Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the regional economy, including in Southwest Sumba Regency. However, most MSMEs still face limitations in marketing, transaction management, and manual business data recording. This research aims to develop a web-based local market information system to support MSME digital sales and marketing activities. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D), with stages including needs analysis, system design, development, and system testing. The system was developed using a Model–View–Controller (MVC) architecture to separate application logic, display, and data management. The results show that the developed information system can improve business management efficiency, expand product marketing reach, and provide real-time transaction data and sales reports. With features such as a product catalog, shopping cart, checkout, and payment confirmation, this system is expected to increase MSME competitiveness and support the development of a digital-based local market in Southwest Sumba Regency.

Abstract

Manual guest book management is still widely used in government agencies, but this method has several weaknesses, such as low efficiency, potential recording errors, and the risk of visitor personal data leakage. Along with advances in information technology, implementing a digital guest book application with security features is a solution to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visitor data protection. This study aims to implement a web-based guest book security program application to enhance visitor data protection at the Southwest Sumba Regency Leadership Communication and Protocol Office, and to evaluate the system's effectiveness in supporting transparency and ease of reporting. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), with stages of system design, development, and testing. The application was developed using the PHP programming language as server-side scripting and supported by an integrated database. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that implementing a web-based guest book security program application can increase the efficiency of the recording process, improve data accuracy, and strengthen visitor data protection through authentication and access control mechanisms. The developed system also simplifies the reporting and monitoring of visitor data, making it more effective than the previously used manual system.

Abstract

Administrative information services at the Kalaki Kambe Village Office are an important part of supporting community needs, such as processing domicile certificates, cover letters, and other population documents. However, the service process is still carried out manually and is limited to village office working hours, causing various problems, including long queues, delays in information delivery, and high community dependence on village officials. Along with technological developments and the increasing public need for fast and flexible access to information, information technology-based solutions are needed that can improve the quality of public services. This study aims to design and build a chatbot application for village administrative information services using the rule-based conversation method. The research method used is a descriptive method with a software engineering approach, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and application testing. Research data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation related to the administrative service process at the Kalaki Kambe Village Office. The results show that the developed chatbot application is able to provide information on village administrative file processing requirements automatically, structured, and accessible 24 hours a day. The application of the rule-based conversation method allows the chatbot to provide consistent responses and according to user needs based on predetermined rules and keywords. The existence of this chatbot can increase public information accessibility, reduce the workload of village officials due to repetitive questions, and support the creation of more effective and efficient public services. Therefore, the rule-based conversation chatbot application developed in this research can be used as an alternative solution for disseminating information on village administration services and has the potential to support digital-based public service transformation at the village level.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi otomasi dan Internet of Things (IoT) telah memberikan peluang besar dalam meningkatkan efisiensi sistem produksi pada berbagai bidang industri, termasuk industri tekstil. Proses menjahit yang masih dilakukan secara manual sering menimbulkan kendala seperti ketidak konsistenan hasil jahitan, keterbatasan efisiensi waktu, serta ketergantungan pada keterampilan operator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan mesin jahit otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dapat dikendalikan melalui jaringan Wi-Fi sehingga mampu meningkatkan efektivitas proses produksi. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno sebagai pengendali utama, NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai modul komunikasi jaringan, serta motor stepper dan CNC Shield sebagai penggerak mekanik sistem. Selain itu, aplikasi Blynk digunakan sebagai antarmuka untuk monitoring dan kontrol sistem secara jarak jauh. Pengujian sistem dilakukan untuk memastikan setiap komponen dapat bekerja sesuai dengan rancangan serta mampu menjalankan perintah otomatis dengan stabil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mesin jahit otomatis yang dirancang dapat beroperasi dengan baik, merespons perintah secara real-time, serta menjalankan proses jahit sesuai instruksi program. Implementasi sistem ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi IoT pada mesin jahit mampu meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, kemudahan pengoperasian, serta mendukung pengembangan sistem otomatisasi di bidang industri tekstil.

Abstract

Perkembangan kecerdasan pada siswa sekolah dasar terutama dalam aspek daya ingat dan kecepatan respons merupakan fondasi penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, metode konvensional yang bersifat monoton dan kurang melibatkan aspek sensorimotor seringkali menurunkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Untuk itu, penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sebuah permainan interaktif “Simon Says” berbasis mikrokontroler yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan daya ingat dan kecepatan respons siswa SD. Mode pertama berfokus pada peningkatan respon dan fokus melalui rangkaian perintah yang harus dilakukan. Mode kedua menitik beratkan pada peningkatan daya ingat. Terakhir mode 3 menggabungkan focus dan daya ingat. Diharapkan inovasi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek kognitif siswa meliputi working memory dan reaksi sensorimotor tetapi juga memacu minat belajar anak yang selama ini rendah akibat metode tradisional yang membosankan

Abstract

Tutoring is an important service in education that aims to help students overcome learning difficulties and improve academic achievement. However, at SMA Negeri 1 Wewewa Utara, tutoring activities are still carried out manually, from recording to reporting, which results in low efficiency and limited access to information for students. This problem encourages the development of a web-based tutoring information system that can support the tutoring process more effectively and documented. This study aims to design and build a web-based student tutoring information system that can be used by tutors and students. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The technology used in this system includes the Code Igniter 4 programming language as a database, and HTML and CSS for the user interface. The results of this study indicate that the developed information system is able to facilitate the recording of tutoring activities, scheduling consultation sessions, and reporting student progress in a digital and structured manner. With this system, the tutoring process becomes more efficient and easily accessible to students and teachers at any time via the internet. This system is also expected to be the initial foundation for the development of other information systems at SMA Negeri 1 Wewewa Utara in order to support the digital transformation of education.

Abstract

The development of information technology requires educational institutions to manage data quickly, accurately, and in an integrated manner to support effective administration and decision-making. SMP Negeri 2 Wewewa Barat still uses a semi-manual spreadsheet-based system in managing student data, which has the potential to cause duplication, recording errors, information delays, and the risk of data loss. This study aims to develop a web-based student data management information system that can improve efficiency, accuracy, and data security. The method used is a system development with a Waterfall approach that includes needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was built using PHP and MySQL and designed as a multi-user web application. The results show that the system is able to centrally integrate student, teacher, class, and grade data, simplify the input, search, update, and reporting processes, and increase security through access rights settings. Thus, this system effectively improves school administration performance and supports real-time data management.

Abstract

Data imbalance represents a primary challenge in clustering analysis, particularly in datasets with highly disproportionate class distributions such as the Credit Card Fraud Detection dataset from Kaggle. This study aims to evaluate and compare the performance of the Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) and K-Means algorithms under such conditions through a systematic literature review of nine prior studies. Clustering quality is evaluated using three internal validation metrics: Silhouette Score, Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI), and Calinski-Harabasz Index (CHI). The findings indicate that GMM consistently produces more stable and flexible clusters in data with overlapping distributions, as its probabilistic approach through the Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm allows each data point to hold multiple cluster membership probabilities. In contrast, K-Means produces sharper cluster boundaries with lower computational complexity, yet remains sensitive to outliers and the spherical distribution assumption frequently unmet in imbalanced data. The dominance of the majority class risks distorting K-Means centroids, resulting in suboptimal detection of fraudulent transactions, whereas GMM proves more adaptive for this scenario despite its higher computational cost.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memungkinkan pemantauan dan pengendalian perangkat secara real-time melalui jaringan internet. Salah satu permasalahan yang masih sering terjadi di fasilitas umum, khususnya toilet, adalah keterlambatan pengisian tisu akibat tidak adanya sistem pemantauan otomatis. Hal ini menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan pengguna dan menurunkan kualitas pelayanan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Monitoring Ketersediaan Tisu Toilet dengan Sensor Time of Flight dan Notifikasi Real-Time via Android. Sistem menggunakan sensor ToF VL53L1X untuk mengukur jarak sebagai indikator sisa tisu. Data dikirimkan melalui internet dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi Blynk di smartphone Android. Ketika jumlah tisu berada pada batas minimum, sistem secara otomatis mengirimkan notifikasi kepada petugas kebersihan.Penelitian ini hanya berfokus pada penggunaan sensor ToF VL53L1X tanpa membandingkan dengan sensor lain. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan pengelolaan fasilitas toilet dapat menjadi lebih efisien, responsif, dan tepat waktu sehingga meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pemanas makanan otomatis yang terintegrasi pada tudung saji berbasis mikrokontroler dengan kontrol blink. Sistem menggunakan sensor suhu DS18B20 untuk memantau suhu makanan dan elemen pemanas PTC untuk menjaga suhu dalam kisaran aman 40–70°C. Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno berfungsi sebagai pusat kendali, memastikan operasi yang efisien dan otomatis. Penelitian menguji efektivitas sistem dalam mempertahankan suhu makanan serta efisiensi energinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini menjadi solusi praktis untuk menjaga makanan tetap hangat dengan mengurangi intervensi manual dan konsumsi energi. Inovasi ini bermanfaat bagi rumah tangga dan industri kuliner dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan penyajian makanan.
