Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership as a motivator in improving teacher performance at SD Negeri 2 Tegalsari. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques through interview techniques, observation and documentation studies while the validity of the data through tests of credibility, transferability depenbilitas and confirmability. The results of this study found that the type of leadership can increase the discipline of students at SD Negeri 2 Tegalsari by creating good communication, mutual support and being able to fulfill their responsibilities in leading the school principal and good cooperation is also needed with their subordinates to control and supervise students. students, students' awareness of the importance of discipline and the support of parents and the surrounding community. The conclusion in this study is to develop a plan to improve discipline in SD Negeri 2 Tegalsari which is carried out by teachers, education staff, guardians of students so that they feel responsible for the implementation of student discipline.

Abstract

“Merdeka Belajar” curriculum is also expected to be able to produce output from high moral education. “merdeka belajar”curriculum strives for the role of technology, which is a human need today to be integrated in the era of society 5.0. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research show that at the planning stage all school stakeholders were initiated by the Deputy Head of Curriculum to compile the things needed in learning. Starting from learning tools, media and teacher readiness in carrying out learning for one academic year which will take place with the concept of “merdeka belajar” Curriculum. At the implementation stage, the implementation of this independent curriculum also had an impact felt by students, educators, and other educational staff. The perceived impact is also divided into two, the positive impact and the negative impact. Factors that become obstacles in the application of independent learning is the lack of understanding that educators, students, even parents have, which hinders the purpose of the process of implementing independent learning. As well as the lack of infrastructure available in the implementation of “merdeka belajar” curriculum. The conclusion of this research is that “merdeka belajar” curriculum implemented at SMPN 3 PLERED is running as it should, it only needs improvement in terms of understanding and teaching materials to support the implementation of the proper independent curriculum.

Abstract

The article discusses the challenges and solutions in managing an Islamic junior high school (MTsN) in Piyungan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. It emphasizes the role of school leaders in developing human resources and addressing internal and external issues. The frequent change of school principals within a short period has impacted the school's development. The research employs qualitative descriptive methodology, highlighting the significance of conflict management, educational management, and human resource management. Common problems include accreditation preparation, building development, principal rotation, and teaching management. Solutions proposed include team collaboration, transparent fund management, and enhancing students' life skills through improved facilities. The study concludes that effective leadership and coordinated efforts are vital to addressing these challenges and achieving the school's objectives.

Abstract

Pesantren, Indonesia's oldest educational institution, has played a significant role in Islamic education. This article explores the management and development strategies for salaf pesantren. It delves into historical context, discussing the unique elements of pesantren: kyai (teachers), santri (students), pondok (boarding), masjid (mosque), and classical book teachings. Challenges include centralized leadership, management complexities, and the need for professional human resources. The article proposes solutions, encompassing financial management, personalized student guidance, result evaluation principles, structural management, socio-egalitarianism, epistemology or methodology mastery, continuous innovation, and economic empowerment. The paper also emphasizes innovation, aligned curriculum, and cooperation among pesantren and related institutions. It concludes that pesantren can thrive by embracing modern strategies while preserving core values.

Abstract

Parenting is fundamental in the formation of character. Exemplary parental attitudes are needed for children's development because children will do modeling and imitation of their immediate environment. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using a case study method or approach. This research focuses intensively on one particular object that is studied as a case. The formation of parenting styles in Islamic boarding schools and families has a central role in shaping the character and development of children. In Islamic boarding schools, Islamic religious values ​​and principles are the main foundation of parenting, in the family, parenting is influenced by cultural and religious values ​​which are the foundation for the formation of children's character.

Abstract

Changes in the existing curriculum in the world of Indonesian education have made the learning process change in line with developments over time. The Merdeka Curriculum and the 2013 Curriculum both aim to form a generation with integrity and a strong personality, so that the development of educational values, character and morals becomes essential in modern education. This is an important step in efforts to form individuals who are cultured, have noble character, and are able to face increasingly complex and dynamic changes in today's world. This research uses a qualitative methodology with a library research approach that utilizes theories related to research problems. Data was collected through literature studies, by reviewing books, articles, papers and relevant materials about the impact of education on personality formation. Primary data sources are written materials such as books, papers, and reference materials, while secondary sources are notes about library sources. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, which became the basis for writing this scientific work. This data collection and analysis method is used to investigate the relationship between education and character formation. The 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum have different approaches regarding character education. The 2013 curriculum integrates character in school subjects and activities, while the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes explicit character with a national focus. Even though they are different, both aim to form a strong generation. Unfortunately, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum without teacher consideration has confused especially older teachers, even though the formation of student character is basically similar: the 2013 Curriculum integrates character in subjects, while the Merdeka Curriculum gives schools flexibility in approaching character according to student needs.

Abstract

This research aims to implement integrated quality management in curriculum development at MAN 2 Bandung. Based on the results of a literature review and field observations, the link between integrated quality management and curriculum development at MAN 2 Bandung is very influential. The effect is seen from the relevance and review before the curriculum is made in integrated quality management, so that the institution will produce good output.

Abstract

In the administration of educational institutions, it is unquestionable that we should emulate the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The Prophet's effective guidance and leadership serve as a primary source of inspiration that can be implemented in the governance of Islamic educational establishments. This research employs a qualitative descriptive analysis methodology, utilizing a library research approach. The library approach emphasizes the collection of data through the examination of materials such as reference books, journals, and relevant teaching resources. Prophetic leadership entails self-control and genuine influence over others to achieve shared objectives, akin to the actions of the prophets. The existing leadership model in Islamic educational institutions falls short in providing comprehensive solutions, requiring enhancements and refinements. Nevertheless, genuine efforts are underway to instill Indonesian values within prophetic leadership. Overall, adopting prophetic leadership practices serves as a remedy for establishing a robust foundation in educational institution management. This ensures the consistent application of religious teachings and places significant emphasis on character development and the holistic growth of students.

Abstract

Increasing educational marketing must be improved continuously and sustainably. TQM or Total Quality Marketing is a marketing strategy aimed at instilling quality awareness in all processes within an organization ,the method and type of data collection is library research, where books, journals and previous research results are collected that support the research topic, including literature about (TQM). Total Quality Marketing (TQM) in Islamic educational institutions is the main key to maintaining and improving the quality of educational services. The application of the TQM concept provides a solid foundation for maintaining customer satisfaction, especially in the context of Islamic education which places educational success as integral to the formation of students' character and morals.
