Abstract

Incubation is one strategy to develop UMKM or startups. Several local governments are trying to implement incubation programs to accelerate the emergence of new businesses in their areas. The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Government has formed a new institution called BRIDA (Regional Innovation Research Agency) which is tasked with handling the incubation process. The question that arises is whether this incubation process is in line with the existing incubation concept. This study uses a qualitative approach through interviews and observations at BRIDA NTB. This study involved interviews with BRIDA managers and tenant members there. The results of the study indicate that the incubation process at BRIDA is in accordance with startup incubation standards, namely BRIDA NTB provides a form of assistance by presenting experienced mentors in various fields, from formulating business ideas to implementing them in the field in covering various important aspects of business development. And BRIDA NTB provides facilities in the form of a place, processing business permits, and free business marketing networks. However, there are obstacles in the follow-up of startup businesses that are still unclear, as well as the limited budget of the local government which makes startup development less than optimal.

Abstract

This study explores the potential of swamp buffalo tourism in Paharangan Village, South Kalimantan, as a means to improve community welfare. By examining the cultural and economic value of swamp buffalo, the study highlights how community-based tourism could enhance local livelihoods and support sustainable development. Using interviews, observations, and SWOT analysis, findings reveal that swamp buffalo tourism has strong potential due to the cultural uniqueness of the buffalo and the village’s natural setting, despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and marketing support. Opportunities lie in the growing interest in eco-tourism and cultural experiences, which could position Paharangan as a distinctive destination. The study recommends a community-based model for tourism development, involving locals directly in planning, training, and promotional activities, thus enabling economic benefits and preserving cultural heritage. This research underscores the role of community-driven tourism in enhancing rural welfare and sustaining traditional practices in alignment with environmental conservation goals.

Using the SERVQUAL model, which includes five dimensions of service quality—tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy—the research aims to identify which aspects most influence customer satisfaction. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression. Findings reveal that service quality positively affects customer satisfaction, with responsiveness and assurance being the most significant dimensions. Based on these results, improvements in staff training and facility quality are recommended to enhance service delivery and overall visitor experience. The criteria for being used as a sample in this study are people domiciled in NTB who have made online purchases on Traveloka with at least one transaction. Through a quantitative approach, this study will collect data using an online questionnaire to 100 respondents with a sample collection technique in the form of simple random sampling. This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) data analysis method with the help of Smart-PLS software version 4.0. The results of the study indicate that Service Quality does not have a significant effect on Repurchase Intention, but on Consumer Satisfaction it has a significant effect. Customer Satisfaction has a significant effect on Repurchase Intention, and Customer Satisfaction can mediate Service Quality on Repurchase Intention.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of cost transparency and the competence of village apparatus on the quality of village financial reports, focusing on villages in Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research employs a quantitative method, using primary data collected through questionnaires with Likert scale measurements. A total of 117 respondents from various sub-districts in Boalemo Regency were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), processed through the AMOS 24 software. The results of the study indicate that cost transparency does not have a significant effect on the quality of village financial reports. However, the competence of village officials has a positive and significant impact on the quality of the reports. Furthermore, when considered together, both cost transparency and village apparatus competence contribute positively and significantly to the quality of village financial reports, as evidenced by an R-squared value of 71.9%. The remaining 28.1% of the variation in financial report quality is influenced by factors not included in this research model. The study is supervised by Mr. Harun Blongkod, S.Pd., Ak., M.SA as supervisor I, and Lukman Pakaya, S.Pd., MSA as supervisor II, in the Accounting Study Program, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University.

Abstract

Employee Performance Improvement. 2) To find out and analyze the influence of motivation on improving employee performance. 3) To find out and analyze the Influence of Work Culture and Motivation on Employee Performance in Logistics Affairs, Sub-Section Planning and Administration of Police Headquarters Services. This research approach is quantitative, descriptive and associative. In this study the authors narrowed the population, namely the number of employees of the Logistics Affairs Sub-Division of Planning and Administration of the Police Headquarters Service of 100 employees. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the t-value for the Work Culture variable (X1) is 3.950 while the t-table value for N = 31 is 2.039. So 3.950 > 2.039, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be stated that Work Culture (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). 2) the tcount value for the Motivation variable (X2) is 2,986, while the ttable value for N = 31 is 2,039. So 2,986> 2,039, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that the motivation variable (X2) partially affects employee performance (Y). 3) ANOVA obtained Fcount value of 14.111 Medium Ftable ( 0.05) for N = 31 of 2.91. So Fcount > from Ftable ( 0.05) or 14.111 > 2.91 with a significant level of 0.000 because 0.000 <0.05, it can be said that Work Culture (X1) and Motivation (X2) together have a positive effect on Employee Performance (Y). Adjusted R Square (R2) value is 0.466. This shows that 46.6% of Work Culture (X1) and Motivation (X2) simultaneously affect Employee Performance (Y) while the remaining 53.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
