Abstract

Lombok is an area with the highest geomagnetic anomaly in Indonesia (Zubaidah et al., 2014). From the end of July to the end of August 2018, Lombok experienced a series of fairly large earthquakes. Identification of geomagnetic signals, especially in the Ultra Low Frequency (ULF) spectrum, can be used as earthquake precursors (Saroso, 2010). Intermagnet IAGA (International Aeronomy Geomagnetic Association) is a network of international geomagnetic observatory stations that have large world geomagnetic data. Big data analysis is very important because very large information is needed in disaster mitigation. This study uses geomagnetic data per second for 24 hours from 28 August to 30 November 2018 taken from Kakadu (KDU) Australia and Nurul Bayan Station (NRB) Lombok. The analytical method used is Differentiation by calculating the F value (total magnetic field) for KDU and NRB, then look for the difference and analyze the pattern. The results found that there was an anomaly phenomenon of the Earth's magnetic field in Nurul Bayan Lombok which was detected for 17 days during October 2018.

Abstract

National Energy Policy, is to increase energy diversification through efforts to use renewable energy such as renewable non-fossil fuels, especially wind energy until 2025. By utilizing renewable energy, the dependence on fossil fuels on the national energy supply system can decrease. Sumbawa Island has the potential for wind energy around 220 KW (assuming each location is built 10 units)

Abstract

Since the magnitude 7 magnitude earthquake occurred in August 2018, Lombok Island, especially North Lombok Regency, has been severely affected by infrastructure damage. From the data available, there are very few sources of clean water and are scarce. For this reason, in March 2019 the University of Mataram Community Service Team was represented by PUI Geomagnetic together with the largest water pump company in the world, Xylem Inc. installed a water pump at SDN 3 Teluk Nara Pemenang. The result of pumping water is clean water ready to drink.

Abstract

The program that was implemented at Nurul Wathan (NW) was the result of research at the Rembitan Observatory to measure the earth's magnetism using a device called Proton. The international unit for measuring the earth's magnetism is the Tesla, specifically the nTesla earth magnet (Nano Tesla). The stages of implementing the solution are adjusted to the characteristics of the stages of the disaster cycle. During a disaster, full of activities in an emergency situation, post-disaster, reduce the complexity of the problems in reconstruction and rehabilitation. Pre-disaster requires thorough planning. Communities that are exposed to disasters are very diverse. For those who have been educated or those who have not received formal education, they need to understand the importance of disaster risk reduction (DRR).

Abstract

The condition of the situation in Sade Village is a hill, slope and mountainous area with and has a marble of more than 20 degrees, a thick layer of soil above the hillside, there is a poor water and land use system, resulting in flooding and landslides. The incident occurred in early 2021. This was carried out by a community service program to anticipate the possibility of floods and landslides due to extreme weather. This service was carried out by the Research Group on Electro Magnetic Technology and Environmental Conservation for Humanity. One of the missions related to the village community is towards Tangguh Bencara Village (DESTANA).

Abstract

After the 2018 Lombok Earthquake, buildings at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram (FT Unram) were severely damaged and there was no comprehensive treatment. Facilities for earthquake mitigation are still minimal and if available they are not designed and placed properly. Some parts of the building have been renovated but appear unfinished, while there were new constructions that have not been investigated regarding their suitability with earthquake mitigation. Anticipating re-occurrence of a major earthquake in Lombok, it is very necessary to implement earthquake mitigation at FT Unram. In this paper, results of vulnerability investigation of each building will be presented including number, type, and level of damages as well as their locations and detailed documentation of each point of damages in form of pictures and photos/videos. Through this activity vulnerabilities of each building can be identified comprehensively, so that appropriate treatments can be carried out, and the safest evacuation route can be planned as well.

Abstract

Elevator is a vertical means of transportation that requires a control system to change floor positions. The controller used in this research is a Programable Logic Controller (PLC). In PLCs, the designed logic is represented in ladder diagrams and embedded in internal memory. The design of the elevator simulator uses a board measuring 30cmx40cm, consisting of a PLC unit, several electronic components such as LEDs, on-off switches, cables, resistors, external power supply for the LED circuit power source as an output indicator. In the test, the LED will actively adjust to the logic design in the ladder diagram. The illustration of the control of a 6-floor elevator is described in the LED circuit simulator, including as an indicator of the movement of the elevator to each floor and a switch as a representation of the limit switch sensor and the pointer button for other purposes in a work process on the 6-floor elevator system. The logic of the system is built from 30 input indicators and 22 output indicators. After several stages of the test scenario have been carried out, the control logic that has been designed can work well.

Abstract

Gas Karbon Monoksida (CO) dikenal sebagai polutan udara yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alat yang berfungsi untuk mengukur nilai konsentrasi gas CO. Alat ukur ini menggunakan sensor gas HS-134 sebagai sensor gas karbon monoksida (CO). Sedangkan mikrokontroler ATmega32 sebagai kontroler dan pemroses sinyal, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) dengan karakter 16x2 berfungsi untuk penampil data serta pencatat data menggunakan memori penyimpanan SDcard untuk memudahkan dalam pemantauan nilai konsentrasi gas CO. Alat ini juga diaplikasikan dalam pengujian kemampuan tanaman hias dalam menyerap konsentrasi gas CO dalam suatu lingkungan. Berdasarkan pengujian sensor, pada grafik perbandingan dengan alat standar didapatkan persamaan liniernya yaitu y = 0,869x + 0,197 sehingga didapatkan jangkauan pengukuran sensor dari 0,20 % sampai 4,54%. Sedangkan hasil pengujian pada tanaman didapatkan bahwa dalam waktu pemaparan gas selama 6 jam tanaman lidah mertua (Sansevieria sp) mampu menurunkan sebesar 13,44 % sedangkan tanaman Sri Rejeki (Aglaonema sp) menurunkan sebesar 5,86 %. Abstract

Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan dan kemudahan bagi pengguna dari sistem otomatis pengunci pintu menggunakan kode ketukan. Sinyal analog yang dihasilkan dari sensor saat diberikan ketukan akan masuk melalui pin ADC(analog to digital converter) sistem minimum Arduino dengan IC mikrokontroler ATMega328P. Sinyal analog dari sensor akan dikonversi dalam bentuk digit biner (digital) yang akan memberikan logika pada beberapa beban sebagai indikasi termasuk mengaktifkan driver L298N untuk menggerakkan motor DC-micro untuk membuka pintu yang terkunci atau sebaliknya mengunci pintu yang terbuka. Hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa kode ketukan yang diberikan pada sistem ini terkait dengan jumlah ketukan dan nilai waktu interval atau jarak antar setiap-ketukan dan disimpan dalam type data Array yang membentuk sebuah ritme/irama ketukan tertentu yang di gunakan dalam program. Nilai interval ketukan ini (password ketukan) akan disimpan terlebih dahulu dalam flash memory mikrokontroler. Dari 30 kali percobaan yang dilakukan ketika sensor piezo mendeteksi ada beberapa ketukan, sistem akan mulai bekerja dengan melakukan mencacah interval antar ketukan, jika ritme/irama ketukan sesuai dengan yang telah tersimpan sebelumnya maka sistem penguncian/membuka pintu akan aktif. Sebaliknya adapun jika terjadi kesalahan dalam pemberian masukan kode ketukan tadi diluar dari interval ritme/ irama yang telah ditentukan, maka sistem pengunci/membuka tidak bekerja. Abstract

ABSTRAK Oven merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk proses pemanggangan kue. Proses pemanggangan dengan oven menggunakan media yang dapat menampung suhu panas secara konstan sehingga bisa mendapatkan hasil pembakaran yang sempurna. Baik atau tidaknya sebuah oven tergantung dari bahan yang digunakan untuk menampung suhu panas, dimana material yang biasa digunakan antara lain tanah, keramik, plat besi dan aluminium. Mikrokontroler adalah sebuah IC yang memiliki sistem pengontrolan digital dimana sebagian besar instruksi dieksekusi dalam 1 (satu) siklus clock. Instruksi/perintah diberikan melalui sebuah program yang ditanamkan pada memory flash. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan sistem digital pada sebuah oven sehingga menghasilakan oven yang memiliki sistem otomatis dengan memanfaatkan sensor LM35DZ sebagai pembaca suhu, mikrokontroler ATMega8535 sebagai pengontrol dan motor DC sebagai aktuator. Teknologi otomatisasi ini diharapkan mampu meminimalisir penggunaan tenaga manusia pada saat proses pemanggangan dan mampu memproduksi kue dalam skala besar secara efisien. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa, lama waktu pemanggangan yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan kematangan kue yang sempurna adalah diantara 45 menit sampai 50 menit dengan setingan suhu 100oC
