Abstract

Penyulang Abang merupakan penyulang dengan konfigurasi sistem distribusi tipe radial dengan suplai tenaga listrik dari GI Amlapura dan PLTS Karangasem. Gangguan hubung singkat pada penyulang dapat menyebabkan kedip tegangan yang akan dirasakan oleh pelanggan yang disuplai dari transformator yang sama. Titik lokasi gangguan untuk analisis perhitungan kedip tegangan diasumsikan 25%,50%,75%, dan 100% dari panjang penyulang Abang. Simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan menggunakan dynamic voltage restore yang terpasang pada salah satu beban dalam program Matlab-Simulink. Hasil perhitungan kedip tegangan 1 fasa ke tanah adalah sebesar 114 V, 169 V, 229 V, 287 V sedangkan perhitungan kedip tegangan 3 fasa adalah sebesar 98 V, 194 V, 279 V, 376 V. Hasil simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan 1 fasa ke tanah dengan dynamic voltage restorer dapat memulihkan tegangan sebesar 0,2053 pu dengan waktu pemulihan 0,01 s. Simulasi pemulihan kedip tegangan 3 fasa dengan dynamic voltage restorer dapat memulihkan fasa A sebesar 0,0736 pu, fasa B sebesar 0,0507 pu dan fasa C sebesar 0,0866 pu dengan waktu pemulihan 0,01 s.

Abstract

Crossflow turbine is a type of turbine that often used as a prime mover in MHP system. thistype of turbine has an advantage witch can be applied in low head with high water discharge. Theoutput power from this turbine is effected by the number of blades that installed on the tubine runner.The aim of this study is to hold an experimental study of the number of blade that used on crossflowturbine to get the maximum output power. The number of blade that used is 10, 14, 18, 22, and 26blades. Where from the result of calculations, it is found that turbine with number of blades 18 hasthe higest efficiency with a value of 8,52%.

Abstract

Audit Energi merupakan cara yang digunakan untuk mengetahui penggunaan energi pada bangunan gedung serta mengetahui langkah langkah penghematanya. Pada penelitian ini audit dilakukan pada hotel Sun Island yang terletak di Jalan Kartika Plaza, Kuta Bali, Kabupaten Badung. Audit awal didapat bahwa tingkat Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) pada Hotel Sun Island Bali memiliki konsumsi energi listrik rata-rata 4.1 kWh/m2/bulan. IKE standar, berdasarkan ESDM No 13/2012 IKEuntuk bangunan gedung ber AC sangat efisien yaitu < 8 kWh/m2/bulan. Dari hasil penelitian,dengan melakukan penggantian lampu dan penggantian kapasitas AC berdasarkan teori didapatkan nilai IKE pada hotel Sun Island sebesar 3,1 kWh/meter2/ bulan.Sehingga terjadi penghematan konsumsi energi sebesar 1 kWh/meter2/bulan dan Pembayaran energi listrik dapat di hemat sebesar Rp17.700.497, - setiap bulannya atau rata rata pengehematan setiap bulanya sebesar 49 %.

Abstract

Melia Bali-Indonesia Hotel is the first hotel of Sol Melia's management, which subsequently becomes the Bali Sol Hotel. This hotel was supplied from transformer 1 of the Melia Bali Hotel via MDP1 with 9 SDPs, with priority to supply electricity to rooms and villas. Based on the measurement results obtained currents: at each phase namely: phase R = 456 A, phase S = 445 A, phase T = 412 A and power factor of 0,84. A power factor of less than 0,85, based on the determination of an electric power tariff adjustment from PT PLN, may be subject to excess reactive power usage fees (Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 of 2016). Based on these data, an analysis of the installation of capacitors was carried out to increase the power factor in transformer 1 of Melia Bali Sol. The method used is to use simulation modeling with ETAP. Based on the results of the analysis of the installation of capacitors can increase the power factor by 11% to 0,95, already exceeding the minimum average power factor determined by the PLN electricity tariff adjustment. In addition, the load current decreased 12% from 442.3 A to 389.5 A.

Abstract

Protected forest areas have the main function of protecting life support systems. The protected forest area of ??Ekasari Jembrana Bali has an area of ??1.603 hectares. In the Ekasari protected forest there are many illegal logging actions. In 2020 there were two cases of wood theft. The types of wood stolen were reed and rosewood. In addition to these two cases, in 2018 to 2019 there were more than 10 cases of illegal logging that occurred, it is necessary to have a tool that is able to detect the occurrence of illegal logging in protected forests. The working system of this tool uses a Pi NoIR camera module to take pictures and a sound sensor FC-04 to detect the sound of a chainsaw with a value of 55 dB. This tool uses a Raspberry Pi microcontroller which functions to receive and process data, so that it is able to display warnings on websites and telegram applications. This tool has a detection range of 1,1304 hectares, so 1.418 tools are needed in the entire protected forest area of ??Ekasari Jembrana Bali.

Abstract

In the process of electrical power distribution, various types of interference can occur so that a protection system is needed to maintain the continuity and stability of electrical power distribution. Arrester is one of the main protection systems used to protect electrical equipment against overvoltages caused by lightning strikes. Penyulang Sulahan is a 20kV medium voltage distribution system that gets power supplies from Gianyar Substation 1/60 MVA and is located on a plateau that is prone to natural phenomena such as lightning. During 2016 there were three times the failure of conventional arresters. Based on these data, it is necessary to analyze the failure of arresters at Penyulang Sulahan so that the continuity of electricity can be better. The method used in this study is to collect data in the form of single line diagrams, disturbance data, and large grounding resistance on Sulahan Feeders. Next, compare Metal Oxide Arrester with Multi Chamber Arrester. The results obtained were grounding in the Feeder over 5 ohms which caused conventional arrester to not work properly. Multi Chamber Arrester is an arrester that has no effect on the value of grounding resistance. After installing the Multi Chamber Arrester, failure of arresters has decreased to one failure during 2017

Abstract

Utilization of sunlight as a source of renewable electrical energy by using photovoltaic (PV) has been done by many public and private agencies. One of them is Badung Regency Government. Power source for Main Street Lighting (LPJU) with the number of lamp posts 305 installed along the road By Pass I Gusti Ngurah Rai. This study analyzed the effect of position change on the efficiency of LPJU solar panel. The simulation of this research using PVSyst software and compared with real measurement result to get the position of solar cell that can produce optimal output power and better efficiency value. The result of comparison of rill measurement with PVSyst simulation, in zone 1 obtained maximum energy generation of 60,42 kWh, 186,40 kWh, at zone 2 equal to 72,54 kWh, 186,40 kWh, at zone 3 equal to 33,97 kWh, 186.40 kWh, in zone 4 of 61.52 kWh, 186.40 kWh. The PVSyst simulation results show that the solar cell output power is higher than the rear measurement in different directions and the efisiesin value obtained is better than the previous rill measurement.

Abstract

The increasing. use of non-linear loads can make. harmonic distortion in the current andvoltage waves so that it can reduce the. reliability and quality of the. power system. Non-linearloads that are often used are induction motors, consequently the use of induction. motors willhave an impact on the high harmonics. of the system. The impact. of these harmonics can bereduced by using a. hybrid filter. The method used is. direct measurement of the object understudy in the form. of current data, motor rotation and 3 induction motor THDi. This researchuses a Simulink-based simulation. which aims to reduce the. harmonic content in. the networkand to see the effect of harmonics. on the performance of the. 3-phase induction motor onrotation and torque. The. results of the. analysis show. that the hybrid filter. can. reduce theharmonic content in the network. The decrease that occurs in THDi is 11.96% in the R phase,11.95% in the S. phase and 11.96% in the T phase with a load of 3 motors. Using hybrid powerfilter is able to make the motor rotation stable at 0.17 s. However, the rotation. of the. inductionmotor remains at. 1498 rpm and a torque of 0.4682 Nm.

Abstract

Along with the increase in technology and knowledge, this increase in the field ofelectric power systems makes the electric power system very developed. Electric motors havevery important benefits in industry. In the operation of the electric machine, it is declared goodwhen viewed from the performance of the motor. The purpose of this research is to find outwhat is the influence of the rotation of a 3-phase induction motor when setting the frequency onthe speed and torque of VSD, as well as the effect of frequency on the amount of torque. Themethod used in this study is to take the rotational speed data measured by VSD and thencompare it with the results of the analysis of the speed and torque calculations. The results ofthe study based on the frequency setting on the VSD Display at PT.PDAM Tirta MangutamaBelusung Area. The results of the VSD settings obtained frequency values of 30 Hz, 35 Hz, 40Hz and 45 Hz. Calculations using the equation of motor rotation speed to frequency, thetheoretical value is compared to 900rpm and from the results of calculations using VSD is nodifference, which is 900rpm. So from these data it can be seen that the data practically showsresults that are in accordance with the theory so that it can be concluded that the performanceof the induction motor is in good condition.
