Abstract

The Quran is a source of standard rules which guide Muslims in navigating the ark of life. The Koran functions as a filter so that humans do not fall into the valley of disgrace. When reading the Quran, the pronunciation must be clear and precise so that there are no wrong interpretations. Therefore, learning the Quran requires special methods, one of which is the peer teaching method. Apart from that, it also requires persistence and thoroughness, under the supervision of a teacher. Responding to this challenge, SMPIT Pesantren Qur'an Kayuwalang held a community service program teaching btq at 9 strategic locations, one of which was in Persil RW 06 Harapan Mulya village, Karya Mulya sub-district, Kesambi sub-district, Cirebon city. The program aims to eradicate Quran illiteracy. This research focuses on writing letters, pronouncing makhroj and tahsin. This research involved 12 students and 2 tutors using qualitative methods and approaches. With observation results ≥ 80% of students experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes. This is proven by the increase in posttest scores so it can be concluded that teaching reading and writing the Quran using the peer teaching method is able to increase student enthusiasm and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This community service activity is carried out with the main background so that the people of Bulu village, Batang district, can maximize the land where they live, especially with aquaponic-based agricultural activities. Thus, this service activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in making aquaponic media and being able to carry out aquaponic farming. The service method is carried out by providing training and outreach in collaboration with the Bulu village PKK team. The target objects were housewives in Bulu village. In general, the activity went well where the participation and enthusiasm of the participants who took part in this activity was very good as seen from the many questions asked so that the discussion could run actively. The impact of this training activity is that it can increase participants' knowledge and skills in making aquaponic media and using it in aquaponic farming so that it can provide more profitable harvest results.

Abstract

The aim of this assistance is to improve understanding and skills for students who have difficulty learning mathematics, especially in the material "Equations of Lines Through Two Points". The implementation of this community service research follows the activities of carrying out action research which consists of preparation or planning, implementation or evaluation. Mentoring was carried out at MTs S Modern Arafah for class VIII C students regarding the equation of a line through two points. Mentoring is carried out by 3 mentors, each mentor accompanies 2 students who are experiencing difficulties in learning mathematics. The results of mentoring show that students feel helped and can have a positive impact. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of students who always ask about the material and steps to solve problems that students don't understand so that it can foster students' enthusiasm for learning in mathematics learning.

Abstract

The characteristics of residents in housing tend to be individualism where they view all activities as being carried out by their own abilities without seeing social social as part of life. The purpose of this service is to apply marhabanan activities in fostering the solidarity attitude of the housing community, which is generally individualistic. which is generally Individualism, this service was carried out at Perum Pelangi, Cirebon Regency for 1 month and 12 days. The results of this service-based research show that individualism can be minimised through marhabanan activities by cooperating with each resident continuously. marhabanan activities that have been running lead to good social solidarity, this can be seen from the mutual activity. social solidarity, this can be seen from mutual cooperation in various programmes related to religion and the environment. programmes related to religion and the neighbourhood, and economic solidarity can be seen from the increasing number of users of services and products. economic solidarity can be seen from the increasing number of users of the services and products of the surrounding community housing

Abstract

This study discusses reading Surah Al-Kahf on Friday nights or Fridays routinely as part of the One Day One Juz (ODOJ) community in Dewan Pengurus Area (DPA) Sumedang. This routinely specifically as application of the Living Quran concept in which the Quran is alive, both by its dynamic and active recitations and application of the words and commands of the Quran in daily life. This research used a qualitative and descriptive methodology by directly observing and questioning to the leaders and members of the ODOJ in DPA Sumedang. The findings reveal that often reading Surah Al-Kahf on Friday nights or Fridays makes their spiritual sense high, and prove their support for each other by implementing various community activities. It is because by the Sa’id al-Khudri hadith narration that those who often read Surah Al-Kahf on Friday nights or Fridays will be given a light between the two Friday nights. Meanwhile, this routine also will improve the social cohesion and make the community more serious in learning to practice Islamic teachings.
