Elconika merupakan Jurnal Teknik Elektro Universitas Hasyim Asy`ari Tebuireng Jombang. Jurnal Elconika pertama kali dibentuk berdasarkan SK Nomor: 001/KEP/UNHASY/FT/TE/VIII/2022 tanggal 22 Maret 2022. Jurnal Elconika terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, pada bulan Desember dan Juni. Terbitan pertama, Vol. 1 No. 1 (2022), diterbitkan pada bulan Desember 2022. Abstract

Sumber Daya mineral Indonesia tersebar, salah satunya berada di Kabupaten Jombang. Kabupaten ini memiliki mineral Kaolinate. Kaolinite memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan bahan dasar pembuatan bata tahan api. Penelitian ini berhasil membuat bata tahan api dengan suhu pembakaran dengan rentang 900oC-1100oC yang kemudian dianalisis karakteristik termalnya. Karakteristik ini sangat penting karena bata tahan api difungsikan untuk mendistribusikan panas ketika proses peleburan atau pemanasan tungku. Analisis perhitungan Konduktivitas Termal terdapat pada sampel dengan kandungan fireclay sebesar 70% yakni sebesar 1.291(W.m/°C). Sedangkan pada fireclay sebesar 60% konduktivitas termal sebesar 1.271 (W.m/°C).

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with significant potential for developing solar energy. However, one of the challenges in the electricity sector is the reliance on fossil fuels as the primary energy source. To mitigate the impact of this dependence on fossil fuels, it is crucial to explore new sources of renewable electricity. Solar cells, which convert sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) rays into electrical current, offer a promising solution. Sunlight is a sustainable and abundant energy source, making it a viable option for future energy production. Due to the nature of solar cells, which depend on sunlight, the output they produce is variable and influenced by changing weather conditions. Therefore, energy storage solutions, such as lithium-ion batteries, are needed to store the electricity generated by solar cells. This study will examine the characteristics and efficiency of solar cell input on the capacity of lithium-ion battery storage systems, focusing on the relationship between sunlight intensity and the generated current and voltage. An off-grid photovoltaic (PV) system relies solely on solar energy, utilizing a series of photovoltaic modules. Consequently, sunlight intensity significantly impacts the solar cell's performance by affecting the voltage and current produced, which in turn influences the system's performance. This research aims to assess the efficiency, advantages, and disadvantages of comparing the output results between series and parallel configurations of solar cells to meet desired needs. Testing and data collection will be conducted using simulations with PV Syst and Meteonorm software.

Abstract

This research investigates the performance of the EPS75-4815AF rectifier in maintaining stable power for servers. The efficient implementation of rectifiers can help prevent overheating, ensure network stability, and optimize energy usage. The study employs real-time monitoring, power distribution evaluation, and device replacement with higher efficiency. The findings indicate that rectifiers with larger capacities and efficient cooling systems offer more stable and effective results. Regular maintenance and proper device layout design that promotes optimal air circulation are also significant factors for success in server power stability. This research emphasizes the importance of rectifiers in converting AC to DC power for servers and highlights methods for improving their performance to enhance power stability and optimize energy efficiency.

Abstract

PT. Garuda Media Telematics is an internet service provider (ISP), this company really needs electrical energy to operate 24 hours a day. However, the electricity source distributed by PLN is not continuously available, sometimes sudden power outages will of course be a problem and loss for the company. Therefore, the use of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and Automatic Generator Start (AGS) is the main technology in electrical automation systems to maintain power reliability. ATS operates on the front line when the power goes out, automatically switching from the main power source to a backup generator in a matter of seconds, ATS ensures that the electricity load will continue to be supplied without any interruption. Meanwhile, AGS will activate the electricity generator automatically when there is a power outage or disruption to the main power source. This system is important to ensure that the backup generator is activated when needed to meet the company's electricity needs.

Abstract

In our daily lives, we certainly cannot be separated from frozen processed foods that we usually find in supermarkets or other frozen food stores. There are many frozen processed foods that we can find on the market, one example is frozen chicken, frozen duck, frozen sausage and so on. PT. Phalosari Unggul Jaya is a company that focuses on the field of chicken, duck cutting and providing frozen processed or ingredients made from chicken. To meet the needs of frozen food in the community, PT. Phalosari Unggul Jaya now utilizes Air Blast Freezer technology or what is commonly called ABF, Air Blast Freezer is one of the food freezing tools in the world of refrigeration. In one ABF system, there are several supporting tools or components to support the running of this ABF system. One of the important tools or components for the running of the ABF ABF system is the condenser. The condenser is a tool in the refrigeration system of a cooling machine that functions as a heat transfer in the refrigerant that has a high temperature will be absorbed and then blown by the heat-inhibiting media in the condenser so that the refrigerant vapor condenses into liquid. The condenser is one of the important elements and its existence is very vital in a cooling system. The condenser acts as a heat evaporator from the refrigerant that has previously been compressed or compressed in the compressor for the refrigerant to be channeled back into the evaporator.

Abstract

WeChat Pay is a company focused on electronic financial services. Along with the rapid development of the digital era, many new e-wallets have emerged. To remain competitive and survive in an increasingly tight competition, WeChat Pay needs to formulate the right business strategy. One important step is to plan a strategy for the effective development of WeChat Pay. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop a strategic plan for WeChat Pay that can contribute positively and innovatively in supporting the achievement of business strategy goals to enhance competitiveness in its services. This paper adopts the Ward and Peppard framework to plan information systems strategy and evaluate internal and external business environment factors. WeChat Pay’s business strategic planning is analyzed using the Balanced Scorecard, while the portfolio of WeChat Pay’s applications is mapped using McFarlan’s Strategic Grid Analysis. Ultimately, this paper provides recommendations for the organization, including: improving service performance, customer relationship management, employee training and certification, market expansion, and integration with other e-wallets.

Abstract

Differential equations play a crucial role in the analysis and design of electronic filters used in various applications, such as communication, signal processing, and control systems. This research aims to explore the application of differential equations in designing electronic filters, particularly in determining frequency response and system stability. The methods employed in this research include mathematical modeling of filters using first and second-order differential equations, as well as numerical simulations to evaluate filter performance. The results of the study demonstrate that the application of differential equations enables the design of filters with optimal frequency characteristics, whether in low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, or band-stop filters. The conclusion of this research affirms that differential equations are an effective tool in optimizing the design of electronic filters for various industrial and academic needs

Abstract

An optimal attendance system is required to accurately record student attendance, which will ultimately affect their final grades. In the mentoring segment of the PAI-SPAI UPI Tutorial, a Google Apps Script-based attendance system implementing the Haversine formula is used. This research aims to analyse the attendance system to identify any issues that may cause data inaccuracies, rendering the system ineffective. The study employs qualitative and quantitative approaches, utilizing interviews, observations, literature reviews, and experiments. The results show that out of 5 Android devices and 5 iOS devices tested, 2 Android devices and 1 iOS device encountered issues preventing them from recording attendance. Additionally, the system's location accuracy and consistency were only 44.82%, which falls under the "moderately accurate" category, though it is close to the threshold of being "less accurate" (<40%). The research also identified a data overwriting issue, where existing attendance data was erased and replaced by newly submitted data within an extremely short timeframe. As a result, some participants who had already marked their attendance were not recorded. In conclusion, the attendance system used in the mentoring segment of the PAI-SPAI UPI Tutorial is still not optimal or effective, necessitating further development to improve its performance.

Abstract

Pertanian merupakan sektor penting dalam kehidupan manusia karena menyuplaikebutuhan pangan dan bahan baku industri. Seiring meningkatnya populasi dunia, tantangansektor ini semakin kompleks, seperti perubahan iklim dan penggunaan sumber daya yang kurangefisien. Oleh karena itu, teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang sistem monitoringagrikultur berbasis Long Range (LoRa) dan Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini memungkinkanpemantauan suhu, kelembapan tanah, dan kecepatan angin secara real-time melalui aplikasi Moni.Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan akses internet di lahan pertanian sertakebutuhan petani akan data lingkungan yang akurat untuk pengambilan keputusan yang efektif.Sistem menggunakan mikrokontroler Wemos D1 Mini, sensor DHT11, sensor kelembapan tanah,dan anemometer. Data dikirim melalui LoRa ke perangkat penerima dan diteruskan ke aplikasiMoni melalui jaringan internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental denganpengujian akurasi sensor serta jangkauan komunikasi LoRa. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistemmampu memantau parameter lingkungan dengan akurasi tinggi, rata-rata di atas 95%, sertajangkauan LoRa efektif hingga 200 meter dalam kondisi terhalang dan 300 meter tanpa hambatan.Sistem ini diharapkan membantu petani mengelola lahan secara lebih efisien.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan sensor Max30100 yang bertujuan untuk (1)mengukur denyut jantung dan kadar oksigen dalam darah menggunakan nodemcu ESP32berbasis IoT, (2) menganalisis hasil pengujian sensor Max30100 untuk mengukur denyut jantungdan kadar oksigen dalam darah. Sensor Max30100 merupakan perangkat optik yang mampumendeteksi sinyal denyut jantung dan kadar saturasi oksigen (SpO₂) dalam darah melaluipemindaian cahaya pada jaringan tubuh. Data hasil pengukuran ditampilkan melalui LCD 16x2serta dikirim secara nirkabel ke aplikasi blynk pada smartphone, sehingga pengguna dapatmemantau kondisi kesehatannya secara praktis. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakanmikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pusat pemrosesan dan konektivitas, serta diuji pada sepuluhresponden dengan lima jari tangan berbeda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat mampumenghasilkan data dengan tingkat rata-rata akurasi denyut jantung 97,19% dan untuk rata-ratanilai akurasi kadar oksigennya 98,32% jika dibandingkan dengan alat konvensional, baik untukparameter denyut jantung maupun kadar oksigen. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasisensor Max30100 dan ESP32 dapat digunakan sebagai sistem monitoring kesehatan yang efektif,fleksibel, dan terjangkau untuk aplikasi pribadi maupun medis.
