Abstract

Economic system of Islam is inseparable from banks and financial institutions. The financial institution is an identity in the economic system and is an instrument that applies the rules in the economic system itself. Though banking kovensional has become a major part in the running of the wheel of the economy but there are still many among the scholars stated that interest earned from banking activities not in accordance with Islamic teachings. In line with that of the last emerging financial institutions in the economic concept known as the Islamic banking Shariah, but in fact the users of banking services, as well as many of the Shari'a to non-Muslims. The financial institution is the main part of the financial system in a modern economy that serves the community of financial services users. With the help of financial institutions the businessmen can do a large amount of financial transactions that are not possible in cash.

Abstract

Financial crisis is a danger that always haunts financial stability of every country. Islamic finance as the new comer also gets into this trouble. Fortunately, Islamic finance system is stronger than conventional facing the crisis. This strong may come from its principles that support it. This paper uses a library research to examine the PLS system and it benefits to financial stability. The finds of this paper are Islamic financial system is more stable than conventional one, and  PLS system can be used as the early warning of financial crisis.

Abstract

:  Islamization of science is a very important study, it appears in the middle of the Muslim community who lost their identity longer. The idea of Islamization of science was first raised by al-Faruqi when meeting The International Institute of Islamic Thought in Washington in 1981. The Islamization of science in this paper begins with the definition of science, followed by the characteristics of science, the process of knowledge, and the process of Islamization of science knowledge. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research using primary data that is book written by Al Attas, Al Faruqi, and secondary data that is from book, journal, supporting article. The results of this discussion indicate that science comes from qouliyah and kauniyah verses. To save the Muslims from wersternisasi then the Islamization of science should be disseminated to the community, especially among the Muslim educated

Abstract

High number of non performing financing (NPF) has a negative impact on Islamic Microfinance (BMT), that problems affect to financial performance in low condition, liquidity problems, as well as difficulties in covering operational costs, difficulties to payback financial obligations, and BMT will eventually losses then will be converted by reducing the amount of capital. That things will be resulting in the threat of sustainability. The aims of this study, are explain the strategies used by BMT`s in Jepara to solve their NPF. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, this research used purposive sampling, the criteria is the key person in carrying out steps to resolve NPF in their institutions. The research finding is, there are strategies to overcome the problems of high NPF. The strategy used by 2 models, first preventive action in the form of forming strong financing organs and carrying out effective financing analysis second curative action after the financing is disbursed (1) Customer Nurturing (2) Rescheduling, (3) Reconditioning, (4) Restructuring, (5) Collateral Confiscation through litigation and non-litigation. Other findings is (6) The strategy as solution through the organizational path that became afiliation of the KSPPS BMT.

Abstract

This research is used to predict early bankruptcy in the health of financial performance in the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia using the Fulmer method. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is the regression of the panel data. The samples used in this study are 14 Islamic commercial banks that have been registered with Bank Indonesia. The sampling technique uses the purposive sampling method because researchers determine certain criteria for Islamic commercial banks that have published their financial statements. The data used by researchers is secondary data which means using data collected in the form of financial statements. The results of this study showed the value of R square 0.998771 means that 99% prediction on the variable Fulmer method can explain the level of health of the financial performance of sharia commercial banks. In addition, the results of this study also showed that simultaneous and partial variables of Fulmer methods had a significant positive effect on bankruptcy in Islamic commercial banks.

Abstract

This article discusses the position of the Board of Arbitration Muamalat Indonesia (BAMUI) in Indonesian positive law and political laws of Indonesia. When a business is experiencing a dispute while the company has no strong legitimacy, it is possible that the dispute can not be resolved. The existence of Muamalat Indonesia Arbitration Board has a legal basis and enables other institutions outside the judiciary to be a referee / judge in the settlement of disputes by the parties, it can be seen from the provisions of law No. 14 1970 article 3, paragraph 1 of Law No. 20 in 1999. This arbitration regulation is a solution step in the economy worldto reduce the accumulated burden of the dispute submitted to the court. The political side of Islamic law which is reflected in Act No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration is an alternative dispute resolution instrument so that it ease the burden on the courts. The arbitration itself is a solution that also ever happened in the time of Caliph ‘Ali bin AbiTalib. So it can be said that the enactment of this arbitration regulation is a step forward to reduce the accumulated burden of the dispute submitted to the court.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to explain the business opportunities and challenges of the halal industry in Indonesia for HalalpreneursDesign/methodology: This qualitative research has used a literature review approach and adopts a content analysis methodologyFindings: The findings of this literature review show that the primary goal of a Halalpreneur is to achieve happiness in ad-daraini. Synonyms for the term Halalpreneur are Islamicpreneur, Shariapreneur, and Muslimpreneur. The substantive meaning of these terms is the same. Everything has the same essence as Halalpreneur. The opportunity and potential of the Indonesian state compared to other countries in developing the Islamic economy are strengthening the halal industry sectorPractical implications: The empirical implication of this research is to describe the halal industrial business still has the opportunity to become an alternative to Halalpreneur, such as Islamic tour travel, Islamic fashion, halal cosmetics, halal culinary, halal spa, and Sharia online motorcycle taxi services. The challenge facing the Indonesian nation today is the need for Halalpreneurs. The challenge ahead for the Indonesian people is the need to play a more active role in the halal industry. Another challenge is their need for more participation in advancing entrepreneurial activities at the micro and macro levels. These implications provide a clear roadmap for potential Halalpreneurs in Indonesia. Abstract

The application of accountability and transparency in published financial reports is very important for society so that people are able to assess the financial performance of zakat institutions in collecting, managing and distributing zakat funds. The aim of this research is to measure and analyze the level of efficiency and capacity of BAZNAS financial performance in Bengkulu Province using International Standard Zakat Management (ISZM) method. The research method used is a quantitative method with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are by taking financial report data on the BAZNAS Bengkulu Province website. The types of data from this research consist of primary data and secondary data. Secondary data in this research is a type of time series data using a time span of 1 year, namely 2022. Secondary data collection techniques are obtained through various sources such as reports, books, journal articles, websites related to the research object.

Abstract

Islamic banking has a role as an intermediary institution that is an intermediary between savers and investors and banks to function as an agent of development. In funds, Islamic banks must provide the requirements that must be met by the customer (debtor), one of which is the guarantee and in the event of late payment by the customer, will be fined. However, in reality there are many financing that does not run smoothly. Islamic bank collateral position is as an application of the precautionary principle and the prudential banking bank or a fine position in Islamic banks are based on the principle ta'zir which aims to enable customers to be more disciplined in carrying out its obligations. Abstract

The assets growth rate is influenced by several factors, namely internal factors and external factors. By considering these factors, Muamalat Syariah Financing Bank (SFB) Harkat Bengkulu has a strategy so that can always increase from year to year. The strategy used is to develop market share in the form of multi-purpose financing. The problem in this study is, are there any factors that influence the asset growth rate in Muamalat Harkat SFB Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency and what factors influence the assets growth rate in Muamalat Harkat SFB Sukaraja District, Seluma Regency. This study uses qualitative data and uses observation, interviews and documentation as data collection instruments. The results of this study indicate that in increasing asset growth, there are internal factors that consist of employee job performance, job spirits, job discipline, SOP, inspection from Financial Services Authority (FSA/OJK) and internal audit. While the external factors consist of the level of public trust that has begun to grow in the form of savings or deposits, financing, and inspection from external audits.
