Abstract

Presence of lectures is an important factors to take the final exam. It is necessary to have a presence system with computer vision technology that is capable to handling problems manually. Computer vision technology used is face detection and recognition in order to monitor attendance data system. The face detection process in this study uses the Viola-Jones algorithm, and this algorithm has four stages, namely Haar Like Feature, Integral Image, Adaboost learning and Cascade classifier. The results of this study Viola-Jones algorithm successfully applied to the face detection process and in the face recognition process using the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) method with an accuracy rate of 94.79%.

Abstract

The Internet has become a necessity for modern society in carrying out its various activities today .The rapid increase in Internet users from year to year shows that people's need for the Internet is increasing .In Indonesia, Internet user growth is predicted to increase by 10.2 percent annually from 2018 to 2023.However, the growth in the number of customers is often not followed by the ability of Internet providers to improve maintenance facilities to maintain the quality of service to their customers .One of the causes is the limitations of the device which is often an obstacle for technicians to do maintenance as soon as possible. This research aims to be able to design and build devices that can be applied as a means of measuring network quality more simply and economically so as to support the mobility of technicians to use and maintain their networks .The devices built on the study are based on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Comparison of device performance measurement results such as battery life, ping, upload and download rate between devices built with laptop usage gives almost the same results. This built lifter has advantages on the side of smaller and lighter dimensions and a much more economical cost.

Abstract

Abstract— The trend for consumption fish consumption continues to increase rapidly, even the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), says fish cultivation output is expected to increase by around 172 million tonnes in 2021. Therefore efforts are needed to increase national catfish production. New methods of cultivating catfish have emerged, one of which is the method of cultivating catfish in drums. However, there are still many catfish breeders in drums in Indonesia who still use conventional methods which are no longer effective, because many catfish seeds die before maturity, this is due, among other things, to unscheduled feeding and the amount of feed weight that is inaccurate with the amount and the age of the fish in a drum which causes the growth of catfish to be less than optimal. Based on these problems, it is encouraging to develop a tool that can control and monitor fish feeding schedules and the total weight of fish feed according to the number and age of fish in one drum based on a microcontroller by utilizing the fuzzy logic method which can facilitate the process of reasoning in language. (linguistic reasoning), and only by means of a smartphone, farmers can set feeding schedules and choose the number of fish and the age of the fish in a drum. The result is that the tool is able to provide feed according to the feed schedule with an error rate of 0%, and the tool can provide feed according to the feed dosage with an accuracy of up to 98.9% with an average accuracy of 96.09%. Abstract

Abstract— English Private lessons institutes are now widely facilitates a person to develop English skills in speaking and writing. Currently the service users private lessons English book private lessons manually, that is by coming directly to the place as well as through the telephone service, but with the operator even then still have difficulties in user validation that requires a long time. To facilitate the user in terms of the reservation, then the system will be built based on web and Android. Development of private lessons reservation application built with PHP and Java programming language using CodeIgniter framework on the web side , while on the Android using Eclipse tools , and MySQL as database storage media . Applications reservation private lessons has several functions to make a reservation time and tutor can be done by the student of Easyspeak and on the side of the tutor application can provide information about the student will be taught , as well as on the side of the operator to provide ease in setting booking private lessons because it computerized not manually as before. Applications reservation private lessons are also equipped with a reminder or reminders are made on the side of Android apps , using alarmmanager system.DOI:  10.24843/MITE.1501.14

Abstract

Pengopersian beban-beban listrik non-linier akan mengakibatkan terjadinya distorsi pada bentuk gelombang arus dan tegangan. Ketidakseimbangan beban pada sistem tenaga listrik akan berpengaruh pada prosentase harmonisa dan nilai arus netral (IN) yang mengalir pada kawat netral sistem tersebut.. Analisa sistem pada penelitian ini menggunakan program simulink MATLAB. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada kondisi beban seimbang dengan beban linier, nilai arus netralnya adalah 0. Pada kondisi beban tak seimbang dengan beban linier nilai arus netralnya adalah 45,76 A. Pada kondisi beban seimbang dengan beban non linier nilai arus netralnya 61,62 A dengan prosentase THDv pada fasa R 1,49% ; S 1,47% ; T 1,48% dan THDi pada fasa R 16,38% ; S 16,31% ; T 16,19%. Pada kondisi beban tak seimbang dengan beban non linier terjadi peningkatan arus netral dan THD yaitu nilai arus netral 65,5 A dengan prosentase THDv pada fasa R 1,61% ; S 1,49% ; T 1,46% dan THDi pada fasa R 18,47% ; S 16,57% ; T 15,84%.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of energy potential, both conventional (Non Renewable) and Renewable Energy. Energy potential that is mostly used for the Indonesian region still uses conventional energy (Non Renewable) in the form of fossil fuels (coal, natural gas and petroleum). At present, fossil energy use reaches 75% and will continue to increase. To avoid the use of fossil energy, studies are carried out on renewable energy (Non Renewable) for example Micro Hydro. The working principle of the Micro Hydro Power Plant use the potential energy of water which is converted into electrical energy. In this final project research has been made modeling of micro hydro power plants using screw turbines (Archimedean Screw) with tubrine blade angle variations ranging from 240, 260,280,300 and 320. The measurements made in this study include measurement of turbine rotation, generator rotation, voltage, current and torque generated in the modeling that has been made. From the measurements that have been made using a lamp load of 25 Watts the highest measurement results are obtained at an angle of 280. At an angle of 280 produces a power of 10.8 Watts, torque of 0.33 Nm and efficiency of 11.6%.

Abstract

Abstract—New applications based on advanced technology was created in order to accelerate and facilitate human performance in doing things in different fields. One of them in the field of digital image processing are generally used in the process of pattern recognition. Various applications can be built using pattern recognition techniques in digital image processing one of them in the parking system. Goals and benefits in this final project is to develop license plate recognition system using Histogram as segmentation function, Principal Component Analysis method as extraction function and Euclidean Distance methods as the classification of characters. The results of the simulation performance of the vehicle license plate character recognition is at 77.90% for the percentage of correctly identified all 27 characters and at 22.10% to the percentage of false identified.

Abstract

Untuk mengoptimalkan pengukuran keluaran dari panel solar cell maka diperlukan rancang bangun sistem nirkabel data logger berbasis visual pada solar cell yang merupakan suatu sistem untuk mempermudah pengukuran, pembacaan serta pengkomunikasian data dalam membaca energi listrik yang dikeluarkan pada solar cell. Rancang sistem ini memiliki dua buah sub sistem, sub sistem pertama adalah perancangan perangkat keras berupa perancangan perangkat elektronik sistem data logger yang dilengkapi dengan SD card sebagai back up data, kemudian sensor arus dan sensor tegangan sebagai pembaca keluaran energi listrik pada solar cell. Sub sistem kedua adalah perancangan perangkat lunak software pada data logger dan perancangan software pada visual basic sebagai pembacaan dalam pengirim data. Hasil pembacaan sistem ini menunjukkan persentase perbedaan nilai arus dengan amperemeter sebesar 2.6% dan persentase perbedaan nilai tegangan dengan voltmeter sebesar 0.33% dengan standarisasi IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) alat ukur amperemeter ±3.2% dan voltmeter ±2.5%. Sistem ini juga menyimpan hasil pengukuran pada database dan SD card data logger secara otomatis setiap 15 menit dengan interval pembacaan menimal 1 menit dan hasil pembacaan yang disimpan berupa data tanggal, nilai arus, nilai tegangan dan daya

Abstract

Along with technological developments, implementing network computers can use network simulators. The use of network simulators that are often used, one of which is the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and the operating system provided by the user because the operating system used comes from the original operating system of the network device. Rapid development of data needs encourages people to exchange information with one another through one network. Data communication is done through sending data packets between networks based on internet protocol (IP) addresses. IP is divided into two, namely IPV4 and IPV6 in the process of sending data assisted by a router. In this study, the analyst will focus on routing protocol performance using IPV6 by paying attention to several parameters such as delay, packet loss, throughput and conversion time. Based on the results of the study, OSPF is better than EIGRP in the value of delay and throughput, which is 2- 15%. EIGRP is better when the connection is down, which is 45 - 52%. EIGRP has a faster convergence time than OSPF which is 2 - 6 seconds while OSPF is 8-10 seconds.

Abstract

Australia is one of the countries with the highest solar PV capacity in the world. The capacity of solar PV installed in Australia has reached 16,319 MW and 600 W per capita at the end of 2019, making Australia the country with the highest per-capita capacity in the world. The Australian Government has established policies, regulations, and budgets as commitments to support the achievement of the solar PV capacity. This paper reviews and analyzes policies, regulations, and funds in Australia from federal to state levels on the side of solar PV development. Analysis showed that policies and regulations supported by the suitability of the government budget have a consequential effect on increasing the capacity of solar PV to implement and realize renewable energy targets in Australia. Several policies aforementioned as Feed-in Tariff, RET, NSSP, and budgets that focus on R&D have a significant impact on increasing the capacity of solar PV installed. Thus, realistic targets that are phased in, structured policy and regulatory support, budget compliance, and continuous education to the public are essential aspects that could be adopted in Indonesia to accelerate the realization of the national solar PV capacity target.
