Abstract

TikTok is one of the social media platforms that has gained popularity among a wide range of people, from teenagers to adults. Its attractiveness lies in offering a plethora of current and engaging video content that captures everyone's attention. However, behind its captivating content, the TikTok application harbors many potential negative impacts, such as consuming a considerable amount of time for its users, creating addiction, and the abundance of adult content, which can undoubtedly affect its users, including students. Therefore, teachers, particularly those instructing in Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic ethics and morality), play a crucial role in preventing moral crises due to the negative effects of TikTok. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data sources obtained from Aqidah Akhlak instructors, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. The data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The technique used to check the validity of the data is triangulation. The results of this study reveal the strategies employed by Aqidah Akhlak teachers in addressing the negative impact of the TikTok application. These strategies involve preventive measures, including providing guidance on the negative effects of the TikTok application and setting a positive example for students. Additionally, Aqidah Akhlak instructors organize congregational Dhuhr prayers and encourage the memorization of short verses from the Quran during free time. Sanctions are also applied by Aqidah Akhlak instructors if a student persists in disregarding warnings. The implementation of these strategies has a positive impact on the way students speak and behave, making them more adept at navigating social media, especially the TikTok application.

Abstract

The findings in the research show that the underachiever experienced by female students in Intensive Class 3 is a problem that must be overcome. Underachievers are students who are unable to balance the material obtained in the learning process with the grades they produce. A state of physical and psychological fatigue experienced by a person over a long period of time which is characterized by physical, mental or emotional exhaustion. Underachiever behavior can occur in various educational settings, including Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions must try to minimize this by maximizing the role of parties directly involved with female students, including teachers. The problem raised in this research is how underachievers occur in female students in class 3 of the Intensive TMI Putri Al-Amien, how to overcome them and the obstacles in overcoming them, which are explained in two focuses, namely: How teachers attempt to deal with underachiever students in the learning process of class 3 of Intensive C&D at TMI Al-Amien, and than What are the teacher's obstacles in dealing with underachiever students in the C&D Intensive Class 3 learning process at TMI Al-Amien and what are the solutions. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Data sources were obtained from teachers, el-psycha and female students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the technique used to check the validity of the data is technical triangulation. The results of this research are that underachievers that occur in Intensive Class 3 female students are caused by two factors, namely internal and external factors of the child. In this case, teachers play a very active role in overcoming it. The methods used by teachers include providing motivation and positive advice, warning, giving rewards, providing adequate rest time for their children and controlling the behavior of female students. The obstacles in overcoming them are internal and external factors.

Abstract

The Ta'lim al-Muta'allim book is a book that discusses the manners of students to seek knowledge as the key to success in learning. The book also mentions various provisions that must be owned by students and are often brought on their journey to seek knowledge so that students can achieve their goals, namely gaining useful and blessed knowledge. So learning the Ta'lim Al-muta'allim book aims to provide guidance to students to achieve useful knowledge and can be developed independently so that it is useful for other humans. Basically, education that emphasizes improving student morals. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of research. The location of the research is at Ma'had IDIA Prenduan, while the data collection technique uses interviews, observations, and documentation. And using the technique of checking the validity of data with data triangulation then the data that has been obtained is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To find out how the value learning contained in the Ta'lim Al-muta'allim book is implemented, the researcher tries to thoroughly examine the value learning contained in the Ta'lim Al-muta'allim book which is implemented in Ma'had IDIA Prenduan. With the hope that the results of this study can be useful for all IDIA Prenduan students and all communities. So from the results of the research conducted by the researcher at Ma'had IDIA Prenduan, it is aware of the importance of value learning contained in the Ta'lim Al-muta'allim book in an education system that exists in the institution so that students are able to implement the contents of the Ta'lim Al-muta'allim book so that they can be applied in everyday life in accordance with the teachings taught by Imam Az-Zarnuji (Ta'lim Al-muta'allim).

Abstract

The purpose of self-development and purification of the heart is to make humans into quality human beings. Al-Ghazali, as one of the great thinkers of Islam, found a way to satisfaction and inner peace, namely through the Sufi Path (maqamat sufism). Of course, this requires a medium, namely the Qalbu (heart) in which there are many things that need to be expressed by humans and of course there are diseases that can hinder this process. One of these maqamat is patience as a way to get closer to Allah SWT and a cure for heart disease. If patience is carried out diligently and seriously, the person who does it will gain virtue, benefits and happines as well as peace of mind and heart with the peak being makrifarullah.

Abstract

This article examines the tradition of reciting surat yasin after maghrib at the An-Nuriyah Islamic Boarding School for girls in Surabaya. This foundation is a non-formal educational institution specifically dedicated to female students who study classical islamic texts and memorize the Qur’an. Data collection was conducted through direct field research to gain an in-depth understanding of various aspects of the tradition of reciting surat yasin after maghrib at An-Nuriyah Boarding School in Surabaya. In addition, documentation and observation methods were also used to gather data, which was then classified and analyzed. The research findings indicate that: (1) The tradition of reciting surat yasin after maghrib at An-Nuriyah Boarding School in Surabaya provides both physical and spiritual enjoyment, peace of mind, and ease in all matters for those who practice it. Furthermore, this tradition strengthens the spiritual connection with Allah, which is why it continues to be maintained. (2) For some students and alumni, this tradition has a significant impact on their personalities, encouraging them to remain steadfast in prayer and not deviate from religious teachings. Meanwhile, for the An-Nuriyah Islamic Boarding School for Girls in Surabaya, the regular recitation of surat sasin after maghrib serves as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect and strengthens the bonds between the students.

Abstract

Islamic education as a process of behavior change that occurs in individuals and society, the issue of Islamic education is a very urgent problem and must receive serious attention. If not, it will have a negative impact on the world of Islamic education. Empirical facts about Islamic education today are very alarming, especially the problem of moral decadence that causes damage to the image of Islamic education. Another problem of education is that there is still a dichotomy of science (between general science and religious science, then the narrowing of understanding of Islamic education which only revolves around aspects of ukhrawi life which is separated from aspects of worldly life, or aspects of spiritual life that are separated from physical life. This research using a qualitative approach with the type of library (library research). Other reference sources that still have relevance with the focus of research are: the main problems in Islamic education.
