Abstract

This research is a literature study which aims to determine the importance of stimulating fine motor development for young children. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method with literature study. In this literature study research, researchers used various written sources such as articles, journals and documents that were relevant to the research in this study. From this research literature study, it can be concluded that by providing appropriate stimulation, fine motor development in early childhood can be achieved optimally. This will have a positive impact on various aspects of children's development, both from a cognitive, social and emotional perspective. Therefore, it is important for parents and teachers to realize the importance of stimulating fine motor development for young children and use appropriate methods to stimulate children's fine motor development.

Abstract

The current beauty standard has referred to external beauty and no longer relative. Especially current beauty standard just focused on things that are becoming trends.  The amount of impact by influencers can build an opinion and change the mindset of students in social interaction factors. If the influencer thinks that beauty is what is seen physically, over time the student's thinking can be influenced as an influencer thinks. The strong impact of influencers who become role models of beauty standards, many people change their appearance according to beauty standards and lose their identity due to being too carried away by trends in society. This study aims to determine whether the beauty standards provided by influencers have an impact on the self-identity of students of Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta, campus 3, class 2022. The research method used by this study is a quantitative descriptive method, by using statistical tests with the help of the SPSS application. This study obtained the results of the impact of beauty standards by influencers on the self-identity of students of Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta Class of 2022, with a large influence of 29.1% so that other factors as much as 70.9% were influenced by other factors outside the study.

Abstract

Early childhood is in the golden age so that cognitive and social aspects need to be improved so that the growth and development of children is optimal. The purpose of this study is to determine the type of learning media to improve children's cognitive and social aspects. This research is a descriptive qualitative research method using the library research method or literature research by reviewing written sources. The data source used is 15 journals for 5 years back. The library data collection method is carried out by reading, recording, and analyzing and then concluding the research material. The results showed that the learning process influenced the aspects of cognitive development and socio-social development of children. Media that affect the aspects of children's cognitive development on namely, dominoes, loose parts, traces media, numbers puzzles, uno cards, smart geometry boards, zoolofabets, powerpoint, and media made from natural materials. While the media that affect the aspects of children's socio-social development in the form of animated videos, hand dolls, smart roullete, and snake ladder clogs.

Abstract

The latest fashion trends are a complement for students, where students are known to be surrounded by people who really pay attention to appearance or fashion, sometimes this appearance also causes pressure on themselves due to the outfits they wear every day. The purpose of this counseling activity is to find out how much influence outfits have on the self-confidence of each education student who has his own rules for dressing. This counseling focuses on implementing group counseling services to overcome self-confidence problems in students using REBT group counseling techniques. In implementing activities, this service focuses on the effectiveness of REBT group counseling in increasing students' self-confidence by collecting data using questionnaires. This method is very effective in increasing students' low self-confidence. Barriers to implementing group counseling are various student perceptions of group counseling.

Abstract

The problem that students often experience is academic anxiety. Symptoms of academic anxiety raised by students include: worrying about not being able to complete assignments according to the collection period that has been carried out and anxiety if they get unsatisfactory end-of-semester exam scores. These symptoms arise due to students' irrational beliefs. Group counselling of the REBT approach in its focus is to transform individual irrational beliefs into rational ones. Group counseling using the REBT approach can be carried out on students whose goal is that after participating in group counseling service activities, students can feel more relieved, have better conditions, and they can understand how to control the academic anxiety they experience. With this goal, REBT group counseling is considered effective in overcoming students' academic anxiety.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation methods. The data analysis used is triangulation. This research aims to: 1. find out the application of group counseling using discussion techniques to increase learning motivation given to class VIIIB Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Najah 1 Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep students. 2. to find out the impact of the group counseling process with discussion techniques in increasing learning motivation for class VIII B Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Najah 1 Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep students. The research result is that the implementation of group counseling services using discussion techniques provided to class VIII B students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Najah 1 Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep has been carried out well, carried out regularly once a month involving all class VIII B students, apart from being carried out in an official discussion forum (room) guidance counseling using this discussion technique is also sometimes carried out outside the room, in the form of casual conversations with students. The impact of group counseling services with discussion techniques in increasing learning motivation for class VIII B Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Najah 1 Karduluk Pragaan Sumenep students is: a. Class VIII B students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah An-Najah 1 from the start lacked enthusiasm for learning and were often indifferent to learning by carrying out group counseling using discussion techniques and seemed more enthusiastic when carrying out discussions, because teachers in carrying out discussions often gave rewards to discussion participants, either in the form of praise or small gifts that can attract students' enthusiasm for active learning. b. Class VIII B An-Najah 1 students appear to be increasingly motivated to learn and hone their knowledge by discussing, because teachers as facilitators try to instill a sense of mutual respect between fellow students.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic or chronic disease characterized by increased blood glucose levels because the body is unable to produce insulin.  Self-awareness is a person's ability to recognize feelings, be able to control themselves, and have a strong belief in their strengths and weaknesses. One's self-awareness is needed to improve the quality of life. Quality of life is a person's thoughts regarding satisfaction or well-being from various aspects of physical, psychological, social and environmental health. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the level of self-awareness and the quality of life in diabetes mellitus sufferers in the Wonosari Health Center area, Bondowoso Regency. This research uses a correlational design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was Quota Sampling with a total sample of 86 respondents. The results of this research showed that 61 respondents (70.9%) had a high level of self-awareness and the majority of 47 respondents (54.7%) had a high quality of life. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Spearman Rank (Rho) test with α=0.05, a p value of 0.001 was obtained, and an r value of 0.703 means that there is a strong relationship between the level of self-awareness and the quality of life in diabetes mellitus sufferers in the Wonosari Health Center area, Bondowoso Regency. Diabetes mellitus sufferers in the Wonosari Community Health Center area are expected to be able to increase self-awareness in order to maintain a high quality of life through participation in regular PROLANIS activities held by the Wonosari Community Health Center. Diabetes mellitus sufferers are also expected to be consistent in controlling diabetes mellitus, including monitoring blood sugar levels and implementing a healthy lifestyle.
