Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the prospective marriage's understanding of the pre-marital guidance material at the Beth-El Tabernacle Alfa Omega Gajah Mada-Semarang Church on congregational household harmony. The results of the first hypothesis proposed in this study are: Understanding of the Premarital Guidance Material in the 60% category is not accepted. The second hypothesis is that the harmony in the household of the congregation who has followed the Pre-Marriage Guidance is in the 60% category not accepted. The third hypothesis which is thought to have a positive influence between Pre-Marriage Guidance at the Beth-El Tabernacle Christ Church of Alfa Omega Semarang on household harmony is greatly accepted or has a positive relationship. Because the correlation coefficient value obtained is 723a, it is included in the high category in the correlation coefficient interpretation table.

Abstract

Abstrak Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, musik telah menjadi sesuatu yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh manusia, termasuk di lingkungan gereja. Dalam sejarahnya, musik ada dan lahir dari gereja, dimana pada awalnya musik muncul pertama kali berfungsi untuk mengiringi himne dalam kebaktian gereja. Hingga saat ini, gereja membutuhkan musik sebagai pelayanan yang melengkapi bahkan menjadi hal utama dalam menjalankan kegiatan peribadatan di gereja. Tak jarang, musik dalam ibadah di sebuah gereja dijadikan sebagai identitas dari gereja itu sendiri. Sehingga perkembangan musik di gereja, semakin dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman. Untuk itu diperlukan hal-hal yang dapat membantu perkembangan musik di sebuah gereja, salah satunya adalah pelatihan musik gereja.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber, dimana penulis mengumpulkan beberapa sumber data yang akan diolah menjadi hasil akhir penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pelatihan musik gereja di GBT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perencanaan pelatihan musik di GBT Kristus Alfa Omega telah dilaksanakan dengan menetapkan tujuan awal, persiapan materi dan penjadwalan pelatihan. Menyelenggarakan atau menyusun kelompok dalam pelatihan musik daerah, dengan mengelompokkan peserta sesuai dengan Lamanya waktu melayani bidang musik. Dalam pelaksanaannya, pimpinan diklat telah memberikan arahan dan motivasi yang dibutuhkan oleh peserta diklat. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala, setiap bulan atau setelah setiap pertemuan pelatihan.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan manusia, musik juga berkembang. Tak musik gereja, sebagai bentuk ekspresi manusia terhadap Tuhan yang disembah, telah berubah. Gereja, menyediakan wadah bagi generasi muda untuk beribadah, salah satunya dengan menggunakan Electronic Dance Music yang diimplementasikan dalam musik pengiring ibadah. Citra yang tertanam dalam budaya EDM disambut dengan pujian dan penyembahan dalam liturgi gereja yang suci. Hasilnya EDM memberikan identitas bagi komunitas I-Gen Youth, menggunakan elemen EDM yang diadopsi untuk mempertahankan iringan ibadah menyembah.

Abstract

At the Pantecostal Church in Indonesia “Siloam”, Salatiga, there are 6-12 years old children that play angklung music instruments cohesively. In this research the writer tries to find the method used to train 6-12 years old children by observising the process of angklung training for children at the Pantecostal Church in Indonesia “Siloam”, Salatiga.In the research the writer uses qualitative research method. In the qualitative research method, the writer becomes the key of instrument. To know the method training used in the angklung training for 6-12 years old childern at the Pantecostal Church in Indonesia “Siloam”, Salatiga, the writer needs to observe angklung training directly. Besides, the data finding is done by recording, photographing, and interviewing. The data become the materials to be analized. Before analyzing the data the writer studies the concepts, literature, and books related to the research.The conclusion of the research is that the success of angklung learning can be achived if the children are trained continously. If the angklung trainer applies proper method and continous training, the children are able to study angklung instrument successfully.

Abstract

Ignorance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be the cause of the backward growth of the Church. Researh was conducted to find out how the congregation's understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is based on 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 in Beth-El Tabernacle Christ Alpha Omega church, Temanggung. This research is a qualitative research with one variable. From these questions, the results of this study indicate that 79% of the congregation have understood. Then the other 21% of the congregation do not understand all the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are written in 1 Cor 12:7-11.

Abstract

To be able to obtain the gift of the Holy Spirit, everyone, especially God's servants, must have an attitude of enthusiasm to be empowered with the gift of the Holy Spirit. This study aims to describe, photograph the enthusiasm of students in the implementation of the spiritual gift empowerment training that has been carried out at STT Christ Alfa Omega Semarang, especially students of the Theology study program. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods. The methodology used in this research is descriptive quantitative. Based on data analysis, it is known that the level of enthusiasm of students in the implementation of the training to empower the gift of the Holy Spirit at STT Christ Alfa Omega Semarang is in the very good category, which is 84%.

Abstract

The gifts of the Spirit are a special ability bestowed by God and channeled by the Holy Spirit to believers for Christian devotion. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are not rewards, but gifts of voluntary work done by the Holy Spirit as equipment for service both internally and externally gifts of the Spirit are given according to the Holy Spirit's sovereign will. According to his will and his sovereignty for believers to build up the body of Christ, one with another. After the researchers conducted research in the field, the results obtained stated that the level of empowerment of the gift of motivation based on Romans 12:1-8 in the ministry of the congregation at GBT Rambakulu is based on the calculation of the sample obtained a value of 90,01%

Abstract

In today's church era, music is very important in every worship activity, because good music depends on how someone processes and arranges the music into music that is pleasant to listen to. In the process of processing this music, the church really needs the power of a music director. The music director is the person who is responsible for all aspects such as leading in music management, worship activities, or directing his team because the music director himself has a very big influence in every worship activity. In the smooth process of a worship service, of course, there are important components in it, such as human resources (HR) and training for the regeneration of church musicians. Human resources are one of the important foundations in worship. If the human resources in the church are very minimal, it will certainly affect the activities in a church activity. The regeneration training for church musicians serves to prepare regenerates to enter the world of service.

Abstract

With the development of global technology, music technology has also developed, including music technology in the church. Many churches are taking advantage of the development of sound technology to provide a platform for new generations to worship without abandoning the needs of the previous generation, Backing track technology that runs and blends with their worship music, helping to build an atmosphere of praise and worship. This study uses a qualitative research method with a participant observation approach, where the researcher combines document analysis, interviewing respondents and informants, direct observation and participation (involvement) and introspection. The results obtained are the meaning of the existence of the Backing track in the music accompaniment of worship. The conclusion obtained is that Backing track makes music accompaniment to worship beyond the imagination of musicians as well as being a "partner" in music for Abbalove Taman Palem. The elements of technology used to implement the Backing track were adjusted to keep it running in tandem with the elements of the original worship music, namely the combo band. The existence of the Backing track is not the core in building an atmosphere of praise and worship, but the Backing track is only a tool in conveying the message of the song, and strengthening the psychological element of the song that is sung.

Abstract

The gift of healing today is an interesting topic for discussion in Bible research and study. Not a few issues that exist today are pros and cons in his theory. In this scientific paper, the researcher wants to investigate how the word healing power is used in the biblical text, namely in the Book of Acts and see its relevance today. In his research, the researcher uses a biblical approach where qualitative research is descriptive, not numerical. In accordance with the results of the research that the author describes in this scientific paper, the healing power that occurs in the Acts of the Apostles is still relevant today in terms of the tenses used in explaining the gift of healing.
