Abstract

The use of information technology in the National Police, such as the Criminal Investigation Information System application at the Jambi City Police, helps in processing police report data and handling criminal cases. However, challenges still exist because data processing is still manual, creating delays in reporting and investigating cases. Therefore, an application was created, "Criminal Data Processing Information System at the Jambi City Police based on Android," to speed up the process and make it easier for the public to report criminal cases. The objectives of this study are to help the process of serving criminal reports from manual to digital, processing data into information that can be useful for related parties, and making the process of making criminal reports more dynamic so that it becomes more effective and efficient. The study uses the waterfall method for systematic software development, starting from needs analysis to maintenance, with sequential stages: requirements, system design, coding & testing, program implementation, and maintenance. The overall conclusion of the Android-based Crime Information System Design application is that it helps crime victims, law enforcement in data management, and provides information on crime-prone areas.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of an E-Commerce system for CV Kerinci Grafika aimed at resolving issues related to manual payment processing and transaction verification that previously required considerable time. The system is integrated with the Midtrans Payment Gateway to ensure that transactions are processed automatically, securely, and efficiently. The application was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter 3 framework and a MySQL database. The research methodology employed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system requires input data such as products, customers, and user authentication through login and registration. The core processes include product management, shopping cart handling, order processing, and online payment transactions. The outputs generated include transaction invoices, purchase history, and payment reports. The implementation results show that the system successfully improves operational efficiency and accelerates the payment verification process at CV Kerinci Grafika.

Abstract

Posyandu Cempaka IV in Mekar Jaya Village still uses manual recording with books and Microsoft Excel in processing health data for mothers, toddlers, and the elderly. This often causes delays in data collection, writing errors, difficulties in data searching, and incomplete reports. Therefore, it is necessary to design a web-based information system that can assist posyandu cadres in managing data in a more structured and efficient manner. This study uses the Waterfall method with UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a modeling tool, and is developed using Visual Studio Code, PHP, MySQL, and XAMPP. The result of this research is a web-based information system that facilitates cadres in data collection and report generation, as well as providing convenience for the community in accessing information about posyandu services.

Abstract

In today's digital era, technology-based administrative systems are essential to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data management in the education sector. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Madrasatul Mahdaliyah Jambi still uses a manual student registration system, which often results in issues such as data entry errors, duplication, and delays in processing information. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based student administration information system using the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. This system is designed to facilitate the new student registration process, improve data accuracy, and provide easy access for students and school administrators in managing registration information. The results of this study indicate that the developed system improves administrative efficiency, reduces recording errors, and accelerates information access. Thus, the implementation of this system can be a solution to optimize student administration management at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Madrasatul Mahdaliyah Jambi.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based Academic Information System (SIAKAD) at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Karya Pembangunan Al-Hidayah, Jambi Province, to replace the manual process of academic data management. The system was developed to support the management of student biodata, grades, class schedules, attendance, and academic reporting in a more effective and efficient manner. System requirements include user data management, access rights control, grade and attendance input, schedule management, and automated academic report generation. The system was developed using the Laravel framework based on PHP with a Model–View–Controller (MVC) architecture and MySQL database. The development method applied was the iterative System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes the stages of requirements analysis, design, coding, and repeated testing according to user needs. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing to ensure that all functions operated according to specifications, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate the level of user acceptance in terms of usability, accessibility, and feature suitability. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Academic Information System improved the efficiency, accuracy, and security of academic data management. The system is equipped with security features such as protection against SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and also provides instant reporting features in PDF and Excel formats. Therefore, the system serves as an effective solution to support the digitalization of academic administration in the madrasa environment

Abstract

Accreditation document management in higher education requires organized storage, consistent classification, and fast retrieval of supporting evidence. In practice, accreditation documents are often distributed across study programs, faculties, quality assurance units, and various storage folders, making retrieval time-consuming and increasing the risk of incomplete evidence during accreditation preparation. This study aims to develop a web-based accreditation document search application at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi using the Prototype method. The development stages include requirements gathering, quick design, prototype construction, user evaluation, refinement, implementation, and functional testing. The system was built using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. The main features include user login, document dashboard, document upload, keyword-based search, filtering by faculty, study program, accreditation criteria, document type, and year, document management, preview, download, and recap by criteria. Functional testing using ten black-box scenarios showed that core features operated according to the expected results. The system contributes by providing a centralized accreditation document repository that supports faster document retrieval, more orderly evidence classification, and internal quality assurance activities. Further studies should measure retrieval time, user satisfaction, and system usability quantitatively.
