Abstract

The use of Active Directory and Privileges Methods on Computer Networks for central data storage at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu is made using Samba Server, where files will be stored in folders on the server, and direct users to access the folder in order to process documents that have been stored in the folder. In the application of Active Directory, the server has installed the samba ad-dc service (Activer Directory Domain Controller) with the hostname smamuhammadiyah1.bengkulu.lan and the server IP Address 192.168.0.2 which can be accessed by each clientBased on tests carried out with server and client specifications found at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu, it can be concluded that the file storage process can be done well as expected, and if the file storage has a large size, then the storage process takes a long time.

Abstract

Health is an important asset in carrying out activities so it needs to be maintained and considered properly, therefore it is important to equip yourself with knowledge and maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to avoid various diseases. One of the diseases that attack humans and is often found in hospitals is appendicitis. The lack of knowledge and socialization to the community about this disease Appendicitis (Inflammation of the Appendix), resulting in the community considering this disease as trivial or ordinary, in fact according to the information of doctors this disease which if not treated properly will cause death. Therefore, to help the community and medical personnel in providing knowledge, consultation and socialization about the disease Appendicitis (Inflammation of the Appendix) is to design and build an expert system application by applying the Certainty Factor method. The Certainty Factor method has the advantage of being able to measure something whether it is certain or uncertain, for example in diagnosing a disease.The final result of this research is an expert system to diagnose Appendicitis (Inflammation of the Appendix) along with the confidence value of the diagnosed disease, which shows the system's level of confidence in the disease.

Abstract

Cavities or caries are conditions that are very common and experienced by anyone, especially children who are susceptible to them. The condition of dental caries in children may one day have an impact when the children are adults. However, many people are unfamiliar with dental caries, so a system that can be accessed online is needed to help patients or the public to consult independently. This expert system uses the Probabilistic Symmetric method using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The resulting expert system can make it easy for users to make early diagnoses of dental caries online.

Abstract

Security and confidentiality issues are one of the important aspects of data, messages and information. One technique that can maintain data confidentiality is cryptography. Vigenere Cipher is one of the classic cryptographic algorithms that works by reading words per character, where if the message sent exceeds the length of the key used, the key will be repeated until the message sent gets each key. The system implementation uses Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is waterfall, this application is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The result of this research is a software application that is useful for maintaining the confidentiality of messages with the Vigenere Cipher algorithm method. With this application can be one solution in securing data in the chat process.

Abstract

Search Engine is a system that can be used to automatically find relevant information to the needs of its users from a book collection. This system will receive input in the form of keywords for the information to be searched. In a relatively shorter time, it will provide relevant information for the keywords entered by the user. In the search system, one method is needed, one of which is VSM (Vector Space Modeling) method. VSM method was chosen because the way this model works is efficient, easy to represent, and can be implemented in library systems. The system implementation uses the Visual Basic 2010 programming language and the method used in this research is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This SDLC functions to describe the main stages and steps of each stage which are broadly divided into 3 (three) activities, namely analysis, design and implementation. By developing a library system using the VSM method, it is hoped that it will make it easier for officers to provide services and can help with work in the library through library automation functions, so that the library management process is more effective and efficient.
