation of local networks using a simple and cost-effective bus topology. The system consists of a single main server that manages questions and exam result data, as well as several client computers that are used by students to work on questions simultaneously. The test results show that the system can run well in a local network environment with a bus topology, where students can access the questions and take the exam simultaneously without any significant obstacles. In addition, the time of correction and recap of values becomes faster and more accurate. With this system, the exam process at SMK Al Amanah becomes more efficient, safe, and organized.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based Point of Sales (POS) application as a solution to automate the stationery sales process at Wesley Pelita Bangsa School. The existing manual sales management causes inefficiencies and potential errors in stock recording and financial reporting. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review to ensure that both functional and non-functional system requirements were met. The implemented POS system successfully automates stock reduction during transactions, automatic receipt generation, and accurate, easily accessible sales reporting. System testing using Blackbox Testing demonstrated that the application operates according to specifications without significant errors. Therefore, this application can improve operational efficiency, reduce recording errors, and support the smooth learning process at Wesley Pelita Bangsa School. This research provides practical contributions to sales management and can serve as a reference for developing similar systems in non-formal educational environments.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based project management system at Fanaya Art Construction. The system is designed to facilitate project management, from data collection, progress tracking, to automatic report generation. The user interface design approach prioritizes intuitiveness and responsiveness, making navigation easier and ensuring easy access across various devices. The Black Box method is used in system testing to ensure that the system functionality meets user needs. Using CodeIgniter, MySQL, and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, the system centrally manages project and client data, accelerates the reporting process, and enhances team collaboration. The implementation of this system has shown improvements in operational efficiency and more transparent and structured project management at Fanaya Art Construction.
