Abstract

MIT App Inventor, developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), is an innovative platform for creating Android applications without requiring complex programming skills. The platform is popular for its user-friendly interface and the ability to quickly develop various mobile applications, such as a voice-to-text Translator. Utilizing voice recognition technology and Speech To Text (STT), MIT App Inventor enables users to convert speech into text and translate it into other languages. Beyond facilitating teaching and learning with its intuitive interface, the platform introduces basic programming concepts to students from diverse backgrounds, promoting digital inclusion and supporting innovation in mobile app development.

Abstract

Mobile application development has become an important need in today's digital era. One particularly useful app is a language translator app, which facilitates cross-language communication effectively. This article discusses developing a translator application using MIT App Inventor. The drag-and-drop approach provided by MIT App Inventor allows developers, especially beginners, to create mobile applications without having in-depth programming knowledge. This application is designed to translate text from one language to another directly, utilizing a simple user interface to make it easier for users to interact with the application.

Abstract

In this journal, we explain the process of creating an Android-based digital library application using MIT App Inventor. This application is designed to make it easier for users to search, read and manage digital book collections. The development process involves requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing of applications.

Abstract

The prevalence of smartphones and their integrated sensors presents an opportunity to develop health-related applications easily accessible to users. This study explores the utilization of MIT App Inventor, a user-friendly platform, to create a mobile application for calculating calorie expenditure based on step counts. The application integrates Android device sensors to accurately track user steps and applies a formula to estimate calorie burn. The development process involves designing a user interface through visual programming, leveraging MIT App Inventor's blocks-based coding paradigm. A usability study was conducted to evaluate the application's functionality and user experience. Results indicate that the application effectively calculates calorie expenditure, providing users with valuable health insights. This research demonstrates the feasibility and accessibility of using MIT App Inventor for developing health-oriented applications, catering to the growing demand for personalized health monitoring tools on mobile platforms.

Abstract

This research aims to design a Cashier Information System using the Kodular platform for Citra Swalayan Padang, addressing challenges in managing daily transactions prone to data loss and errors due to manual processes. With a computerized cashier information system, all transactions are expected to be recorded and managed automatically, enhancing operational efficiency and shopping experience for customers with faster, accurate, and integrated information.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze customer satisfaction levels in e-commerce services and the factors influencing them. In the digital era, e-commerce has become a primary platform for consumers to conduct transactions, making a thorough understanding of customer satisfaction crucial for business sustainability. This study employs a survey method, distributing questionnaires to users of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia.The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and linear regression to identify the relationship between variables such as product quality, delivery speed, customer service, and platform usability on customer satisfaction.The results show that product quality and delivery speed significantly affect customer satisfaction. In addition, ease of navigation and platform usability also positively contribute to user satisfaction. Meanwhile, responsive customer service, although important, has a lower impact compared to other factors. This research provides important implications for e-commerce managers to improve service quality and increase customer satisfaction, particularly in terms of delivery speed and the quality of products offered.In conclusion, e-commerce companies must continuously enhance the service aspects that most influence customer satisfaction to maintain competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This study also suggests that future research should consider other variables, such as customer loyalty and price perception, to provide a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

SD Negeri Weri Kadu is one of the agencies engaged in education, where the data processing system carried out is still conventional, one of which is in the student attendance process. The student attendance process has obstacles in terms of collecting attendance data using sheets of paper, causing student attendance data recorded on the sheets to be easily lost, damaged and wasted paper. The purpose of this study is to design a web-based attendance application to make it easier for staff and teachers to carry out the student attendance process. The test method is used the Black box testing method, this method focuses on entering data, system display, memory consumption and data execution speed so that the data entered is not as expected, the system fails. The results of testing the application are admins, teachers and students logging in by entering the username and password to enter the main menu. The admin inputs teacher data, student data, class data, schedule data and subject data, while the teacher carries out the teaching attendance process, sees the schedule and recap of attendance and students carry out the attendance process by choosing the schedule as inputted by the admin. The conclusion of testing the attendance application system is that the input and output functionals go well to change the manual system that has been used so far.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Penyewaan Jasa Dekorasi Berbasis Web Helen Dekorasi merupakan rencana yang dibuat untuk membantu pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan dan pembayaran jasa dekorasi serta membantu admin owner dalam mengolah data pemesanan dan pembayaran jasa dekorasi dengan lebih baik. Proses pemesanan di Proyek helen dekorasi masih menggunakan metode semi teknologi yaitu menghubungi pelanggan langsung dengan pemilik melalui aplikasi Whatsapp. Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penyewaan Jasa Dekorasi Berbasis Web pada helen dekorasi ini mempunyai fitur galeri yang berisi proyek-proyek yang pernah dikerjakan oleh Proyek helen dekorasi dan terdapat paket-paket dekorasi yang dapat dipilih oleh pelanggan. Perancangan Sistem Informasi Perancangan Sistem Informasi menggunakan metodologi pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall. Database yang digunakan aplikasi ini menggunakan database MySQL. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah HTML, CSS dan PHP dengan Framework Bootstrap yang menghasilkan aplikasi web yang menarik dan dinamis. Dengan aplikasi web dinamis dapat membantu admin dalam mengakses dan mengolah data, serta membantu pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan dan transaksi yang mungkin mempengaruhi perkembangan bisnis.

Abstract

E-commerce has become a very important aspect of daily life in the digital era, increasing efficiency and ease of transactions. But these developments also pose significant risks to the security and privacy of customer data. In the e-commerce ecosystem, information technology (IT) is very important to maintain data security and maintain user privacy. The technologies and procedures used to protect consumer data privacy are discussed in this article. Examples include intrusion detection systems, multifactor authentication, and data encryption. The emergence of e-commerce in Indonesia has raised new prospects and difficulties regarding the confidentiality and security of consumer information. Data security and user privacy are major concerns that can be mitigated by information technology (IT). This article also discusses the difficulties in dealing with the challenges faced in its implementation that supports customer data protection. In addition, this article examines various technologies and strategies to be implemented in e-commerce that are expected to improve data security. A clearer understanding of the role of IT in e-commerce data security will hopefully increase customer confidence and drive long-term growth in the sector.

Abstract

This study aims to map the locations of hospitals in Padang City using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to improve accessibility and efficiency in the distribution of healthcare services. The mapping also aims to provide a clearer overview of the hospital distribution across the city, assisting the government in planning more equitable healthcare facilities. Data used in this study was obtained from available hospital databases and geographic coordinates recorded using a web-based GIS system. The mapping results show a concentration of hospitals in the city center, while the outskirts of Padang City still lack healthcare facilities. This mapping allows the public to easily access information on nearby hospital locations, while enabling the government to plan the construction of new hospitals in more strategic areas. This study also recommends integrating this GIS mapping with other health information systems to enhance decision-making in the healthcare sector.
