Abstract

The outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic that has been present since around March 2019 presents a new policy in the learning process in schools, including in high schools. Learning shifts from face-to-face to online or online learning. Schools have their own policies for the selection of online media that will be used in online learning. One of the online media used is Microsoft Teams which was chosen by SMKN 2 Salatiga for online learning. This study aims to describe the conditions and strategies used in distance learning’s strategies (PJJ) by online learning In Islamic Religious Education at SMKN 2 SALATIGA. This study use a qualitative descriptive method through teachers and student’s interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this study indicate that, first, the PJJ’s planning on PAI subjects has been implemented through the making of RPP, training in Microsoft Teams applications and the provisions of infrastructure. Second, the  implementation and participation of students in PJJ on PAI at SMKN 2 SALATIGA’s subjects showed a high percentage. The implementation stages is done through the Microsoft Teams application. Third, the learning’s evaluation was conducted using Google Form media, Microsoft Teams and Moodle. Remedial activities are given only during UAS.

Abstract

The growth of advanced society gave birth to independent community groups. Therefore, social change needs to be anticipated so that people are not dictated by change and are able to act affirmatively. Madrasah as an Islamic educational institution is very important for Indonesia's future to contribute in building civil society. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively assimilate the madrasah strategy as an Islamic educational institution in building civil society. This is a qualitative research with a qualitative-naturalistic approach by collecting data from literature research as well as field research, the data obtained are then followed by stages, namely description, data reduction, data selection, data analysis, discussion, and conclusions. The results of the study showed the strategies of madrasah as Islamic Education institutions to build civil society, namely (1) Madrasah lays the most rational basis for taking internal and external steps by instilling moral law, unity in diversity, community-based social system, with the aim of improving the positive image of madrasah in the community. (2) The systemic role of madrasah realizes civil society with some program: first, organizing a school’s community service program (SKN) in the established target villages with the aim of appreciating the knowledge taught in madrasah to the community. second, the development of religious social skills, students will acquire life skills by carrying out various activities that have the spirit of Islam in the community: educating students to play an active role in society, introducing madrasah to the outside world in order to build a society that is democratic, religious, tolerance, independent and tough to face internal and global challenges towards civil society.

Abstract

Islamic education is an Islamic institution focusing on forming human beings who have noble traits, such as good personality and behaviors according to Al-Qur’an values as life dogma on theological, norms, cultural, social, political, and economic aspects as knowledgeable, mature, humanist, and virtuous human beings. The purpose of this research is to understand comprehensively how the internalization of Al-Qur’an values in the Islamic education system at State Islamic High School (MAN) of Semarang Regency, Central Java. The method used is qualitative. Meanwhile, the data were collected with observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data obtained in this study were then followed by stages, namely description, data reduction, data selection, data analysis, discussion, and conclusions. The results showed that, the internalization of Al-Qur’an values in the Islamic education system at MAN Semarang Regency, Central Java is to form the Al-Qur’an spirit. Consist in exemplary values (uswatun hasanah) in the framework of religious activities in Islamic boarding schools, discipline in various activities both in learning activities and in their dailylives, creating a conducive atmosphere in the school. Integration and internalization of Islamic values in the school coaching and problem solving for students, educators, and educational staff. While the efforts to internalize the Al-Qur’an values are, (1) The guidance conducted by the head of the madrasah regularly every Friday (2) the application of deliberation, fairness, honesty, and responsibility to the madrasah community (3) The enthusiasm of the madrasah community on implementing and obeying the madrasah regulations and avoiding detrimental actions. Madrasah as morality workshop emphasizes the habituation in behavior that illustrates the Al-Qur’an values and the goodness that students must have and become a habit of in their daily lives with a madrasah monitoring program involving various elements.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the right strategy in value education for the millennial generation. The research used is descriptive analytic, namely using the theories of experts about value education in the space of character formation. Those born in the 1980-2000 range are the millennial generation. This generation has characteristics like Existence, requires more attention, likes to have opinions, grows an image, adds insight, likes freedom, likes to personalize, relies on instant information speed (ready to serve), likes to learn, works in an innovative environment, actively collaborates, hyper technology, critical, confidence, connected, lazy, not deep, not grounded, or not sociable. The results of the study reveal slightly different strategies for teaching values ​​to the Millennial Generation including compassion, inculcating deeper values ​​of the Qur'an and Hadith, inculcating local wisdom values ​​and so on.

Abstract

The differences of views about Islam is single or plural impact on the debate on the use of terminology of Indonesia Islamic education. This debate on terminology actually arose among the Muslims who have more understanding about the conception of Islamic education. Therefore, this study aims to explore the attitudes of the academic community of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK) of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga against the use of Islamic education terminology in Indonesia, so as to know the views of respondents about Islam is single or plural. This research uses quantitative descriptive research type. The population of this study are students of the third semester and the fifth semester at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) at Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK) Salatiga as many as 1763 respondents. Researcher took 355 samples of respondents with cluster random sampling technique. Data collection use questioner method. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The data that has been collected then followed the stages of description, reduction, selection, discussion, analysis and conclusions. This research concluded that the majority of the academic community of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga were disagree with the terminology of Islamic education of Indonesia. They are more amenable to use the term Islamic education in Indonesia. This shows that the academic community of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK) of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga views that Islam as single rather than plural. The study also found that respondents who have more understanding about the conception of Islamic education who reject the terminology of Islamic education in Indonesia are greater than those who have less understanding of the conception of Islamic education. Therefore, it is suspected that there is a negative correlation between the level of understanding of the concept of Islamic education with plurality attitude.

Abstract

Morals in modern times are felt to be fading. So many people now study only oriented to the world's pleasures without caring about how Islam will be. With the existence of the Ta'alim Muta'alim book, it is hoped that it can help overcome moral decline, wrong intentions in seeking morals, wrong in finding teachers, and how we should choose friends in studying. The method used in further research is a qualitative research method that explains how the method from the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim instills morals in students. The results of the research are: Ta'lim Muta'alim by Syekh Alzarnuji is a book of morals that is very relevant and applied to instill morals in Pesantren students. Students are not only competent in theory but are required to have good morals and attitudes and be able to distinguish between good and evil. The intention is the first thing to pay attention to because seeking the pleasure of Allah and eliminating ignorance will result in studying knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the dual role played by PAI teachers in guiding students with problems, knowing the concrete efforts of activity programs carried out by PAI teachers in dealing with problematic students, knowing the cooperation between PAI teachers and homeroom teachers in helping students with problems because there are no BP teachers in this school. and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in dealing with troubled students at SD Islam al-Rasyid Pekanbaru. The research which was conducted for 3 months (October-December) used qualitative methods and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation at SD Islam al-Rasyid Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were school principals, PAI teachers, homeroom teachers, and students at SD Islam al-Rasyid Pekanbaru. The results of this study place the role of the PAI teacher as a religious teacher who should be admired and emulated and the role of the PAI teacher as a counseling teacher in providing guidance to problem students at SD Islam al-Rasyid Pekanbaru by implementing exemplary, habituation and advice methods. In addition, the factors that support Islamic Religious Education teachers in dealing with problem students are due to spiritual activities, while the inhibiting factor is the limited time that Islamic Religious Education teachers have in carrying out their duties to overcome student problems.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data is collected through documentation, observation and interviews. The data analysis technique researchers use is the flow model, which includes data reduction and conclusion. The subjects in this study are principals, teachers, and students, while the object of this study is the classroom teachers’ task to implement an independent curriculum. This study analyzes how the Islamic view relates to teachers’ tasks in implementing the Independent Curriculum. The results showed that SMP Negeri 3 Salatiga has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in grade 7. In implementing the independent curriculum, teachers serve as facilitators and carry out learning based on the principles of independent learning. The duties of teachers and the principles of learning in the Merdeka Curriculum are in accordance with Islamic teachings and have been explained in the Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

This research is intended to answer the following problems: 1) How is the application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral principles. 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral principles. 3) What are the advantages and disadvantages of the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral ethics. This research uses a type of field research research, namely field research conducted in madrasas. While the research approach that researchers use is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The source of the research is obtained through two different data, namely primary data and secondary data. In this thesis the author uses the theory of Miles and Huberman models to analyze data, namely through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The explicit instruction learning model is applied on an ongoing basis to students in the Aqeedah Akhlak subject by demonstrating it continuously so that students can realize the values ​​of character education that must be achieved. 2) The application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model is supported by the cohesiveness of the teacher in providing motivation and educating, and supporting activities outside of teaching and learning activities (habituation and extracurricular activities), but is hampered by disturbances of loss of concentration which often occurs in some students. 3) The advantages of the explicit instruction learning model occur in teachers who have time flexibility in conveying material or experiences that can build the noble character of students, but have the disadvantage that teachers are really required to master the material, be active and extra active, so that they can master the class well. maximum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan hasil analisis pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui aplikasi tatap muka dan Microsoft Teams di SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana penerapan model blended learning dan apa saja permasalahan yang dihadapi baik guru maupun siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan peneliti sebagai instrumen penelitian sekaligus pengumpul data. Objek penelitian adalah beberapa guru mata pelajaran PAI dan beberapa siswa kelas XII. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model blended learning memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Keunggulan model ini adalah mampu membantu siswa untuk dapat belajar mandiri tanpa bimbingan guru mata pelajaran secara langsung. Sedangkan kekurangannya adalah proses transfer ilmu yang kurang maksimal sehingga menyebabkan materi yang disampaikan tidak merata.
