Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji opini pu blik terhadap tren penggunaan busana vintage di kalangan masyarakat Kabupaten Lumajang. Busana vintage mengacu pada pakaian atau aksesori yang diproduksi pada periode sebelumnya, namun kembali populer dalam tren mode saat ini. Penelitian ini penting untuk memahami bagaimana masyarakat Kabupaten Lumajang merespons dan memandang penggunaan busana vintage dalam konteks budaya dan identitas mereka. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pertanyaan dalam survei ini mencakup aspek-aspek seperti pengetahuan tentang busana vintage, preferensi penggunaan busana vintage, alasan di balik pemilihan busana vintage, Mengidentifikasi pola dan tren yang muncul dalam opini publik terkait penggunaan busana vintage. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden di Kabupaten Lumajang memiliki pengetahuan tentang busana vintage dan beberapa di antaranya tertarik untuk mengikutinya sebagai tren mode. Alasan utama untuk memilih busana vintage adalah keunikan desain, nilai sentimental, dan ekspresi diri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication patterns used by Ustadzah towards students in delivering the Qiroati method. The Qiroati method is an approach to learning tajweed through good and correct recitation of the Qur'an. Where the discussion focuses on three main aspects. First, the interactional style used by Ustadzah to explain the concept of the Qiroati method to students. Second, the communication relationship between the Head of TPQ and Ustadzah in order to improve the ability to read the students' Al-Qur'an. Third, what factors influence Ustadzah in conveying the Qiroati method to students. The use of instructional communication theory provides a relevant framework, this is in line with the researcher's aim to analyze how the communication patterns of Ustadzah and students, especially in learning the Qiroati method. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods described through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Ustadzah and students, and document analysis to find out the communication strategies applied by Ustadzah in teaching the Qiroati method. The technique of collecting data sources uses purposive sampling method to determine the criteria of the informants, the selection of samples based on the criteria of Ustadzah who have been teaching from a period of 2.5-6 years with a total of 5 informants, while for santri, namely those who can answer questions from researchers, with ages 10-12 years with a total of 6 santri. The use of two-way interaction in the interaction of Ustadzah and santri contributes to the learning environment, in this case both play an active role in the interaction. Ustadzah's clear language when presenting the material also affects the understanding of students, especially regarding the Qiroati method, not only that, a good communication relationship between Ustadzah and the Head of TPQ affects the success of students in reading the Qur'an. The results of interviews with Ustadzah, students, and the Head of TPQ show that the communication patterns that occur in the learning environment are going well, from Ustadzah to the Head of TPQ have practiced the right communication patterns so that students understand the material that has been delivered.

Abstract

Trust Issue has become a topic that is often discussed by many people. In the context of personal relationships, this trust issue often occurs due to suspicion, betrayal or painful past experiences. This issue is very common and also has a significant impact on a person's life, both personally and socially, no wonder many relationships are 'destroyed' because of this trust issue. Things that usually happen in the scope of trust issues include marriage, romantic relationships and friendships. The problem of trust in this relationship has finally been raised by many Instagram social media activists to become a quote content in the form of text or video. Not a few netizens responded to the uploaded content, some justified the content, telling an experience, fear reaction, overthinking. Therefore, researchers are interested in exploring further by conducting a content analysis of Krippendorff to find out the description of the trust issue itself and the impact caused by the trust problem. The method used by researchers uses a qualitative descriptive method by including 5 samples from the @lovayank account and Netizen comments as the object of this research. The results of the study show many negative reactions to one of the video content quotes @lovayank which is an indicator of the description and impact of the trust issue.

Abstract

Ms Glow is the object of research because Ms Glow has successfully managed her business and developed her products since she was founded in 2013, starting from selling skincare and body care products through online platforms and has now expanded her reach by opening treatment clinics located in several big cities. After the selection of Bunda Corla as Ms Glow's brand ambassador, various opinions were expressed by the public on the social media platform Instagram regarding Mother Corla's competence in carrying out her responsibilities as a brand ambassador. This research aims to gather information from MS Glow Jember resellers regarding the role of Mother Corla as Brand Ambassador in improving the brand image of MS Glow products. This phenomenon is of concern to researchers so that research needs to be carried out on whether the impact and attractiveness of Mother Corla's role as Ms Glow's brand ambassador can improve brand image. Researchers have carried out interview activities which were carried out on August 2 2023 and interviewed MS Glow Resellers who were in Jember. In this interview, the researcher aims to gain in-depth insight into how significant the role of Ambassador Bunda Corla is in shaping consumer perceptions of the MS Glow brand and how this brand association influences resellers in Jember in the aspects of excellence, strength and uniqueness of the brand association. In this way, we can explore the important role of Ambassador Bunda Corla in shaping and improving the MS Glow brand image in the eyes of consumers and resellers. This research method is descriptive qualitative using Kennedy and Soemanaraga's 2006 Marketing Communication theory.

Abstract

Team motivation is the most important key in a company. This cannot be separated from how a leader prepares a strategy and the efforts made to create a new atmosphere that raises the motivation of the team to provide the best results in their performance. One of the strategies that underlies all aspects that can be carried out is communication. This then became the reason researchers were interested in taking up research with the title Lily Project Jember Chief Executive Officer's Interpersonal Communication Strategy in Increasing Teamwork Motivation. This research is useful as material for consideration in behavior in the work environment so that all involved can function optimally and effectively. This research is descriptive qualitative research taking objects from companies operating in the Lily Project Jember service sector. The data collection methods applied involve observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained is then processed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this research, the results obtained can be explained that the interpersonal communication strategy owned by the company and applied by a leader to the team under him is very effective in increasing team work motivation, where this motivation not only has a positive impact on the company but also has a positive impact on everyday life. -every individual's day, although in the communication process there are several obstacles found both from the leader and each individual. Abstract

As the only company assigned responsibility in the field of National electricity. PLN (Persero) is one of the companies owned by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) which is engaged in the provision of electricity, telecommunications, and is also the most influential and surviving company in Indonesia. PLN is one of the electricity agents who are very closely related, tasked with developing business activities related to electricity with the aim of improving people's welfare and also encouraging economic improvement. A company certainly really needs the existence of public relations, because public relations has a very important role and task. PLN continues to strive to create new strategies and innovations in satisfying customers and continues to pay attention to improving services to customers. The success of PLN is largely determined by the success of a public relations officer in maintaining a positive reputation or image in the community. This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely interviews and literature study with data analysis using data reduction steps, data presentation and data verification. The data obtained is by getting actual data and facts. In this research, the theory used is image theory. The results of the research obtained are knowing PLN's public relations strategy in improving the company's image through electronic media and social media and also PLN presents an application that can facilitate the community, namely PLN Mobile. And also knowing how the community's response to the strategy that has been carried out by PLN's public relations, the response given by the community is very positive towards applications that make it easier for customers to pay for prepaid and postpaid electricity, they can also activate notifications about power outages

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the efforts made to increase public awareness through the diffusion of Jember cigar promotion at PT Tarutama Nusantara. With increasing competition in the cigar market, it is important to understand how promotions can be an effective tool in increasing public awareness of cigars in Jember Regency. The rationale for this research is based on the diffusion of innovation theory and marketing communication theory, which emphasizes the importance of effective communication in influencing consumer perceptions and behavior. The methodology used is a qualitative approach, by collecting data through in-depth interviews with subman related to the promotion of Jember cigars at PT Tarutama Nusantara and the general public regarding the existence of cigars. Research findings show that PT Tarutama Nusantara has used various promotional strategies, including advertising, event sponsorship, and sales promotions to increase public awareness of cigars. However, there are still challenges in promotional effectiveness, such as consumer preferences or choices, price and lack of adequate mass media exposure. Therefore, this research provides recommendations for improving internal coordination and market research regarding public awareness regarding the existence and superiority of cigars in Jember Regency. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable insight for PT Tarutama Nusantara and other companies in the cigar industry to increase public awareness and optimize their promotional strategies. Abstract

This research tries to explain and describe how student smokers perceive the danger warnings on cigarette packs. This study aims to examine several factors that underlie smoking behavior among students at Dr. University. Soebandi, Jember Regency. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method, which involved data mining methods through observation and interviews. A total of 7 students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. University. Soebandi, who is an active smoker, became the informant in this research. In understanding the reality of the informants, this research uses the S-O-R theory put forward by Hovland as an effort to understand the social reality in society that underlies an action. The results of the research prove that there are several factors that underlie students' smoking habits, including cultural factors, students' personal experience factors, and educational factors that underlie students' smoking habits.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of Mobile Legends game factors on the tendency of 2020 students of the Communication Science study program at Muhammadiyah University of Jember class of 2020 to play. The factors studied include ease of access and play, simple and interesting gameplay, and the presence of multiplayer features in the game. This research was conducted using qualitative methods by collecting data through interviews with 5 student respondents. The research results show that the Mobile Legends game factors, namely easy to access and play, simple and interesting gameplay, and multiplayer features, have a significant impact on the tendency of students in the Communication Sciences study program to play. These factors create a fun gaming experience, facilitate participation, and provide opportunities for social interaction and collaboration in the game. However, this research also reveals that there are negative impacts such as differences of opinion, conflict and toxic behavior in the gaming community. The use of Mobile Legends can also affect the quality and length of student social interaction in the real world. This research provides an in-depth understanding of how Mobile Legends game factors influence Communication Science students' tendencies to play and its impact on their social interactions. The implications of these findings can help in further understanding the use of games in college students' academic and social contexts.
