Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has encouraged the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the healthcare sector, particularly for patient monitoring in hospitals. Manual monitoring processes often experience delays in information delivery, dependence on medical personnel, and the risk of human error. This study aims to analyze the development of IoT technology in patient health monitoring, its benefits, and the challenges faced in its implementation. The research employed a qualitative method using a literature review approach through the collection and analysis of various journals, books, and scientific articles related to IoT in healthcare. The results indicate that IoT enables real-time patient monitoring through internet-connected sensors, allowing healthcare professionals to access patient data quickly and efficiently. In addition, IoT has been integrated with cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies to improve data management efficiency. Despite offering numerous benefits, its implementation still faces challenges related to data security, infrastructure requirements, implementation costs, and human resource readiness. Therefore, IoT has significant potential to improve the quality of healthcare services in hospitals.

Abstract

Kopi Naka is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) operating in the coffee beverage sector, located in Tarakan, North Kalimantan. Kopi Naka produces several signature iced coffee variants, namely Naka (Milk Coffee), Naren (Palm Sugar), Namel (Caramel), Nalla (Vanilla), Nacho (Chocolate), and Nalo (Milo). In its daily operations, production quantities are still determined based on estimated demand, which often leads to suboptimal results. This study aims to optimize the production of Kopi Naka's signature menu using the goal programming method with the assistance of the POM-QM version 5.2 software. The objectives to be achieved include fulfilling the targeted production quantity, minimizing production costs, and maximizing profits. The optimization results indicate that all priority goals can be optimally achieved. The production capacity target of 1,400 cups per month can be met through a recommended production combination of 1,355 cups for the Naka variant and 45 cups for the Nacho variant. Through this production combination, Kopi Naka MSME can achieve an optimal profit target of IDR 3,245,000 per month, with an efficient production cost utilization of IDR 11,200,000 per month (achieving a savings of IDR 40,000 from the total estimated cost constraint of IDR 11,240,000).

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has increased the volume of customer data, including sensitive shipping receipt data. However, data protection in this sector remains suboptimal, making the risk of personal data leakage a serious threat. This study aims to analyze the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) in supporting the implementation of data masking to improve the security of receipt data on e-commerce platforms. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, reviewing various scientific sources published between 2021 and 2026. The results show that MIS plays an important role in three main aspects: RBAC-based access restrictions, AI/NLP-based sensitive data sorting, and dynamic data masking on the interface without altering the original data. In addition, MIS also maintains smooth post-masking operations by maintaining the data format. The implementation of MIS-based data masking has proven effective in improving receipt data security, as demonstrated in previous research. Thus, MIS and data masking are strategic, complementary solutions in protecting customer privacy in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has significantly impacted various aspects of human life, including the healthcare sector. One of the most prominent applications of AI is its use in disease diagnosis processes. AI's ability to process large volumes of medical data enables healthcare professionals to detect diseases more quickly, accurately, and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the development of Artificial Intelligence in disease diagnosis, identify its role in healthcare services, and examine the impacts and challenges arising from its implementation. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review method. Data were collected from scientific journals, research articles, books, and other credible academic sources related to AI applications in healthcare. The findings indicate that AI has substantial potential to improve disease diagnosis through medical image analysis, electronic health record processing, and clinical decision support systems. although AI offers numerous benefits, including improved diagnostic accuracy and healthcare efficiency, it also presents challenges related to patient data privacy, ethical concerns, and technological dependency. Therefore, responsible technological development and clear regulations are essential to ensure that AI implementation in healthcare provides optimal benefits for society.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence in the modern era has brought significant impacts across various fields, including the creation of digital artworks. This study aims to analyze the development of Artificial Intelligence in the world of digital art, its role in the creative process, its impact on artists’ creativity, as well as the challenges and problems arising from its use. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach through collecting data from scientific journals, articles, and other reliable sources. The results of the study show that Artificial Intelligence is able to assist the process of creating digital artworks by improving efficiency, productivity, and creative exploration. In addition to providing positive impacts, the use of Artificial Intelligence also creates negative impacts such as reducing the originality of artworks, diminishing emotional elements in art, and the potential replacement of human artists. Furthermore, the use of Artificial Intelligence in digital art also raises ethical and copyright issues related to ownership of works and the use of data as training material for Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, a balance between the utilization of Artificial Intelligence technology and human creativity is needed in order to maintain the aesthetic value and meaning of art.

Abstract

The use of technology has changed how people make payments, with more people using digital methods instead of cash. A popular innovation in this development is the digital wallet, which allows users to store money and make payments, transfers, and purchases through mobile applicationsThis article analyzes at how digital wallet technology helps support cashless transactions in Indonesia. The discussion focuses on ease of use, security, technology support, and barriers to adoption. This study was conducted through a survey of digital wallet users, mainly students who have used these services for cashless transactions. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using statistical tests. The results show that digital wallets play an important role in supporting cashless transactions because they are fast, accessible, and provide transaction history. Digital wallets also work with QRIS, Indonesia’s national QR code payment standard, which makes digital payments easier to use across different platforms. However, there are still several challenges in using digital wallets. Some users still have limited digital literacy, concerns about data security, and limited internet access. This article provides a foundation for further research on digital payment behavior in Indonesia. Digital wallets have become an important part of cashless transactions because they offer convenience, speed, and security. Their use is expected to continue growing as digital payment technology develops and as people become more familiar with digital financial services.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various activities, including digital content creation on social media platforms such as TikTok. This study aims to analyze the role of AI in improving the efficiency of digital content creation on the TikTok application. The research employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach by examining various relevant scientific sources, including journals, books, articles, and previous studies. The results indicate that the utilization of AI contributes to improving the efficiency of the content creation process through the automation of various production stages, enhancement of content quality, and optimization of audience interaction. In addition to increasing productivity, AI also helps content creators produce content that is more relevant and adaptive to digital trends. However, the utilization of AI still faces several challenges, such as algorithmic bias, dependence on automated systems, and the risk of reduced content originality. Therefore, the use of AI should be balanced with users' creativity and capabilities to maximize the benefits of the technology. This study shows that AI plays a strategic role as a supporting technology in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of digital content creation on the TikTok platform.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has generated massive customer transaction data that can support business decision-making. However, many companies have yet to fully leverage this data for understanding customer behavior and developing targeted strategies. This study aims to perform customer segmentation on the Online Retail II dataset using the Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM) approach combined with the K-Means Clustering algorithm in order to generate customer profiles that can serve as the basis for business strategy development. The dataset used in this study consists of 1,067,371 customer transaction records with eight main attributes. The preprocessing stage included the removal of missing values in Customer ID, duplicate records, invalid transactions, and return transactions. Subsequently, RFM values were calculated for 5,878 unique customers. To improve data quality, outlier removal was performed using the Interquartile Range (IQR) method, resulting in 5,182 customers being retained for the clustering process. Prior to modeling, the data were normalized using the Min-Max Scaling technique. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Elbow Method and Silhouette Score, which indicated that k = 3 was the best configuration with a Silhouette Score of 0.4780. The clustering results identified three customer segments with distinct characteristics. Cluster 0 had an average Recency of 91.53 days, Frequency of 2.88 transactions, and Monetary value of 776.59, representing potential customers. Cluster 1 exhibited the highest Recency value of 479.40 days along with the lowest Frequency and Monetary values, indicating at-risk customers. Cluster 2 showed the lowest Recency value of 69.31 days and the highest Frequency and Monetary values of 8.80 transactions and 2,943.38 respectively, representing loyal and high-value customers (Champions). Based on the characteristics of each segment, different marketing strategies can be implemented, including loyalty programs, upselling strategies, and customer reactivation campaigns. The findings demonstrate that the combination of the RFM method and K-Means Clustering is effective in generating customer segmentation and supporting data-driven customer intelligence to improve marketing strategy effectiveness in the retail industry.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT)-based lighting control systems enable users to monitor and control electronic devices remotely via internet connection. This study aims to develop and implement a WiFi-based lighting monitoring and control system using an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with the Blynk platform. System development and testing were carried out in the Wokwi simulation environment. The research employed a prototype method with an experimental approach. This approach consisted of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, integration with Blynk Cloud, and system testing. In the developed system, ESP32 functions as the main controller, a relay acts as the actuator, and an LED represents the lamp. Functional testing was conducted across nine scenarios to verify the monitoring and control capabilities of the system. The results show that the ESP32 successfully connected to the WiFi network and Blynk Cloud with a connection success rate of 100%, confirming that the network configuration and Authentication Token were correctly configured. The system was able to execute lighting control commands with an average response time of 0.36 seconds, ranging from 0.1 to 0.8 seconds. In addition, the lamp status was accurately displayed through a virtual pin on the Blynk dashboard according to the actuator condition. The use of Wokwi enabled system development and testing without requiring physical hardware, thereby accelerating the validation process. The findings indicate that the integration of ESP32 and Blynk can serve as a simple and scalable prototype for IoT-based smart home development.

Abstract

The exponential growth of information technology (IT) demands alignment between national legal regulations and global ethical standards. This study critically examines the extent to which Indonesia's positive law adopts global ethical standards through the lens of the PAPA Framework (Privacy, Accuracy, Property, Accessibility) and the five fundamental principles of cyber ethics. Employing a normative legal research method combined with comparative literature review, this study analyzes international codes of ethics (ACM and IEEE) alongside Indonesia's domestic regulations, including the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), the Copyright Law, the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), and the Second Amendment to the UU ITE. The findings indicate that Indonesia's positive law has accommodated privacy, accuracy, and property as a legal floor, with notable reinforcement of the privacy pillar following the enactment of the UU PDP. However, a significant gap remains in the accessibility dimension and in practical ethical implementation, as reflected in the prevalence of dark patterns and algorithmic bias. This study concludes that strengthening the National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) by explicitly integrating global ethical values is essential to producing IT human resources who are both globally competitive and morally accountable
