Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of contributions (1) academic supervision, school culture, teacher competence on the performance of teachers at the Saptosari Gunungkidul Vocational School (2) the school principal's academic supervision of teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul Vocational School (3) school culture on teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul District Vocational High School (4) teacher competency on teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul State Vocational School. This research is a quantitative study, and is a research population where the population of the study is all teachers of the Saptosari Vocational High School which number 73 teachers. This study uses an ex-post facto approach, namely by testing what has happened to the research subjects. Data was collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Validate the contents of the expert judgment to examine the questionnaire instruments on material, language and measurement aspects. The construct validity of the instrument was tested using the product moment correlation technique from Carl Pearson. The reliability of the research instruments was tested by the Cronbach Alpha coefficient test. Data analysis was carried out after test requirements analysis, namely normality, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Academic supervision of principals, school culture, and teacher competencies on their own and together provide a positive contribution to the improvement of the performance of Saptosari State Vocational School teachers. This means that whenever there is an increase in the three variables, the performance of teachers in Saptosari District Vocational Schools will increase, 2) The results of the analysis show that teacher competencies make the greatest contribution to the work of Saptosari District Vocational School teachers, and academic supervision that provides the least contribution to the performance of state vocational school teachers as fast as Saptosari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much contribution effect training of participation, achievement motivation, and mastery of pedagogical competence simultaneously and partially to the teachers professionalism of Junior High School in Magelang City 2017/2018 academic year. This research is a quantitative type of research. The population in this study were all Public Junior School teachers in Magelang City, which numbered 496 people for level of error of 5% or 95% confidence level. The number of this sample was 178 people. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling. Data collection is done through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis, analysis techniques prerequisite analysis include normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test, regression analysis, F test, partial correlation and determination test. After validity and reliability tests were obtained that 29 questions from 30 items of questions motivation for valid and reliable achievement, 30 questions of pedagogic competence and 30 questions of teacher professionalism all declared valid and reliable. The results of this study indicate that the Education Quality Management there is positive and significant participation of the training, achievement motivation, mastery of pedagogical competence of the teachers' professionalism Junior High School in Magelang year 2017/2018, meaning that the higher participation of the training, achievement motivation and competence of a pedagogic then Professionalism teachers will increase. The results of the research can be used as input for principals and teachers to improve the professionalism of teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of caharacter education curricullum in the context of achieving quality education which includes implementation strategies, the relationship of character education with the quality of education and the role of pricipals and the teachers in student character building in Primary school Satu Atap Pakis Magelang. This research was a descriptive qualitative study. Data sources were obtained from in-depth interviews with 4 informants and 5 additional informants. Source of supporting data obtained from observation and documentation. Data collection techniques by interviewing, observing and documenting. Data from interviews, observations and documentation were analyzed descriptively. The data analysis technique in this study used by reducing data, displaying data and verifying research data. As for the test of the validity of the data of this study, namely the extension of observation, increasing perseverance, triangulation and member check.The results of the study indicated that the character education implementation strategy includes the integration of building character values in all subjects and teaching and learning activities both intra-extracurricular, character education through routine habituation, stakeholder involvement and the existence of building character values ( religious values, honesty, love for peace, hard work, creative, respect for achievement, communicative, fond of reading, environmental care, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, democratic, independent, national spirit, self-confidence and social care) in school. There was a close relationship between character education and quality of education as evidenced by the achievements obtained by students both academically and non-academically. The role of principals and teachers includes policy makers, motivators, and role models. There needs to be an increase in stakeholder involvement and communication in building character education values. In addition, there is need to improve the quality of the implementation of integration of activities in character education at SMPN 4 satu atap Pakis Magelang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe management of KKG based on affectivity in Gugus III Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman. Management of KKG in Gugus III Wedomartani includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Management of KKG Gugus III Wedomartani refers to standard development of KKG/MGMP that published by Ministry of National Education.This research uses qualitative approach namely case study. The data research which use description both orally and written gained from data collecting activity which is done using interview, observation, and documentation. The analysis of the data, the researcher uses three components, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing verification.The result of this research shows that management of KKG in Gugus III Wedomartani consist of program standard, organization standard, human resources standard, and funding standard. The implementation of KKG includes infrastructure standard, management standard and evaluation standard that consist of internal evaluation and evaluation of sub-district level. Based on the result of the research, the researchers suggest three points, namely: first, maximize the teamwork of organization and decrease the central figure of the organization. Second, make a more various routine program and development program. Third, bring the competent authorities outside to give a various suggestion which make KKG organization better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine : 1)how much influence the teaching experience, achievement motivation, availability of infrastructure on the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Paliyan District; 2) how much influence does the teaching experience have on the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Paliyan District; 3) how much influence does achievement motivation have on the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Paliyan District; 4) how much influence does the availability of infrastructure facilities on the professionalism of elementary school teachers in Paliyan District. This research is quantitative approach. The respondents are 176teachers of elementary school teachers in Paliyan Districtwhich spread in twenty elementary schools. The amount sample is 110 teachers determined by proposional random propotional sampling technique. Data are collected using questionnaires. Data analysis includes multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24 which coundcts normality test, , linierity test, and multicolinierity test as the pre requeisite. From the data analysis and some discussions, it is concluded that : 1) The teaching experience, achievement motivation, and availability of infrastructure contribute positively and significantly to the professionalism of the teacher which means having a long teaching experience, strong achievement motivation and the availability of supporting infrastructure, the teacher's professionalism will increase; 2) There is a positive and significant contribution of teaching experience to teacher professionalism, meaning that the longer the teaching experience possessed by the teacher, the more professional the teacher will be; 3) There is a positive and significant contribution of achievement motivation towards teacher professionalism, meaning that the stronger the achievement motivation possessed by the teacher, the more professional the teacher will be; 4) There is a positive and significant contribution to the availability of available infrastructure, so that the professionalism of teachers will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: the influence of work culture, work motivation and educational supervision on teacher performance, the influence of work culture on teacher performance, the influence of work motivation on teacher performance, the influence of educational supervision on teacher performance. The research method is quantitative. The population of this study were teachers in elementary schools in Wonosari Gunungkidul Yogyakarta, a total of 505 people. The sample in this study was taken by total sampling, a total of 205 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation at a significant level α = 0.05. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of work culture, work motivation and educational supervision on teachers' performance. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of work culture on teacher performance. (3) There is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on teacher performance. (4) There is a positive and significant effect of educational supervision on teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of discipline, work experience and achievement motivation both individually and jointly on the performance of state Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Purworejo district. This research includes quantitative research with a deductive research process that is answering the formulation of the problem used concepts / theories so that hypotheses can be formulated. The study was conducted in three MTs N in Purworejo district, namely MTs N 1, MTs N 2, MTs N 3 with a population of one hundred forty five people and a sample of as many as one hundred people. The data collection technique uses questionnaire techniques with questionnaires as data collection tools. In this study the analysis used was descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. From the data analyzed it was found the results that discipline had a positive and significant influence on performance, work experience had a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance while achievement motivation had a positive and significant influence on the performance of MTs N Purworejo district teachers. The three independent variables, namely discipline, work experience and achievement motivation have an effect of forty eight percent on the dependent variable namely teacher performance, while fifty-two percent of the others are influenced by other things not examined. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan, Pengalaman kerja dan motivasi berprestasi baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama  terhadap kinerja guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah negeri di kabupaten Purworejo. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan proses penelitiannya bersifat deduktif yaitu menjawab rumusan masalah digunakan konsep/teori sehingga dapat dirumuskan hipotesisnya. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga MTs N di kabupaten Purworejo yaitu MTs N 1, MTs N 2, MTs N 3 dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak  seratus empat puluh lima orang dan sampel yang digunakan  sebanyak seratus orang. Teknik pengumpulan data nya menggunakan  teknik questioner dengan angket sebagai alat pengambilan datanya. Dalam penelitian ini analisis yang  digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Dari data yang dianalisis di temukan hasil bahwa kedisiplinan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja,  pengalaman kerja memberikan pengaruh positif tapi tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru sedangkan  motivasi berprestasi memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru MTs N kabupaten Purworejo.  Ketiga variabel bebas tersebut  yaitu kedisiplinan, pengalaman kerja dan motivasi berprestasi memberikan pengaruh  sebesar  empat puluh delapan persen  terhadap  variabel terikat yaitu kinerja guru, sedangkan lima puluh dua persen yang lain dipengaruhi oleh hal lain yang tidak diteliti

Abstract

Abstract: Teacher productivity is an important element in the success of education, especially in supporting the achievement of educational goals.  In the context of work productivity, organisational commitment, work motivation, and job satisfaction are three factors that are interrelated and influence directly or indirectly. This study aims to analyse the contribution of organisational commitment, work motivation and job satisfaction to the work productivity of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. (2) Analyse the contribution of organisational commitment to the work productivity of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. (3) Analyse the contribution of work motivation to the work productivity of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. (4) Analysing the contribution of job satisfaction to the work productivity of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The variables in this study are organisational commitment, work motivation, job satisfaction and teacher work productivity. The population of this research is census research/saturated sampling/total sampling, so that all Civics teachers who teach at junior high schools in Purworejo Regency are used as research samples, namely 104 teachers. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the conclusions are obtained: (1) Organisational commitment, work motivation and job satisfaction contribute significantly to the work effectiveness of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. Positive and significant means that the better the organisational commitment, work motivation and job satisfaction, the teacher's work productivity will also be good (2) Organisational commitment contributes significantly to the work effectiveness of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. Positive and significant means that the better the organisational commitment, the teacher's work productivity will also be good, (3) Work motivation contributes significantly to the work effectiveness of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. Positive and significant means that the better the work motivation, the teacher's work productivity will also be good, (4) Job satisfaction contributes positively and significantly to the work effectiveness of junior high school Civics teachers in Purworejo Regency. Positive and significant means that the better the job satisfaction, the better the teacher's work productivity. Abstrak: Produktivitas guru merupakan elemen penting dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, terutama dalam mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan  Dalam konteks produktivitas kerja, commitment organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja merupakan tiga faktor yang saling berkaitan dan berpengaruh secara langsung maupun tidak langsung penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis kontribusi komitmen organisasi, motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. (2) Menganalisis kontribusi komitmen organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. (3) Menganalisis kontribusi motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. (4) Menganalisis kontribusi kepuasan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah komitmen organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepuasan kerja dan produktivitas kerja guru. Populasi penelitian ini adalah penelitian sensus/sampling jenuh/total sampling, sehingga seluruh guru mata pelajaran PPKn yang mengajar pada SMP di Kabupaten Purworejo dijadikan sampel penelitian yaitu 104 guru. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Komitmen organisasi, motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja berkontribusi positif secara signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. Positif dan signifikan artinya semakin baik komitmen organisasi, motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja maka produktivitas kerja guru juga akan baik (2) Komitmen organisasi berkontribusi positif secara signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. Positif dan signifikan artinya semakin baik komitmen organisasi maka produktivitas kerja guru juga akan baik, (3) Motivasi kerja berkontribusi positif secara signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja guru PPKn SMP Se-Kabupaten Purworejo. Abstract

Abstrak: Kinerja guru merupakan hasil yang dicapai seorang guru menurut ukuran yang berlaku untuk tenaga pengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menjelaskan: (1) pengaruh perilaku kepala sekolah, kedisiplinan, dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru, (2) pengaruh perilaku kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, (3) pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap kinerja guru, dan (4) pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kiinerja guru. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan berjenis regsesi linier berganda. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dari variabel perilaku kepa sekolah, kedisiplinan, lingkungan kerja dan kinerja guru. Untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 104 guru SMP Negeri se Kecamatan Kuwus dan Kuwus Barat, Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh adalah: (1) ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan  antara perilaku kepala sekolah, kedisiplinan dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai Sig F 0,000<0,05, (2) ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan  antara perilaku kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai Sig 0,035<0,05, (3) ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan  antara kedisiplinan terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai Sig 000<0,005, dan (4) ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan  antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai Sig 0,047<0,05 Pada SMP Negeri se Kecamatan Kuwus dan Kuwus Barat, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Abstract: Teacher performance is the outcome that a teacher achieves according to the measures that apply to teachers. This study aims to test and explain: (1) the effect of principal behaviour, discipline and work environment together on teacher performance, (2) the effect of principal behaviour on teacher performance, (3) the effect of discipline on teacher performance, and (4) the effect of work environment on teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression type. Data were collected using questionnaires on the variables of school behaviour, discipline, work environment and teacher performance. To test the hypothesis using multiple regression analysis techniques. The sample used was 104 public junior high school teachers in Kuwus and West Kuwus sub-districts, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara. The results of the analysis obtained are: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between principal's behaviour, discipline and working environment together on teacher performance with Sig F value of 0.000 <0.05, (2) there is a positive and significant influence between principal's behaviour on teacher performance with Sig value of 0.035 <0. 05, (3) there is a positive and significant influence between discipline on teacher performance with a Sig value of 000 <0.005, and (4) there is a positive and significant influence between working environment on teacher performance with a Sig value of 0.047 <0.05 in Government Junior High Schools in Kuwus and West Kuwus Districts, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara

Abstract

Abstrak: guru Pendidikan Jasmani memiliki peran strategis dalam mendidik aspek fisik, mental, dan sosial siswa, sehingga mampu mencetak lulusan yang kompeten dan siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru Pendidikan Jasmani SMK Se-Kabupaten Kulon Progo secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Pendidikan Jasmani SMK Se-Kabupaten Kulon Progo yang berjumlah 55 guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi, sehingga seluruh anggota populasi dalam penelitian ini dijadikan anggota sampel penelitian. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan secara simultan/bersama-sama maupun secara parsial atas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja guru Pendidikan Jasmani SMK Se-Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Abstract: Physical education teachers have a strategic role in educating the physical, mental and social aspects of students to produce graduates who are competent and ready to compete in the world of work. This study aims to analyze the contribution of principal leadership, organizational culture and emotional intelligence to the performance of physical education teachers of SMK in Kulon Progo Regency partially or simultaneously. This kind of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all physical education teachers of SMK in Kulon Progo Regency, a total of 55 teachers. This research is a population study, so all members of the population in this study are used as members of the research sample. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and very significant influence simultaneously / together and partially on the principal's leadership, organizational culture and emotional intelligence on the performance of physical education teachers of vocational high schools in Kulon Progo Regency.
