Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Pohuwato Regency Regional Government during the 2018-2022 period, with a focus on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on regional financial management. The methods used include financial ratio analysis, which includes the ratio of independence, effectiveness, efficiency, and degree of fiscal decentralization. The results of the study show that during the pandemic, there was a significant shift in regional expenditure allocation, where operational expenditure increased while capital expenditure decreased. The regional financial independence ratio shows a high dependence on transfers from the central government, while Regional Original Revenue (PAD) has stagnated. This study also found that budget management through the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) needs to be improved to ensure a more optimal allocation of funds in supporting development programs. This finding is expected to provide recommendations for local governments in formulating policies that are more effective and responsive to the needs of the community and increase regional competitiveness. Thus, this financial performance analysis is important in order to achieve sustainable development goals in Pohuwato Regency.

Abstract

MotoGP Mandalika, a global event attracting domestic and international tourists, significantly impacts the hospitality industry. This study investigates how increased hotel rates during MotoGP Mandalika influence tourist satisfaction and loyalty. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data from 126 respondents staying in Mandalika hotels were analyzed through regression, descriptive statistics, and reliability tests. Results reveal that while higher rates correlate positively with perceived service quality and facilities, they do not significantly impact satisfaction. Facilities and service quality emerge as key drivers of both satisfaction and loyalty. The findings suggest the need for strategic management in pricing and service delivery during major events to balance industry goals and tourist expectations.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of workload and job satisfaction on turnover intention among marketing employees at PT. Bintang Alam Jaya. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the research collected data through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings reveal that excessive workload, such as high sales targets and additional responsibilities, significantly increases turnover intention. Concurrently, low job satisfaction, influenced by inadequate compensation, lack of recognition, and unfulfilled reward expectations, exacerbates the issue. Statistical analysis demonstrates that workload has a positive correlation with turnover intention, while job satisfaction negatively correlates with it. The study underscores the need for targeted interventions, including workload redistribution, improved reward systems, and fostering a supportive work environment. These measures are critical for reducing turnover rates and enhancing employee retention, contributing to the company’s long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study explores the development of micro-enterprises in the tourism sector in Kabila Bone District through the lens of the entity concept. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data collected from business actors in the region. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, which allows for a detailed depiction of the variables being studied and their measurements. The results indicate that the application of the entity concept among micro-enterprises in the tourism sector remains partial. Many business owners still integrate personal and business finances, which complicates the accurate assessment of business performance. However, despite this limitation, these micro-enterprises continue to show growth and development. Key initiatives include diversifying product and service offerings and upgrading business facilities to attract more customers and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, the study highlights the adaptability of micro-business owners in responding to challenges within the tourism industry. This adaptability is evidenced by the willingness to innovate, improve operational practices, and seek new market opportunities. These efforts underscore the entrepreneurial spirit of business actors in Kabila Bone District. The findings emphasize the need for greater awareness and implementation of the entity concept among micro-enterprises. By adopting this approach, business owners can separate personal and business finances, improving financial accountability and enabling better strategic decision-making. Furthermore, the study underscores the importance of government and institutional support in providing education and resources to help micro-enterprises thrive in the competitive tourism sector.
