Abstract

This community service develops the role of Boneka Jari in helping elementary school children in the Temanggung Kenyapi complex to improve their English vocabulary through understanding and memorizing. This PkM method uses the Service Learning methodology. Boneka Jari in the form of animals are used as tools that attract children's attention and help them understand English vocabulary related to animals. These dolls also facilitate the memorization process. During the service, the children were involved in learning sessions involving finger puppets. They interact with Boneka Jari and learn English vocabulary related to animals through dialogue and games. Children are given the opportunity to memorize vocabulary with the help of Boneka Jari. Evaluations show significant improvements in understanding and memorizing vocabulary, as well as increased confidence in using new vocabulary in everyday conversations. These findings indicate that the use of Boneka Jari is effective in helping children learn English vocabulary. This approach can be applied in various contexts and provides benefits in language development in the Temanggung Kenyapi complex and beyond.

Abstract

Banyaknya pelaku usaha UMKM di kecamatan Trangkil merupakan aset yang berharga untuk menggerakkan ekonomi daerah. Tetapi banyaknya pelaku usaha hanya sedikit yang mengetahui dan mendaftarkan produk usahanya untuk mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Pengabdian ini adalah literasi dan pendampingan sertifikasi halal gratis untuk meningkatkan daya saing usaha yang bertujuan meningkatnya kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya sertifikasi halal bagi Pelaku usaha untuk peningkatan daya saing serta pelaku usaha mengetahui pendampingan program sertifikasi halal gratis (sehati) dengan skema self-declare untuk UMKM. Metode yang digunakan ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Aset utamanya Pelaku usaha di desa Kertomulyo dan Guyangan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan antusias dari pelaku usaha dengan adanya ada 2 (dua) Pelaku usaha yang mendaftarkan usahanya untuk di sertifikasi halal gratis.

Abstract

The aim of teaching and learning assistance is to improve the quality of learning at Pelita Pertiwi in Kajar kindergarten as our main goal in assisting the learning process with the method of applying a scientific approach, designed in such a way that students actively construct learning concepts according to what they need, by carrying out teaching and learning activities. Using this method of applying a scientific approach can improve the quality of children's learning, from this learning children can carry out activities of observing, asking questions, gathering information, associating and communicating, this method can stimulate children to be more active and as a way of teaching children to be able to solve problems or problem solving. In implementing this scientific learning model, children are the center of learning (student centered approach), this means that students must be able to organize themselves and be able to participate in activities well through the media and learning resources provided, while the teacher is only a facilitator. Because the core objective of scientific learning is designed to activate the role of students from being accredited to accepting to becoming discoverers and communicating science based on the observations they produce. Abstract

Rarely getting achievements in the field of physics in the Madrasah Science Competition (KSM) since 2018, is a problem experienced by Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Muwahidun. Through KSM assistance activities in the field of physics with the Islamic Contextual Teaching and Learning (ICTL) approach, it is hoped that students' competitive attitudes and ability to solve problems will increase. In addition, students are able to achieve the highest rankings. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely: preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The preparatory stage carried out includes 1) analyzing the grid, looking for Qur'anic verses related to physics, 3) compiling teaching materials and selection questions, and 4) analyzing the previous year's physics KSM questions. The implementation phase carried out includes 1) student selection, 2) guidance activities, 3) trial tests, and 4) district-level KSM tests. The final stage is carried out by evaluating the process of the beginning to the end of the activity. The results obtained that after the mentoring activities, namely 1) competitive attitude and 2) the ability to solve questions owned by students has increased. In addition, the results of the district-level physics KSM test ranked 1st. This is supported by students understanding the meaning of Qur'anic verses and Islamic applications about science obtained from the subjects of Al Burhan, History of Islamic Progress, Fiqih, Ushul Fiqih, and Adab.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to create and foster a culture of writing literacy in elementary school students. The method applied is a mentoring method with an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The writing literacy assistance in this program focuses on two projects: wall magazines and student bulletins. Participants in this assistance and service were teachers and students at the Penggerak Elementary School (SD), Rejoagung Trangkil. The program of community assistance is divided into four activities which involves Training of Trainers (ToT), Writing Literacy Action Plan (RALMe), School Publication Plan (RPS), and Project Based Literacy Assistance in schools (PLBP). The results obtained were the realization of a project-based writing literacy program and the publication of wall magazines and bulletins at SD 01 Rejoagung.

Abstract

Abstract : The implementation of community service activities is motivated by the awareness and behavior of people who still do not care about environmental cleanliness. This PKM aims to provide education to the Bargot Topong community about waste management to reduce environmental pollution that occurs. The PKM method used is three stages, namely problem mapping, counseling and mentoring. The results of the activity show that before the PKM activity, the community did not know the types of household waste well, public awareness to protect the environment was still low. But after PKM activities were carried out, the community already understood the types of waste and how to classify waste based on the type of waste. As well as knowing the types of waste that can be recycled to produce organic fertilizer and can be used as skills that can be reused.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 or cyber physical system requires business actors to adapt and develop appropriate responses, including through product branding and digital marketing. This service aims to improve product branding and digital marketing for small and medium enterprises (SME) in Jepara Regency. The approach used is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), this approach is considered relevant for exploring existing SME assets. The results of this service show; First, SME actors are committed to and implement the results of the training by utilizing updated promotional content, logos and sales pages. Second, the implementation of the entire training program that has been scheduled which targets business product development through product branding and digital marketing strategies has succeeded in improving product owners from branding and digital marketing aspects as a response to SME in the cyber physical system era. On an ongoing basis, this program can be used to expand target markets and increase sales and the economy of SME in Jepara Regency.
