Abstract

This study explores the design intricacies of a scalable RESTful Backend API tailored for a sophisticated food recipe recommendation application, with a primary focus on leveraging the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deployment. Employing a service-oriented paradigm, the API segregates Backend functionalities, fostering optimal scalability. The REST architecture ensures seamless integration, while GCP guarantees reliability and scalability. Utilizing Node.js and Express.js, the API efficiently manages culinary recipes and user preferences. Rigorous performance evaluations affirm its rapid responsiveness. This paper offers pragmatic guidelines for developers, emphasizing the significance of GCP for seamless and scalable deployments.

Abstract

Increasing fruit consumption is one of the challenges of public health. To address this, the authors developed a mobile application that allows users to scan and find information related to fruit. FruityFit is an application that can help users to get nutritional and processed information related to certain fruits that can increase users' interest in fruit consumption. This research focuses on constructing the back-end component of the FruityFit application. The design adheres to the REST architectural, leveraging the well-established ExpressJS framework for developmen. To realize the system, we implemented it using a suite of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. These services include Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL, providing a scalable foundation for the back-end infrastructure.. The final result of this research is a REST API that has been running well and documented to help the front-end consume the API.

Abstract

Mruwak is one of the villages in Madiun Regency where the majority of residents work as farmers. The food commodity most widely grown in the village is rice, while the rest are corn, sweet potatoes and peanuts. With the existence of a supply chain system, it is hoped that it can help farmers determine rice marketing routes effectively and efficiently. The aim of this research is to determine the supply chain system for rice produced by farmers in Mruwak Village. This research is qualitative in nature and the sample was selected purposively and using snowball sampling. The research results show the rice process, starting from land processing, rice planting, to maintenance and harvest. The farmers in the village have experience in growing rice, on average they have been growing rice for more than 10 years so they understand how to grow rice properly, including selecting superior seeds. The supply chain distribution channel used is a simple distribution channel model (1 to 3 level distribution channel model). Determination of selling prices based on agreements between farmers and buyers through demand and supply mechanisms (market mechanisms).

Abstract

This research is a synthesis of various sources of information, including research journals, articles, books and TikTok content from the @iben_ma account. The main focus of the research is on the concept of Marketing Strategy, utilization of the TikTok platform and Content Marketing strategy. By combining data from various sources, this research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the use of TikTok as an effective marketing tool, especially in the context of marketing products such as Indonesian Sambal Bakar which is promoted by the owner directly @iben_ma. The research results show that the promotional strategy used by @iben_ma on TikTok for Sambal Bakar Indonesia was successful in increasing brand awareness, building positive consumer perceptions, and strengthening relationships with the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a hotspot network system using userman and proxy server radius at SMK Negeri 5 Luwu to solve problems because users are not limited in using devices to make internet connections in the school environment. Radius servers run a centralized user administration system. This system will certainly simplify the task of an administrator. With this system, users can use hotspots in different places by authenticating to the radius server. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 5 Luwu. The research method used in this study is Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Data collection methods consisting of direct observation methods to the research location, interviews with one of the operators as well as network operators / administrators in the school, literature studies. Testing was conducted using browser, CMD and Speedtest. The results of research with the hotspto using userman and radius server using the same user as the password in user authentication management to improve network security have been successfully implemented internet networks in schools to improve network security, so it is very helpful for network providers in managing and monitoring all users connected to their networks.

Abstract

This research presents the development of an e-commerce application aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of Khadijah Konveksi, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the garment industry. The application, developed using Android, Java, and Kotlin, provides features for order management, real-time tracking, and online payment, significantly improving customer experience and operational workflow. Initial feedback indicates a high level of customer satisfaction and a notable increase in operational efficiency. The project also highlights the collaborative efforts between students, faculty, and industry professionals, demonstrating the impact of academic-industry partnerships in driving technological advancements for SMEs

Abstract

Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) are the main place for the public to get basic health services. In certain conditions, the Health Center will receive visits from patients who arrive with the same number of origins at the same time. This has an impact on health services experiencing a decline and not maximizing the health of health workers in checking patients' health. So, comprehensive services are not obtained, and there are even patients who queue for too long. In order to minimize this occurrence, simulations are carried out to predict the number of possible visits that will occur in the future. The method used in this study is Monte Carlo. This research is intended so that the information provided by the Health Center related to the prediction of the number of patient visits that are likely to occur in the next year or in the future can be done validly and accurately. The data used is data on the number of patient visits in 2021, 2022, and 2023. As a result of this study, a prediction of the number of patient visits was obtained so that the Health Center could implement the next action that was useful for improving the quality of services needed

Abstract

Oversize berguna untuk meningkatkan performa kinerja mesin pada motor.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan nilai uji kompresi, torsi, dan performa mesin sepeda motor Vario dan Beat dengan perpindahan antara 110 cm3 dan 115 cm3. Oleh karena itu, digunakan metode oversizing dengan mengganti piston mesin sepeda motor Beat dan Vario untuk membandingkan nilai uji kompresi, torsi, dan tenaga. Nilai kompresi yang dihasilkan mesin sepeda motor Beat dan Vario 110 cm 3 sebelum oversize menjadi 115 cm 3 adalah 9,2: 1. Hasil nilai kompresi mesin sepeda motor Beat dan Vario 110 cm 3 dan Beat 110 cm 3 setelah oversizing menjadi 115 cm 3 12. 06 : 1. Dicapai pada mesin sepeda motor tipe Beat sebelum oversizing menjadi 115 cm 3 Nilai torsi sebesar 16,37 Nm , yang turun menjadi 14,65 Nm setelah oversize. Nilai torsi yang dicapai mesin sepeda motor Vario sebelum ditingkatkan menjadi 115 cm3 adalah 15,28 Nm, sedangkan setelah ditingkatkan hasilnya meningkat menjadi 16,78 Nm. Hasil nilai performa mesin sepeda motor Vario sebelum oversizing menjadi 115 cc menunjukkan nilai horsepower sebesar 6,9 hp pada 4547 rpm, meningkat menjadi 7,1 hp pada 4575 rpm setelah oversizing. Nilai performa mesin sepeda motor tipe Beat sebelum oversizing menjadi 115cm3 menunjukkan nilai horsepower sebesar 7,2 hp pada 3686 rpm, meningkat menjadi 7,6 hp pada 5852 rpm setelah oversizing.

Abstract

Pengukuran jarak yang akurat merupakan komponen kunci dalam berbagai aplikasi teknologi termasuk robotika, sistem keselamatan, dan kontrol industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keakuratan pengukuran jarak benda menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266. NodeMCU ESP8266 dipilih karena integrasi Wi-Fi yang memungkinkan data dikirim secara nirkabel ke server untuk analisis lebih lanjut. Metode penelitian ini meliputi pengujian sensor ultrasonik pada berbagai jarak dan kondisi lingkungan untuk mengetahui keakuratan dan konsistensi hasil pengukuran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa akurasi sensor ultrasonik menurun seiring dengan bertambahnya jarak pengukuran. Selain itu, kondisi lingkungan seperti suhu, kelembaban, dan permukaan benda juga mempengaruhi keakuratan pengukuran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kalibrasi tambahan untuk memastikan ketepatan pengukuran dalam kondisi lingkungan yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sensor ultrasonik berbasis NodeMCU 8266 dapat digunakan sebagai solusi yang efektif untuk aplikasi pengukuran jarak, namun kalibrasi dan penyesuaian diperlukan untuk menjamin keakuratan data pada berbagai kondisi. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap pengembangan sistem otomasi yang lebih cerdas dan responsif.

Abstract

An important digital image processing is image segmentation, which separates objects from the background for further analysis. One segmentation technique is edge detection, which looks for boundaries between areas of different brightness. This article compares four edge detection methods: Roberts, Prewitt, Sobel, and Canny. The results show that, despite requiring more complex computations, Canny's method produces the sharpest and best connected edges; Sobel and Prewitt's method, on the other hand, is faster and simpler than Roberts' method, but is less effective in dealing with noise and often produces edges that are not connected to the plane. The choice of edge detection method depends on the application. Sobel and Prewitt are good for speed and stability, and Roberts is suitable for fast processing of images with minimal noise.
