Abstract

There are two ethnic groups living in Kademangan, namely Arabs and local residents. Arab groups and local communities have different cultures that interact continuously so that cultural acculturation occurs. With the adjustment, it will create a good relationship between the Arab community and the local population. This acculturation then created a harmonious relationship between the local population and the Arab community in Kademangan Bondowoso Village. Social harmony exists in various aspects, both in terms of religion and social relations between the Arab Community and the local population. This research tries to answer the acculturation of Arabic and local languages ​​as a form of social harmonization in the people of Kademangan Bondowoso. This study results that the Kademangan community consists of Arab ethnicity and local residents, causing friction between two different cultures. Cultural contacts that occur continuously, make one of them have to adapt. Arab groups as immigrants must of course adapt to the habits of the local community, one of which is language. The local language is Madurese. Meanwhile, the Arab community's native language is Arabic. As a form of acculturation with the local community, ethnic Arabs made language adjustments so that a mixture of Arabic and Madurese was created.

Abstract

Revelation of Qur'an is a central issue in the Muslim tradition that for Arkoun needs to be reevaluated because it has caused Muslims to be dogmatic. the urgency of the reconstruction of the Qur'anic interpretation comes from Arkoun's assumLption that the meaning of the Qur'an which is currently still circulating is no longer sacred as it was at the time of the Prophet, Arkoun considers that the revelation in the form of the Qur'an has been manipulated by the scholars since the death of the Apostle, he has undergone changes in terms of meaning due to transmission from one human to another. Therefore, so that Muslims do not appear to be clumsy with the existing doctrine of meaning, the interpretation needs to be a reconstruction of the interpretation of the Qur'an using contemporary knowledge that is in accordance with the times. Arkoun formulates western social sciences with Islamic knowledge that he learned in the area where he lives and teaches with the hope that a new method of interpretation will emerge that has never been done by previous Muslim scientists. This is believed to have an impact on shifting the role of the previous method of interpreting the Qur'an.

Abstract

Marriage is sunnatullah for the regeneration of Muhammad's people. There are many ways to carry out marriages by the Indonesian people, one of which is that the people of Sumberlesung Village understand the meaning of the ability to marry in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, which has implications for the practice of marriage. The perception of the meaning of being able to marry according to the community is first, living, alone, eating alone, thinking alone, second, ajegheh atenah reng seppo dua (maintaining the feelings of mother/father's heart), third, peace of mind, and as a community they say they must have jobs. The social culture is based on ancestors who were strengthened by religious leaders. In this study the authors focus on three aspects of the study; First, what is the perception of the people of Sumberlesung Village, Ledokombo, Jember about the meaning of the ability to marry in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. Second, what are the factors that cause the perception of the people of Sumberlesung Village, Ledokombo, Jember about the ability to marry in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. Abstract

In recent years, there have been many debates among Muslims, especially among the Muslim scholar community regarding the use and understanding of the meaning of the Salaf in general, some claim (justify) that Salafus-Saleh is the basis of the way of religion, but if you look at it historically (historically) so there is a deep and sharp difference between the 19th century thinkers (reformist thinkers) and the early 20th century, for example between Jamalud Din al-Afghani (1838-1989) and Muhammad Abduh (1849-1905) who was known for the Salafiyah movement. , then in the next era appeared intellectuals (radical activists) such as Sayyid Qutb who was associated with the term neo-Salafi (Islamism, the term used by Oliver Roy. Abstract

At least in the last decade, the Indonesian people have again been plagued by the question of what the ideal relationship between Religion and State is. On the one hand, there are small groups of Muslims who want Islam as a religion to be fully incorporated into the state as the ideology and principle of the state, with the aim of making Indonesia a complete Islamic state. On the other hand, groups that have extremely rejected the involvement of religion in state regulation have also begun to show their rationale, by reducing Pancasila to trisila and ekasila, which can clearly reduce the universal values ​​of Pancasila as basis of Indonesia state. In this article, the author describes the thoughts of Kiai Haji Ahmad Siddiq in order to provide solutions and streamline the understanding of relationship between Religion and the State. Kiai Siddiq revealed that Pancasila is a unified whole that cannot be reduced and applied to just one, and the first precept, "Belief in One Supreme God" is the basis that must influence the other precepts.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan tradisi bekam sampai saat ini sudah banyak melalui perubahan, seperti adanya pembagian konsep bekam dari bekam kering dan basah, meskipun peningkatan dunia medis semakin canggih namun bekam tetap konsisten hadir sebagai pengobatan tradisional yang diminati masyarakat. Resepsi masyarakat terhadap bekam sangat penting untuk dijadikan sebuah penelitian seperti kontradiksi yang ada dalam hadisnya dan alasan mereka memilih non medis dari pada medis. Masyarakat Jember yang dikenal sebagai kota santri sangat menarik bagi peneliti untuk mencaritau bagaimana resepsi masyarakat terhadap hadis-hadis bekam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi bagaiamana pola resepsi Praktisi bekam dalam menafsirkan hadis tentang bekam. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini Pola resepsi Praktisi terhadap hadis bekam sangat beragam, banyak penafsiran-penafsiran yangdilakukan oleh para praktisi dalam meresepsikan hadis-hadis bekam. Tema hadis bekam terbagi menjadi 6 tema hadis bekam kebanyakan diresepsikan dengan menggunakan dominant coding oleh para informan. dalam menanggapi hadis bekam dan menerimanya lalu menafsirkan hadis tersebut sesuai dengan pengetahuannya masing-masing. Abstract

Literary interpretation as one of the treasures of interpretation that brings fresh air in interpreting the Koran. If in general the interpretation of the Qur'an is considered contextual and seems too rigid, then the literary interpretation breaks this statement. This style of interpretation processes the literature contained in the Qur'an and relates it to the reality of contemporary society. This article uses literature review by collecting several studies of figures in it. The results of the research in this article are that the fluctuation of interpretation using the aqli method has developed since the third century of the Hijri. The dimension of interpretation has shifted from the previous impression of being contextual to being more easily understood. In addition, several styles of interpretation provide a solutive interpretation of complex human problems. One of them is the literary interpretation carried by Amin Al-Khuli. Abstract

The tradition of drinking Rajha'an water on the day of Rebuh Bekkasan is one of the many traditions that the Javanese still preserve. Rebuh Bekkasan tradition is a ritual performed on the last Wednesday in the month of Shafar to ask for safety and reject 'balance.' However, with the development of education, the traditions that become the order of social life have experienced a shift under changes in other aspects of socio-cultural life caused by factors from outside and within the community itself. This research is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used the observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis with the interactive model of Milles and Huberman. Meanwhile, the validity of the data used the source and technical triangulation. The results of the study show that: majority of students practice the tradition of drinking Rajha'an water, the goal is not to ask for safety and refuse reinforcements as the original goal of the tradition and santri carry out the tradition only to obey the rules of the pesantren and want to expect blessings from the kiai so that their knowledge is blessed and beneficial. Internal factors that cause a shift in the meaning of tradition, among others, are: the development of educational science in Pondok Pesantren, there is not notification and coordination between the management and the students before implementing the tradition and changes in the implementation of traditions differ from the previous year. And external factors is: the student's ignorance of the Rebuh Bekkasan tradition because they had never done this tradition at home before, and the increasing of new students who do not understand the background and meaning of tradition.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing number of violence and intolerance in Indonesia as well as the need for attitudes of salaf Islamic boarding schools that can explain how individuals can live in harmony in diversity and achieve a peaceful life. This study aims to determine the strategies for surviving salaf values ​​in the Salafiyah Islamic boarding school Curah kates Klompangan and Darul Kasyfil Ulum Karangsono Jember Islamic boarding school, the similarities and differences in the two research locations will be points that show the uniqueness and uniqueness of each pesantren. The uniqueness and distinctiveness that comes from local wisdom will further employ scientific treasures, especially those related to salaf culture. This study uses in-depth interviews, observations and uses documentation in the data mining process, and analyzes it with integrative analysis techniques that combine and use formulations from a combination of several relevant salaf cultural value theories. The results described in this study are the strategy of defending the values ​​of the salaf strategy which aims to maintain on a micro scale. On a micro scale, this salaf attitude will have an impact on national attitudes that can accept differences in many ways as fellow citizens.

Abstract

Marriage by religion is recommended for those who are able to do so. Getting married is said to be able to provide peace of mind for married couples who love each other and love each other for the sake of Allah SWT. In order to reach the peak of love and love for Allah SWT. Many young people understand that marriage cannot be done because it is forced by anyone, but in many literatures it is explained that a mujbir guardian (father and grandfather) can force his daughter to marry, this concept is called Ijbar. Therefore, the author is interested in describing how the actual concept of coercion is meant and how it is implemented in the present context. Basically the concept of Ijbar boils down to a sense of responsibility and concern for parents for their children, Ijbar cannot be done arbitrarily without a sense of responsibility.
