Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Life Balance and work stress on job satisfaction of Bank Nagari Main Branch Padang employees. The population in this study were all employees of Bank Nagari Main Branch Padang totaling 183 people. The sample in this study was 122 people. This study is a quantitative study. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results of the study using multiple linear regression analysis showed that simultaneously there was an effect of Work Life Balance and work stress on job satisfaction and partially Work Life Balance had a positive effect on job satisfaction, partially work stress had a positive effect on job satisfaction

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), leadership, and organizational culture on employee performance at the Bureau of Administrative Leadership, Regional Secretariat of West Sumatra Province. Using a quantitative approach, this research aims to assess the extent to which these three variables contribute to improving employee performance. Data were collected through a survey of 75 employees at the Bureau of Administrative Leadership using a total sampling method. Data processing and analysis were conducted using SPSS version 23 software with multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that among the three variables examined, leadership has the most significant influence on employee performance. This suggests that effective leadership can enhance motivation, increase productivity, and instill greater work discipline within the bureaucratic environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah strategi pemasaran, khususnya di platform e-commerce seperti Shopee. Affiliate Program dan Live Streaming menjadi fitur utama yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian produk fashion. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedua strategi pemasaran digital tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa Universitas Dharma Andalas. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 110 responden dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) affiliate program berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk fashion di Shopee, 2) live streaming berpengaruh positif dan signifiikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion di Shopee, 3) Affiliate Program dan Live Streaming secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pelaku bisnis fashion di Shopee dalam mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran digital. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mempertimbangkan variabel lain seperti ulasan pelanggan dan pengalaman belanja online guna memperkaya pemahaman tentang perilaku konsumen di e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Human Resource Planning, Talent Management, and Knowledge Management on Nurse Performance at RS TK.III.Reksodiwiryo Padang. The population in this study were all nurses at RS TK.III.Reksodiwiryo Padang totaling 201 people. The sample in this study was 127 people. This study is a quantitative study. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results of the study using multiple linear regression analysis showed that simultaneously there was an influence of HR planning, talent management, and knowledge management on employee performance and partially HR planning had a positive effect on employee performance, partially talent management had a positive effect on employee performance and partially knowledge management had a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Digital Literacy, Academic Atmosphere, and Internship Experience on the Work Readiness of students in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Dharma Andalas University. The population in this study consists of active undergraduate Management students from the 2018 to 2024 cohorts, totaling 517 students. The sample for this study consists of 114 students, specifically active students from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts, as they are considered proficient in using digital devices due to the implementation of online learning during COVID-19, and students who have taken internship courses. This study is categorized as quantitative research. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The results of the study, using multiple linear regression analysis, indicate that digital literacy, academic atmosphere, and internship experience simultaneously have a significant influence on work readiness. Additionally, digital literacy has a positive partial effect on work readiness, the academic atmosphere has a positive partial effect on work readiness, and internship experience has a positive partial effect on work readiness.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of lifestyle on consumer purchasing decisions in fashion thrifting, with purchase intention as an intervening variable using a quantitative method. The research aims to determine the effect of lifestyle on consumer purchasing decisions in fashion thrifting, with purchase intention as an intervening variable. This study employs a survey method with a quantitative approach, where data was collected from 96 respondents who are thrifting consumers. The population in this study consists of all consumers who purchase fashion thrifting in Padang City, with an unknown exact number, and the research sample was selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to all respondents, which were then analyzed using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling – Least Square). The results show that lifestyle has a direct and significant effect on purchasing decisions, although this effect becomes stronger when mediated by purchase intention. The intervening variable test indicates that purchase intention strengthens the relationship between lifestyle and purchasing decisions. Thus, purchase intention serves as a significant intervening variable in this study.

Abstract

This study is a survey research conducted on employees of PT. JNE Padang. The study is titled "The Effect of Work Stress and Workload on Turnover Intention at PT. JNE Padang." The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work stress and workload on turnover intention. This research is quantitative, and the data collection methods include surveys, questionnaires, and interviews. The population in this study consists of all employees of PT. JNE Padang, totaling 229 individuals. The sample size for this study is 127 permanent employees. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which involves selecting samples based on specific criteria. Based on the research findings and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions), the results indicate that: 1). Work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. 2). Workload has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. 3). Work stress and workload together have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. The implication of these conclusions is that efforts should be made to reduce turnover intention at PT. JNE Padang. Measures that can be taken to lower turnover intention include reducing work stress and workload, thereby decreasing turnover intention.

Abstract

Unemployment remains a significant economic and social challenge in Indonesia. One solution to address this issue is to increase entrepreneurial interest among students. This study aims to analyze the influence of family environment, entrepreneurship education, and income expectations on the entrepreneurial interest of undergraduate management students at Dharma Andalas University.This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 169 students who have taken the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that the family environment and entrepreneurship education have a positive and significant impact on students' entrepreneurial interest. In contrast, income expectations have a positive but insignificant influence.These findings suggest that, in addition to formal education, family support plays a crucial role in encouraging students to pursue entrepreneurship. Therefore, universities should enhance practice-based learning methods, and families are expected to provide greater encouragement to help students gain the confidence to start their own businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of burnout, work stress and workload on nurse performance at RS TK III Reksodiwiryo Padang. The population in this study were all nurses at Dr. Reksodiwiryo Padang Hospital totaling 201 people. The sample in this study was 127 people. This study is a quantitative study. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results of the study using multiple linear regression analysis showed that simultaneously there was a negative and significant effect on the burnout and workload variables on nurse performance and the work stress variable had a significant effect on nurse performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style, knowledge management and skills on the performance of police members of the West Sumatra Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Directorate. Leadership Style is behavior and strategy as a result of a combination of philosophies, skills, traits and attitudes that a leader often applies as he tries to influence the satisfaction of his subordinates. Knowledge Management is information about a particular field by a person. Therefore, Knowledge Management can be developed through formal and informal education. Skills are the capacity needed to carry out several tasks which are the development of the training results and experience gained. In addition to the training needed to develop skills, skills also require basic skills (basic obility) to do work easily and appropriately. Performance is a means of managing an agency that aims to achieve decision-making and accountability. The object of this research was carried out at the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the West Sumatra Police. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, the number of population and the number of samples in this study are all members of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the West Sumatra Police totaling 60 people with sampling techniques using saturated sampling techniques (census). The data collection method uses the observation method and the distribution of questionnaires with Likert scale measurements. The data analysis techniques in this study are research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis tests using the SPSS version 22 program. The results of hypothesis testing in this study show that 1) leadership style partially has a positive and significant effect on performance, 2) knowledge management partially has a positive and significant effect on performance, 3) skills simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance, 4) leadership style, knowledge management, and skills simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance.
