Abstract

The employee attendance recording process in the company was previously conducted manually, causing delays, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in monitoring attendance. To address these issues, a mobile-based attendance system was designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility for both employees and management. The system was developed using web and Android platforms, with observation, interviews, literature study, and descriptive methods applied for requirements analysis and system design. Key features include employee login, real-time attendance recording, admin monitoring, and monthly attendance reports. Testing showed that the system accelerates the attendance process, reduces recording errors, and facilitates employee attendance monitoring. With the implementation of this system, the company can manage attendance data in a structured, transparent, and integrated manner, thereby enhancing human resource management quality.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology have encouraged the emergence of various innovations in the field of education, one of which is the use of interactive learning media. However, the teaching and learning process in elementary schools still largely relies on conventional methods that tend to be less engaging for students. This study aims to develop an interactive quiz-based learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 to create a more attractive and effective learning experience. The development method employed is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The developed media includes an introductory page, user identity input, multiple-choice questions, a timer, sound effects, background music, automatic score calculation, and an evaluation result page. The results indicate that the application is capable of providing interactive learning evaluation, is easy to use, and offers immediate feedback, thereby having the potential to enhance students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Time discipline is an important factor for daily life, especially in Islamic boarding schools. Various activities carried out by students such as congregational prayer, reciting the Koran, studying, and resting at night are carried out on a schedule/time determined by the boarding school administrators. However, the notification process to the students is done manually so that many students are careless in the matter of keeping time, so that it can cause delays and inefficiencies regarding the time determined by the Islamic boarding school. Perhaps with this learning, the aim is to design and implement an automatic alarm clock based on Ardino Uno using the Wokwi simulator as a medium for development and testing on students. The system utilizing this module is very valuable for students who are obedient in participating in activities both from congregational prayer activities and mandatory activities of the students. This system utilizes all aspects of the DS1307 real time clock (RTC) module to obtain time information conducively, an I2C LCD as a display medium and a buzzer as a sound notification device. This practical learning method was used to analyze requirements, design the system, implement simulations, and test its functionality. The results of this practical learning demonstrated that the system is capable of displaying the time in real time and providing automatic alarms according to the pre-programmed schedule of mandatory Islamic boarding school activities.

Abstract

Sectoral data management plays a vital role in supporting data-driven governance, particularly through the implementation of the ‘One Data Indonesia’ policy. This article aims to describe the processes of data management and data entry for the plantation sector at the South Sumatra Provincial Plantation Office in support of the ‘One Data South Sumatra’ Programme. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising data collection techniques such as direct observation and documentation. The findings indicate that the data management process involves several stages: checking the list of data requirements, verifying data availability, inputting available data into the ‘Satu Data’ portal, and documenting issues regarding data that is not yet available or finalised. Of the six key indicators requested, four are already available: the percentage increase in the production of rubber, coconut, oil palm and coffee. Meanwhile, the other two indicators—the area under plantation development and the percentage of plantation infrastructure development realised—are not yet available. Furthermore, some supporting data are still provisional figures for 2025 and therefore require further verification before they can be used as final data. These findings indicate that the success of sectoral data management is determined not only by the data input process, but also by data availability, clarity of data status, validation, and coordination between data producers and data custodians.

Abstract

Digital transformation has encouraged government institutions to improve data management as a foundation for decision-making and public service delivery. One of its implementations is the One Data Indonesia program, which is supported through the South Sumatra One Data Dashboard based on the Comprehensive Knowledge Archive Network (CKAN). This article aims to describe the implementation of sectoral data management at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of South Sumatra Province during the internship program. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, documentation, and direct participation in each stage of the data management process. The results indicate that the internship activities involved data collection, data inspection, verification, validation, metadata preparation, and data entry into the One Data Dashboard. Of the five data indicators managed by the Secretariat of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province, four indicators were available and successfully processed, while one indicator, namely the number of DPRD agendas facilitated according to schedule, could not be uploaded because the data were unavailable during the internship period. The internship provided practical experience in sectoral data management while supporting the implementation of data management at the Secretariat of the DPRD of South Sumatra Province through the utilization of the CKAN-based One Data Dashboard.

Abstract

The implementation of the One Data Indonesia policy encourages every government institution to manage data accurately, integratively, and sustainably to support data-driven governance and improve the quality of public services. The Social Service of South Sumatra Province, as one of the Regional Government Organizations, plays an important role in providing and managing sectoral data through the South Sumatra One Data Portal. This study aims to analyze the implementation of sectoral data management on the South Sumatra One Data Portal at the Social Service of South Sumatra Province. The research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques during the internship program. The results indicate that sectoral data management is carried out through data collection, verification, processing, input, and publication stages. Several obstacles were identified, including incomplete data, differences in data formats among divisions, and delays in data submission. Improvement efforts were made through enhanced coordination among divisions, data format standardization, and periodic verification, thereby supporting the availability of quality, integrated, and accountable data as a basis for planning, evaluation, and decision-making processes within the South Sumatra Provincial Government.

Abstract

The management and input of water resources data play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the One Data Program, which aims to create accurate, integrated, and accountable data across government institutions. This study discusses the process of managing and entering water resources data at the Water Resources Management Office of South Sumatra Province. The methods used include observation, documentation, and direct involvement in data processing activities within the One Data system. The results show that proper data management and systematic data entry can improve data quality, accessibility, and consistency, thereby supporting better decision-making and policy formulation. However, several challenges were identified, such as data inconsistencies, limited human resources, and technical constraints in system utilization. Therefore, improvements in coordination, training, and system optimization are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the One Data Program implementation.

Abstract

The implementation of the One Data Indonesia policy has encouraged government institutions to strengthen sectoral data governance in order to support evidence-based public administration. As one of the Regional Government Organizations, the Public Works Highways and Spatial Planning Office of South Sumatra Province is responsible for managing and providing sectoral data through the South Sumatra One Data Portal. This study aims to examine the implementation of sectoral data management during the internship program at the institution. A descriptive qualitative method was employed using observation, documentation, and direct participation in daily work activities. The results reveal that the data management process consists of data collection, metadata preparation, verification, data entry into the CKAN-based South Sumatra One Data Portal, validation, and administrative documentation. Throughout the internship, several challenges were identified, including incomplete supporting documents, the need for repeated verification, and coordination among work units to ensure data quality and consistency. The internship provided practical insights into the importance of data governance, collaboration, and accuracy in managing government data. Overall, effective sectoral data management supports the availability of reliable information that can be utilized for planning, monitoring, evaluation, and policy formulation within the Provincial Government of South Sumatra.

Abstract

Padang City has significant tourism potential, with a variety of natural, cultural, historical, and culinary destinations that attract tourists. However, information on visitor density levels and ticket purchasing services are still not integrated, making it difficult for tourists to obtain the latest information and book tickets efficiently. This research aims to design and build a Web-Based Visitor Density Monitoring and Ticket Purchase Information System to support the provision of real-time information and improve the effectiveness of tourism destination management in Padang City. The system was developed by integrating features for visitor density monitoring, online ticket purchasing, payment verification, data management for destinations, staff, and facilities, as well as the presentation of analytical reports. Based on the results of analysis, design, implementation, and testing, the system is able to integrate the monitoring and ticket transaction processes into a single platform, facilitating computerized data management. Real-time visitor density information helps tourists determine more convenient visit times, while the online ticket purchasing feature enhances transaction convenience. Furthermore, the resulting analytical reports support the Padang City Tourism Office in more effective monitoring, evaluation, and decision-making..

Abstract

Sumatera Barat memiliki potensi wisata bahari yang melimpah, namun wisatawan sering kesulitan memilih destinasi terbaik karena keterbatasan informasi objektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk menentukan destinasi wisata bahari terbaik secara objektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah integrasi Entropy untuk pembobotan kriteria secara objektif dan Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) untuk perankingan alternatif berdasarkan data dinamis yang diekstraksi langsung dari Google Maps (ulasan, rating, jarak, akomodasi, harga tiket, dan kelengkapan aktivitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria jumlah ulasan dan rating memiliki bobot pengaruh paling signifikan. Berdasarkan perhitungan Entropy-MABAC, destinasi pantai daratan utama seperti Pantai Gandoriah menempati peringkat teratas karena keunggulan aksesibilitas dan fasilitas, disusul oleh destinasi pulau. Kombinasi metode ini terbukti efektif, objektif, dan dinamis dalam membantu wisatawan menentukan pilihan destinasi wisata bahari.
