Abstract

Idea Shoes Laundry Shop is an entrepreneur who is engaged in the laundry/washing of shoes, all of whose activities are still using a manual system. The purpose of this research is to assist the store in designing a service information system at the Ide Shoes Store. This sales information system can help the store in terms of promoting its business to the public. The design of this information system uses a web-based method. With the design of a web profile and promotional media for this shoe laundry, it makes it easier for laundromats to introduce their business to many people.

Abstract

E-commerce is an online sales system by utilizing internet technology. E-commerce provides convenience for customers who want to make purchases and make it easier for stores to sell products in order to expand their marketing reach. Distro Today is a store engaged in the sale of men's and women's clothing and serves shoe,bags, and wearpack washing services. The sales system in Distro Today still uses a manual system, soithas limited marketing areas and buyers. To solve the problem, Distro Today E-commerce was created that can handle online sales. Distro Today e-commerce was developed with structured system analysis and desaign (SSAD) model, PHP programming language and MySQL database management system.E- commerce as a promotional medium, providing product information, ordering transaction services for customers, and automatic recording of sales transactions so as to help improve the sales and expanding the Distro Today market.

Abstract

Rimba Petshop is a store that sells a variety of products, including pet food and dog food. It also sells a variety of pet supplies, including cages, vitamins, and animal soap, and offers pet grooming services. Rimba Petshop's sales and promotion systems are still conventional and do not utilize electronic media. The methodology used in this research includes field research, library research, and laboratory research. The design method used in developing the marketing information system application at Rimba Petshop Bangko Jambi is a structured design method, starting with a global context diagram and then expanding it to a more detailed form, namely a Data Flow Diagram. The system and database design for the marketing information system at Rimba Petshop Bangko Jambi utilizes a web programming language, comprising a design for components or visual and non-visual objects, along with a graphical interface for data input and visitor interfaces for the Rimba Petshop Bangko Jambi marketing information system.

Abstract

Advances in information technology provide opportunities in health data analysis, particularly in the nutritional status of toddlers. This study applies data mining methods using the K-Means and Decision Tree algorithms to quickly and accurately group and classify the nutritional status of toddlers. K-Means is used to group data based on age, weight, and height into categories of good, poor, and very poor nutrition. The clustering results are then fed into the Decision Tree, which generates data-based nutritional intervention recommendations. This study used a quantitative approach with Orange Tools and a dataset of toddlers from the Paal Lima Community Health Center in Jambi City. The test results showed a classification accuracy of 92.3% and a 30% increase in nutritional analysis efficiency compared to the manual method. Thus, the application of data mining has proven to be effective in supporting community health centers in decision-making and improving toddler health services.

Abstract

Learning styles are an essential factor influencing the effectiveness of the learning process. Each student has different tendencies, such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. This study aims to analyze the learning styles of elementary school students using the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method. The data consisted of report card scores from nine subjects, representing academic achievement, and a learning style questionnaire. The questionnaire results indicated that 19 students (43.18%) preferred visual learning, 6 students (13.64%) auditory, 10 students (22.73%) kinesthetic, and 9 students (20.45%) had mixed learning styles. FCM was chosen because it allows clustering with multiple memberships, enabling students to belong to more than one learning style category. A total of 44 students’ data were processed using MATLAB and Microsoft Excel. The clustering results identified three main clusters: visual (C1) with 18 students (40.91%), auditory (C2) with 12 students (27.27%), and kinesthetic (C3) with 14 students (31.82%). These findings provide useful insights for teachers to design more effective teaching strategies tailored to students’ learning styles.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) for Mapping Tourist Destinations in Jambi Province at the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jambi Province. The system was developed to overcome the limitations of tourism promotion media, which previously relied only on social media, resulting in less structured information. The research applied the waterfall method, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system was built using the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Leaflet JS library with OpenStreetMap as the base map. The results show that the system can present tourist destination information in an interactive digital map, complete with location details, descriptions, facilities, galleries, accommodations, and tour guides. This system enables the public to access tourism information more easily and provides the department with a more effective tool for managing and promoting tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a Marriage Information System that can assist the KUA in managing marriage data more effectively, efficiently, and accurately. The research employs the Waterfall Model approach, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews with KUA staff, and documentation studies of marriage records. The results indicate that the developed information system is capable of managing prospective bride and groom data as well as marriage records in a structured manner, accelerating the recording and retrieval process, and producing more accurate administrative reports. Moreover, the system reduces recording errors that commonly occur in manual processes. Therefore, the implementation of this information system contributes to improving the effectiveness and transparency of marriage administration services at KUA Maro Sebo Ilir and supports the digitalization of public services within the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of the Smartoffice application within the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) section of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Jambi Province to improve the efficiency and security of administrative management for incoming letters and diploma legalization. The identified issues include the malfunctioningCAPTCHA code during the login process, which reduces system security, and the absence of data separation between incoming letters and diploma legalization, making document retrieval and management difficult. This research applies the Waterfall methodology, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The development results include fixing the CAPTCHA function, adding data separation basedon service categories, and implementing a more efficient document search feature. The system was implemented using PHP programming language and MySQL database. Testing results indicate that the system improves access security, speeds up document retrieval, andfacilitates officers in managing administrative services digitally.

Abstract

Advances in information technology are encouraging businesses to utilize online media for marketing and ordering products and services. Catering Zhafirah Jambi capitalized on this opportunity by building a web-based marketing and ordering system to improve operational efficiency and simplify customer transactions. This system was developed using the Laravel framework, PHP programming language, and MySQL database, with key features including a menu catalog, order form, online payment, customer data management, and testimonials. System requirements included inputs in the form of user data, menus, orders, admin, and payment methods; processes such as registration, login, ordering, payment, menu management, orders, and reviews; and outputs in the form of sales reports, order confirmations, menu lists, and order statuses. Test results showed the system performed well, with an easy-to-use interface, and accelerated ordering and data management. This system is expected to improve customer service while expanding Catering Zhafirah Jambi's market reach.

Abstract

Pharmacies are one of the places that distribute pharmaceutical supplies to the public. With fierce competition in the business world, especially in the pharmacy industry, pharmacies need to find the right strategy to improve their business progress. One way to overcome this is by maintaining the availability of various types of medicines needed by consumers. This study was conducted to predict medication purchasing transaction patterns at Bintang Farma Pharmacy in Jambi City using the Apriori Algorithm. The Apriori Algorithm was chosen because of its ability to identify associations or relationships between items in transaction datasets. This provides a more accurate picture of medication purchase transaction patterns. The data used includes medication purchase transaction data from January to May 2025, which was analyzed using manual calculations and assisted by RapidMiner software. The results of this study indicate that the Apriori algorithm is capable of determining medication purchase transaction patterns with an acceptable error rate, making it a reliable reference for maintaining medication availability and improving pharmacy services.
