Abstract

Penelitian ini di ajukan atas dasar kekhawatiran masyarkat terhadap para pemuda yang sekarang ini masuk dalam fase menuju dewasa. Perkembangan zaman ini akan memaksa membawa mereka untuk mengikuti perkembangan ini. Maka dengan kekhwatiaran itu ulama harus ambil peran dalam mengamankan akhlaq para remaja dan pemuda supaya tidak terjerumus kepada hal-hal yang bertentangan dengan syariat islam. Dengan menumbuhkan nilai-nilai religius untuk membentengi mereka dalam pergaulan yang bebas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang 1). peran Ulama dalam meningkatkan keagmaan terhadap pemuda di lingkungan masjid Al-Istiqomah 2) Nilai-niali apa yang harus ditanamkan kepada peemuda 3) Faktor penunjang keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan kualitas keagmaan terhadap pemuda dan faktor penghambat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang memiliki karakteristik alami (natural setting). Penelitian ini juga merupakan penelitian studi kasus (case study), yaitu: suatu penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mempelajari secara intensif tentang latar belakang keadaan sekarang, dan interaksi lingkungan suatu unit sosial: individu, kelompok, lembaga, organisasi dan masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran yang dilakukan oleh ulama atau tokoh dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keagamaan terhadap pemuda dengan mengadakan pengajian rutin setiap minggu sekali. Dan mengadakan kajian tematik setiap hari.

Abstract

Pendidikan pesantren di Indonesia memiliki tradisi panjang yang memadukan pengajaran agama dengan struktur sosial yang khas, di mana kiai memegang peran sentral sebagai pemimpin dan pusat legitimasi. Secara khusus, praktik otoritas kiai, feodalisme internal, dan modal keagamaan dalam pesantren menimbulkan dinamika sosial yang kompleks dan membutuhkan pemahaman mendalam. Penelitian ini diinisiasi karena terdapat gap dalam literatur sebelumnya yang jarang menelaah interaksi simultan antara otoritas, feodalisme, dan modal keagamaan serta adaptasi institusi pesantren terhadap modernitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka (library research) dengan analisis konten terhadap literatur ilmiah, buku akademik, dan dokumen daring yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa otoritas kiai tidak hanya bersifat administratif, tetapi juga berperan sebagai pusat legitimasi moral dan simbolik; praktik feodalisme dapat diminimalkan melalui sistem partisipatif yang melibatkan santri senior; serta modal sosial dan simbolik berfungsi sebagai perekat komunitas dan instrumen adaptasi terhadap perubahan sosial-digital. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dengan memperluas pemahaman relasi kuasa dan modal simbolik dalam institusi pesantren, sekaligus menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pengelola pesantren untuk menyeimbangkan otoritas, partisipasi santri, dan keberlanjutan institusi. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya strategi adaptif yang mempertahankan tradisi pesantren sekaligus responsif terhadap dinamika sosial dan teknologi modern.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work facilities, teamwork and work discipline on employee performance at the Pematangsiantar DPRD Secretariat Office. The type of research used in this research is quantitative method. The sample in this study were employees at the Pematangsiantar City DPRD Secretariat Office as many as 35 people. The results showed that the work facility variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with at value of 2.662> t table 2.039 and a sig value of 0.012 < 0.05, teamwork had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with at value of 2.243> t table 2.039 and a sig value of 0.032 < 0.05, work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employees performance, with at value of 5.427> t table 2.039 and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results showed that work facilities, teamwork, and work discipline simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a calculated F value of 29.462> F table 2.83 and a Sig value of 0.000

Violence behavior among inmates in correctional facilities is a significant problem in many countries around the world. Studies linking perceived correctional environment and aggression on violent behavior among inmates tend to be lacking. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share learning model on the learning outcomes of third-grade students in Elementary School 124398 Pematang Siantar. This study uses a quantitative approach with the One Group Pretest-Postest pre-experimental design method. This study was conducted at Elementary School 124398 Pematang Siantar. Based on data analysis, a significant increase in student learning outcomes was obtained after the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model. This is indicated by an increase in the average student score from the Pretest of 47.48 to 85.74 on the posttest. So, after using the Think Pair Share learning model, the learning outcomes obtained were higher compared to before using the Think Pair Share learning model. Furthermore, the value resulting from the Normality test is 0.323. This test is used to determine whether the data is normally distributed or not. Then the t-test can be seen t_(hitung>) t_(tabel ), with a significance level of 0.05. So the results show that t_(hitung>) = 18.21 fromt_(tabel )= 1.714 which means there is a significant difference. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using wordwall media on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 091544 Pardomuan in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 21 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 091544 Pardomuan. The instrument used was multiple-choice questions. Statistical data analysis using the N-Gain test showed that most students experienced an increase in understanding, with an average N-Gain score of 0.6473 and an average N-Gain percentage of 64.7255%, making it categorized as quite effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of wordwall media significantly improved student learning outcomes in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 091544 Pardomuan in the 2025/2026 academic year

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode Small Group Discussion dan minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas X SMK Swasta Taman Siswa Pematangsiantar Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto dan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 128 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket metode Small Group Discussion dan minat belajar, serta dokumentasi nilai rapor PPKn siswa. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, regresi linear sederhana dan ganda, serta uji signifikansi (uji t dan uji F). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) metode Small Group Discussion berpengaruh signifikan dan sangat kuat terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,82; (2) minat belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,54; dan (3) metode Small Group Discussion dan minat belajar secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,69. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Small Group Discussion yang efektif serta peningkatan minat belajar siswa berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

Civics Education (PKn) learning plays a strategic role in shaping democratic character while improving student achievement. However, learning practices in schools still tend to be teacher-centered and involve minimal active student participation. This study aims to analyze the influence of democratic behavior and discussion methods on student achievement in Civics Education for grade XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population was 142 students, with a sample of 28 students determined through purposive random sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire to measure democratic behavior and the application of discussion methods, as well as documentation of student achievement scores. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression tests, multiple linear regression, linearity tests, and correlation tests with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that democratic behavior had a positive and significant effect on student achievement, discussion methods also had a positive and significant effect on learning achievement, and there was a strong simultaneous influence between democratic behavior and discussion methods on student achievement. These findings confirm that civics learning that emphasizes the internalization of democratic values ​​through discussion methods can create a participatory learning environment, enhance student understanding, and strengthen civic character. Therefore, consistent application of discussion methods and strengthening of students' democratic behavior need to be optimized in civics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method and the use of the Kahoot application on students’ learning outcomes in Civic Education (PKn) subject for ninth-grade students of UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. The background of this research is based on the low learning interest and student engagement caused by monotonous and conventional teaching methods. This study employed a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental design using the Pre-test Post-test Control Group method. The population consisted of 343 ninth-grade students, with a sample of 61 students divided into experimental and control classes. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test that had been validated and tested for reliability using SPSS. Data were analyzed using normality test, N-Gain test, and t-test. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning method and the use of the Kahoot application have a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. These strategies improve students’ motivation, engagement, and comprehension, resulting in better learning achievements compared to conventional methods. This research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in selecting innovative teaching methods and media to enhance the quality of the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at the UPTD of Public Elementary School 124392 Pematangsiantar. This study employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample size was 25 students. Data collection techniques used included pretest-posttest and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 52.96, with a 12% completion rate, which then increased to 82.32, with a 100% completion rate on the posttest. The results of the normality analysis show that the pretest data has a significant value of 0.088>0.05 and the posttest value has a significant value of 0.289>0.05, so the results of the normality analysis have normally distributed data.Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the calculated t value was 12.641 and the t value was 2.064, with a significance level of 0.05. Since the probability of significance is 0.000 <0.05, or the calculated t value > t table, and the results obtained (t count = 12.641 > t table = 2.064), Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model has an effect on the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at the UPTD of SD Negeri 124392 Pematangsiantar
