Abstract

The use of information technology in education has become common, including in universities such as STMIK Kaputama Binjai. The Academic Information System (AIS) is an important component in college operations, assisting in the management of student data, lecturers, grades, and other academic information. However, it is important to conduct an AIS IT governance audit to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. In this context, the audit was conducted using the COBIT 5 framework, focusing on the MEA (Monitor, Evaluate & Access) domain. The results of this audit provide recommendations to improve maturity levels in various COBIT 5 domains, such as improving the responsiveness of IT support services and setting clear KPIs for system performance evaluation. Thus, this audit is expected to be the basis for improving AIS IT governance at STMIK Kaputama Binjai in order to support the teaching and learning process more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Cats are one of the beloved animals that require care and development. As beloved animals, cats have their own charm thanks to their different body shapes, eyes and fur colors. Cats whose pedigrees are officially registered as purebred cats. Cats, in Latin Felis silvestris catus, are a type of carnivore. The word cat usually means a domesticated cat but can also refer to large cats such as lions, tigers and leopards. Cats have been mixed with human life for at least 6000 years BC, since cat skeletons were discovered on the island of Cyprus (Arquitectura et al., 2015). One of the diseases that often appears in cats is feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), also known as feline urological syndrome (FUS), which is a health problem that often occurs in cats, especially male cats. This health problem attacks the cat's bladder and urethra. Urethral disorders are caused by the structure of the male cat's urethra, which is tube-shaped and has a narrow section, which often causes obstruction of urine from the bladder (VU) to the outside of the body. FLUTD includes several diseases that occur in the cat's urinary tract (Indonesia, 2022). Knowledge about diseases in cats is one of the problems. Many owners do not realize that their cats are suffering from diseases that can cause death. The cause of the cat's death occurred due to the keeper's lack of knowledge regarding the disease and symptoms the cat was experiencing. Apart from that, the problem is that there are so few doctors available that they are difficult to find, and the information obtained is only in accordance with the condition of the cat when it goes to the vet. If you see other symptoms, like it or not, you have to consult the veterinarian again and it will take additional time and money. This problem can be solved with an expert system that can diagnose the disease suffered by the cat based on the selected symptoms.

Abstract

Data mining is a technique to dig up new information from a data warehouse, information is seen as very important and valuable because by mastering information it is easy to achieve a goal, this makes everyone compete to obtain information, as well as in trading businesses such as the Iblite Luxury store. This store is located in Medan close to residents' houses, Sales transaction data will continue to grow, causing data storage to be even larger. Sales transaction data is only used as an archive without being properly utilized. Basically, a dataset has very useful information. Market basket analysis with a priori algorithm is one of the data mining methods that aims to find association patterns based on consumer shopping patterns, so that it can be known what items of goods are purchased in a At the same time, the results of this study found that the highest support and confidence values were Ysl and Chanel with a support value of 50% and confidence of 75%.

Abstract

Grha Kedoya Hospital in West Jakarta faces significant challenges in document management, including medical records, financial reports, and administrative documents. This study aims to analyze the document storage system in the Secretariat Unit of Grha Kedoya Hospital using the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method. The results show that the security, functional, and non-functional aspects of the document storage system are rated very well by respondents, with average scores of 80.4%, 81.4%, and 76.4% respectively. Despite challenges in transitioning to a digital system such as staff adaptation and infrastructure investment, the majority of respondents support this change to enhance efficiency and security. The UAT method proves effective in identifying the system's strengths and weaknesses, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Abstract

In today's digital era, almost all parts of human life depend on the development of information and communication technology, which helps in increasing efficiency, effectiveness and cost savings in various activities. The role of information and communication technology is very vital in human life today. The National and Political Unity Agency (BAKESBANGPOL) is a government agency which has the main task of social and political development in the Central Lombok Regency area. BAKESBANGPOL has implemented a system or application called e-Kinerja. The implementation of the e-Kinerja application is said to be running quite well and is easy to use, however the e-Kinerja Application also often experiences problems such as frequent human errors and lack of socialization of the e-Kinerja Application which will have an impact on decreasing efficiency and decreasing trust in the system. Therefore, measurements of application quality need to be carried out. This research aims to measure the level of usability using the USE Questionnaire method in the e-Kinerja application. This research uses quantitative research with stages of observation and interviews, preparation of questionnaires, distribution of questionnaires. The results of this research are the results of calculating the usability measurement of e-Kinerja, which obtained a value of 81.45% which is in the range of 81-100, where the e-Kinerja application at BAKESBANGPOL Central Lombok Regency is very suitable for use by ASN.

Abstract

Currently, the need for information is important in everyday life. The government plays a role in meeting the information needs of the community by providing access to information that is accurate, reliable and easily accessible. One effort to meet community needs is by providing communication channels such as official government websites, information centers, and others. The aim of this research is to assess whether a website meets standards as a source of accurate information. This research uses an exploratory study writing method. From the results of the analysis carried out by researchers on the West Java Government website (https://jabarprov.go.id/) using 20 indicators of information quality dimensions, it was found that overall the information quality of the website has been implemented well.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the C4.5 algorithm in classifying athlete performance based on the 2023 award recipient list. The C4.5 algorithm was chosen for its ability to construct decision trees that can identify patterns and characteristics distinguishing high-performing athletes. The data used in this study includes various attributes such as gender, age, sport, number of medals, and level of competition participation. The results show that the C4.5 algorithm can classify athletes with high accuracy. The resulting decision tree provides valuable insights into the key factors contributing to athlete performance. The implementation of this algorithm is expected to assist sports organizations in more effectively identifying and developing potential talents.

Abstract

PT BrickBern is a distribution company specializing in LEGO (Leg Godt) toy products. An efficient inventory information system is crucial for managing the diverse range of LEGO products and enables the company to meet customer demand effectively. The V-Model method was chosen as a structured development approach due to its advantages in well-defined development and testing stages, allowing for early error detection and correction. The research began with a needs analysis that included an in-depth understanding of the company's requirements for LEGO product inventory management. The system design phase followed, covering database design, user interface design, and adequate system architecture. Subsequently, the system was implemented and tested, and training was provided to users. The research outcome is a web-based inventory information system that supports PT BrickBern in managing LEGO product inventory more efficiently and in real-time, thereby enhancing PT BrickBern's operational efficiency in distributing LEGO products and increasing customer satisfaction. Furthermore, these findings can serve as a reference for similar companies looking to develop web-based inventory information systems using the V-Model method.

Abstract

The development of smartphone technology is becoming faster and more diverse, so consumers are often faced with problems in choosing smartphones that fit their needs and budgets. Decision Support System (DPS) can help consumers make the right decisions. The purpose of this research is to design the best smartphone decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is used to calculate the weight of smartphone attributes such as Price, Internal Memory, Smartphone Processing Performance and Speed, Camera Quality, Battery Capacity so that it can provide a solution to consumers in choosing smartphones according to their wishes and needs.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of a decision support system (DSS) for selecting the best tourist attractions in Surakarta City using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The background of the research is the importance of choosing the right tourist attractions to enhance visitor satisfaction and support regional development. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to provide structured assessments based on multiple criteria. This study uses an Agile approach in system development, involving planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The results show that the developed decision support system can effectively manage the criteria and alternatives for tourist attractions. The calculations using the SAW method indicate that Sheikh Zayed Mosque has the highest preference value, making it the best tourist attraction according to this system. Testing shows that the system functions as expected, with consistent calculation results between manual and automated methods.
