Abstract

Financial crisis is a danger that always haunts financial stability of every country. Islamic finance as the new comer also gets into this trouble. Fortunately, Islamic finance system is stronger than conventional facing the crisis. This strong may come from its principles that support it. This paper uses a library research to examine the PLS system and it benefits to financial stability. The finds of this paper are Islamic financial system is more stable than conventional one, and  PLS system can be used as the early warning of financial crisis.

Abstract

Market share of Islamic banking in Indonesia is considered still small when compared to other majority Muslim countries. Currently the Indonesian sharia banking market share is only around 5.7 percent. But so far, the form of support from the Government to strengthen the role of Islamic education institutions in the utilization of Islamic banking in Indonesia is still very minimal. Therefore, this paper will reveal the potential of Islamic education institutions in developing Islamic banking in Indonesia. With the library method, an in-depth study of the topics discussed is conducted. The results of his discussion that the number of PTKIN in Indonesia as many as 58 PTKIN spread throughout Indonesia both UIN, IAIN, and STAIN. To increase the rate of development of Islamic banking, namely the Political Will Government to provide great support in the field of cooperation in Islamic Education Institutions with Islamic banking as a service used for payment traffic and community Break Up Trust towards Islamic banking by directing students especially to become sharia banking customers.

Abstract

Income and social environment are factors that can influence purchasing decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of income and social environment on purchasing decisions in taqsith. This type of research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 66 people. The data analysis method uses multiple linear analysis with the help of SPSS. From the results of the T Test and F Test show that partially income variables significantly influence the purchase decision taqsith with a probability value (Sig) 0.017 < (α) 0.05. Social environment variables also have a significant effect on taqsith purchasing decisions with a probability value (Sig) 0.033 < (α) 0.05. Simultaneously income and social environment significantly influence the purchase decision in taqsith and this can be seen from the probability value (Sig) 0,000 < (α) 0.05.

Abstract

Financing is one of the main functions of Islamic banking. In its operational activities, Islamic banking channel most of its assets into financing. However, the financing trend in this sector always fluctuates from year to year and tends to decline. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the financing of the business services sector in Islamic banking in Indonesia. This study uses time-series data which is the monthly data of the aggregate financial statements of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units in Indonesia. The analysis method used in this study is Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). The results showed that the variables that influence the financing of the business services sector in the short term are third party funds (DPK), equivalent rate of financing (ERP) and Industrial Production Index (IPI). Whereas in the long run, the variables that influence the financing of the business services sector are third party funds (DPK), return on assets (ROA), non-performance financing (NPF), Industrial Production Index (IPI). While the variable interest rates and exchange rates both in the short and long term do not affect the financing of the business services sector.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the perspective of Islamic economics about the mechanism of selling products without an expiration date on the Home Industry Bread Hidayah in the Edge of the City of Bengkulu Hybrids. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques by means of literature studies and interviews. Data analysis starts with a data reduction display and conclusion. This study concludes that the practice of selling products without an expiry date conducted by the owner of the home industry Roti Hidayah in the Edge of the City of Bengkulu Hybrids has not applied the principle of justice to consumers, namely by not including the expiration date of its business products.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss monetary policy in Indonesia, namely Open Market Operations (OPT) on Islamic economics perspective. OPT known as the monetary instrument, which most often used to achieve policy objectives. In general, monetary targets aimed to stimulate the economic growth and inflation stabilization. OPT’s policy products included Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBI), Sharia Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBIS), Bank Indonesia Wadiah Certificates (SWBI), Government Securities (SUN), Sukuk, Private Bonds, Rupiah Interventions (IR), and Loan Facilities Bank Indonesia (FASBI) which is traded on the money market; the primary market and the secondary market with an auction system. Currently, All OPT products based on fiat money. The buy and sell system of OPT products uses a discount system and interest rates. Money plays an important role in the economy, so the policy of monetary contraction and expansion of the amount of money circulating in society will affect the velocity of money. With a descriptive analysis, this article analyzes the role of fiat money from the perspective of Islamic economics. This article argues that the three schools of thought in Islamic economics agree that the function of money used as a means of transaction, investment, and precaution. As an exchange style, money unable to be used as a means of future speculation. Thus, the Islamic economy views that underlying of Islamic monetary policy based on the productivity of the real sector and oriented to the welfare of society.

Abstract

Efforts made by the Indonesian government to meet the budget deficit by issuing stimulus policy packages from within the country and abroad. An overseas stimulus package is financing through foreign debt. Indonesia has been practicing foreign debt since before the pre-independence period, the Soekarno government regime, Suharto until the Jokowi regime. The amount of foreign debt until October 2018, USD 310.839 billion. If the state does not have the ability to repay debt, the country's economy will be disrupted. The amount of installments on loan principal and interest has an impact on the burden of the state budget, which will be borne by the community through tax collection. This study aims to compare indicators of the application of foreign debt based on Islamic economic perspectives and the results of field research. This study uses a type of qualitative approach to explain the phenomena that occur. The results of the study show that there are deviations between indicators of foreign debt based on economic perspectives and field research.

Abstract

Religiosity in every researchs admitted has related with economic behaviour. Wich related to others or personally. This research discuss about the relevance of religiosity to consumption behaviour, using library research. From this research can be concluded that religiosity will affect consumption behaviour, one of them is consumer behaviour. The more religiosity, then the consumption behaviour applied is the more advantages and the good consumption behaviour.

Abstract

As an effort to create a community of civilization, pesantren is required to take an active role in the life of society universally, not only tafaqquh fi dien but also trying to create a buffer of pesantren independence one of which is a cooperation of pondok pesantren (kopontren)  a guaranteed survival of the pesantren's lifetime. Since 90 years ago Gontor has become a pioneer in inspiring pesantren to be independent at Indonesia, the step begins with developing an economic enterprise independently. This article is trying to examine the concept of kopontren which is not same as the cooperations in general, from that concept the strategy of economic independence of pesantren will be revealed. By using case study research in Kopontren Gontor with data collection is triangulation method, finally this article found that the kopontren as the only center of economic activity, the kopontren become place for cadre development and entrepreneurship training for santri, and the kopontren have been able to improve economic prosperity of society around pesantren

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss how the Role and Responsibilities of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) Against the Syariah Prosperous Bank (SRB) of the Yogyakarta Prosperous Fund. This type of research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of research is on the SRB in Yogyakarta. The data collection techniques include observation, interview and documentation. While the data analysis technique, researchers conducted a qualitative analysis by describing the results of field observations, observations and documentation. From the results of the study obtained the answer that the supervision carried out by the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) of the Syariah Prosperous Credit Bank (SRB) Yogyakarta Prosperous Fund is not yet fully maximized. In fact, only a small proportion of them have really conducted good supervision. The DPS's awareness of their responsibilities is still not fully realized, which in the end the DPS's participation in the Bank's daily activities cannot be done, even the DPS's arrival to the BPRS to conduct supervision is also very rarely done.
