Abstract

Computer networks supporting organizational operations are increasingly vulnerable to unauthorized access as connectivity grows. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Access Control List implementation in securing computer networks through a segmented network simulation approach. A simulated network environment was constructed to evaluate the ability of ACL to distinguish between permitted and unauthorized traffic. The results indicate that ACL successfully blocks unauthorized access while maintaining legitimate network services. These findings confirm that ACL remains an effective basic access control mechanism in controlled network environments.

Abstract

The abstract contains a = Web application security is a critical aspect in ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of user data. One of the most common attack vectors is parameter tampering, which involves manipulating parameter values transmitted between the client and the server to alter application logic. This study aims to analyze the level of vulnerability of web applications to parameter tampering attacks and to identify the resulting security impacts. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method through web application security testing based on black-box testing techniques. The testing process is conducted using tools such as Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP to observe application responses to parameter modifications. The results indicate that weaknesses in server-side parameter validation mechanisms still exist and may be exploited by attackers. Therefore, the implementation of strict server-side parameter validation and regular security testing is essential to enhance the overall security of web applications.

Abstract

The high level of electrical energy consumption in the UP3 Mojokerto area has become a significant concern for PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Mojokerto, particularly due to the risk of inaccuracies at transaction points (kWh meters) that may lead to increased energy losses. PT PLN (Persero) seeks to prevent measurement errors or misuse of electrical energy at the Metering and Limiting Equipment (Alat Pengukur dan Pembatas/APP), which could result in financial losses for both the utility company and customers. This study aims to minimize such measurement errors and potential irregularities through vector analysis of APP installed on three-phase customers, using a quantitative research approach. The analysis is supported by vector diagrams and instantaneous data obtained from the Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) application. The results indicate that vector analysis combined with AMR data enables PT PLN (Persero) to detect measurement anomalies in APP at an early stage. Consequently, this approach contributes to reducing potential losses and improving fairness and accuracy in energy transactions for both PT PLN (Persero) and its customers.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires companies to implement strategic planning of Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) that is aligned with business objectives. PT Central Bearindo International, a national-scale bearing distribution company, has utilized several information systems to support its operational activities; however, these systems still operate independently, resulting in data integration issues and reduced operational efficiency. This study aims to develop an IS/IT strategic planning framework that effectively supports the company’s business needs. The Ward and Peppard method is employed, encompassing internal and external business environment analysis, IS/IT condition analysis, application portfolio mapping using the McFarlan Strategic Grid, and the formulation of IS/IT development recommendations and a roadmap. The results indicate that the company requires integration of sales, inventory, and financial systems to improve data accuracy and consistency. Furthermore, optimization of existing systems and the development of a human resource (HR) module integrated with the fingerprint-based attendance system are recommended to enhance operational efficiency. The integrated utilization of system data is also expected to support more accurate and data-driven managerial decision-making. This study is expected to serve as a reference for companies in developing integrated information systems aligned with their business strategies.

Abstract

The alignment of information systems with business needs plays an important role in improving organizational operational effectiveness. CV Rejeki Raya Sejahtera faces challenges because its information systems have not been strategically planned, resulting in limited support for achieving business objectives. This study aims to develop an information systems strategic plan that aligns with the company’s conditions and business needs. The study employs the Ward and Peppard method using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using internal and external environmental analysis and information systems mapping with the McFarlan Strategic Grid. The results indicate that existing information systems are still focused on operational activities and have not yet supported business strategy. The contribution of this study is a structured application portfolio and IS/IT development recommendations, which are expected to improve business process effectiveness and support managerial decision making in a sustainable manner for organizational contexts.

Abstract

Competition in the micro and small business sector demands the use of effective, informative promotional media that can support increased sales. This study aims to design promotional media for Elmo Shop's product sales based on visual communication design as part of a promotional information system to clarify product information delivery and strengthen the business's identity. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and literature review. The promotional media design process was conducted using the Luther–Sutopo multimedia development method, which includes the stages of concept, design, material collection, production, testing, and distribution. The research results produced promotional media in the form of business cards, posters, x-banners, and banners that were designed consistently and communicatively. Evaluation using a questionnaire showed that the developed promotional media increased consumer interest and understanding of the product, as well as the effectiveness of Elmo Shop's promotions. Thus, this visual communication design-based promotional media design contributes to supporting the promotional information system and increasing sales potential for micro and small businesses.

Abstract

PT Roda Prima Perkasa has implemented a fingerprint-based attendance system; however, attendance data management remains suboptimal due to limited integration and manual recapitulation processes. This study aims to design a structured and integrated fingerprint attendance system architecture using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies of the existing system. The research methodology follows the stages of the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM), including the Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. The results consist of a proposed fingerprint attendance system architecture covering business, application, data, and technology aspects, with centralized data management and the use of an Attendance Management System to support more effective attendance processing.
