Abstract

One of the main challenges encountered is the suboptimal project progress tracking system, and the frequent delays in progress reporting that hinder management in monitoring project development. Therefore, the author will write a thesis discussing the creation of a web-based project management application using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. The development process of this software will use the waterfall method. This application is expected to facilitate PT. Aurora Arta Indonesia in conducting its business processes. With features for progress tracking, billing recording, and progress reporting to clients, it will help achieve project goals quickly and effectively.

Abstract

Developing a web-based information system using the waterfall model, focusing on user needs analysis, design, development, testing, and system implementation. The results of the needs analysis indicate that users want a system that is easily accessible and efficient in data management. The design process produces an intuitive system design, while development is carried out using PHP and MySQL. System testing involves users to ensure functionality and stability, with the feedback obtained used for improvement. Implementation of the system in a real environment shows an increase in data management efficiency compared to the previous system. This study confirms the effectiveness of the waterfall model in developing information systems, although challenges in design flexibility still need to be considered. The results of this study are expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of web-based information systems that are more responsive to user needs.

Abstract

The application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in campus facility management can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness by monitoring the availability of rooms and equipment in real-time. This study aims to explore the basic concepts and implementation of IoT in managing campus facilities through document analysis. The results show that IoT can assist in managing classrooms and equipment, allowing campus managers to optimize facility usage, reduce wastage, and improve service quality. IoT implementation also facilitates the maintenance and replacement of faulty equipment by utilizing data generated from sensors. However, the main challenges in IoT implementation are related to technological infrastructure and data security, which require special attention to ensure the system operates effectively and securely. Overall, this study concludes that IoT technology provides a solution to improve campus facility management efficiency and supports the creation of a more modern and responsive educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to facilitate the process of processing grades for teachers in the SKB field of the Education Service. Managing student data and information is a very important aspect to support an effective teaching and learning process. One form of crucial data management is the student report card information system. For the problems above, a report card processing application is needed that can make reporting easier by creating a reintegrative data processing information system. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with data collection in this research using observation, interview and documentation techniques. By designing this information system, it can be a solution and meet the needs of problems in processing report cards manually, so that the grades managed become easier and faster.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company in the field of construction, development, and management of construction projects. They are responsible for planning, managing, and implementing construction projects, both for infrastructure and commercial buildings. The previous assessment did not have a weighting of the criteria assessment and took time to process the value of each employee because the assessment still used a manual method (assisted by calculator calculations) so that the employee calculation process was processed one by one. This is not in accordance with the director's expectations and has an impact on the assessment being inaccurate and detrimental to the company in terms of time. Therefore, to evaluate the performance of top employees at PT XYZ, this decision support system application was created, with the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method which can produce a simple Decision Support System with an easy-to-understand and logical concept in the PT XYZ Employee Performance Assessment.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era has significantly impacted various sectors, including libraries in educational institutions. This study focuses on the analysis and design of a web-based library information system at SMK Yapermas Jakarta, utilizing the Waterfall software development methodology. The Waterfall model was chosen for its systematic structure, ranging from requirements analysis to system maintenance. Currently, the library management at SMK Yapermas is still manual, leading to several issues such as slow book searching, borrowing, returning processes, and potential data errors. The objective of this study is to design a system that enhances library service efficiency. The research findings indicate that the web-based system significantly improves the efficiency and quality of services, with excellent ratings in various development stages, such as requirement analysis (81% - 88%) and system testing (81% - 86%). Therefore, the web-based library is expected to provide a more effective solution for library management at SMK Yapermas Jakarta and other schools.

Abstract

This research analyzes user satisfaction of the Surabaya Tourist Ticket, which is a digital platform designed to make it easier to purchase tourist tickets in the city of Surabaya which is managed by the Surabaya City DISBUDPORAPAR. This analysis was carried out using the End User Computing Satisfaction model which measures the content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness of the application. The result of the analysis shows that this application has a positive and significant influence on a user satisfaction in the content, accuracy, ease of use, and timeliness variables, but the format variable has a positive but not significant influence on the user satisfaction. From the result of this analysis, it can be seen that the Surabaya Tourist Ticket has been successful in meeting needs so that users feel satisfied. The implication of this research is to support further development to improve the appearance and maintain performance so that the existence of the Surabaya Tourist Ticket website and tourism in the city of Surabaya increase so that regional income also increases.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the utilization of ChatGPT can increase the effectiveness of Pamulang University students in completing academic assignments. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The analysis technique used was a survey through a Google Form questionnaire involving 120 respondents. Respondents of this study were Pamulang University students from all study programs and regular lectures. The results showed that in general the utilization of ChatGPT can increase the effectiveness of student academic task completion. This is indicated by the results of measuring five indicators of effectiveness which indicate that the use of ChatGPT can significantly increase the effectiveness of student task completion. ChatGPT proved to be useful as a learning tool that can facilitate students in managing time and improving the quality of academic work. Thus, the research hypothesis which states that the utilization of ChatGPT can increase the effectiveness of student task completion can be accepted. The results of this study are expected to illustrate the importance of applying AI technology in education

Abstract

Health centers have an important role in providing effective and efficient health services to the community. However, the problem of long and unorganized queues often hinders the quality of service. This study aims to design and implement a web-based queue management system at the Stabat Lama Health Center. The methods used include system requirements analysis, database design, and software development. This system allows patient registration, queue number retrieval, and automatic patient calling, thereby reducing waiting time and increasing operational efficiency. The implementation results show that this system is able to create a more orderly service flow, minimize errors in the queuing process, and increase patient satisfaction. With the integration of information technology, this system is expected to support the transformation of more modern and responsive health services.

Abstract

This research aims to develop strategies for SI/TI Cafe Ungu to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness. Cafe Ungu is still struggling to integrate technology, so some business processes are still done manually and are less efficient. The method used to analyze the internal and external conditions of the company, as well as the SI/TI conditions, is Ward and Peppard with a qualitative approach through interviews and observations. SWOT Analysis, Value Chain, PEST, and McFarlan Strategic Grid are components of the method used to determine the appropriate application for Cafe Ungu. The analysis results show that automated bookkeeping, web-based inventory management, and centralized POS systems can improve data accuracy and operational efficiency. Additionally, it is recommended that the customer experience be improved with a digital queue system and modern payment methods. By implementing this strategy, Cafe Ungu is expected to adapt to market changes and enhance its competitiveness. Thus, the SI/IT strategy based on the Ward and Peppard method successfully supports Cafe Ungu's long-term goals.
