Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is an infectious disease directly caused by tuberculosis bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosa) which is transmitted through the air (droplet nuclei) when a tuberculosis patient coughs and spray saliva containing the bacteria are inhaled by others during breathing.Method: This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. Population in this research is 63 respondents, the sample amounted to 58 respondents. The sampling technique using total sampling technique. The study was conducted on 7 April to 13 April 2015.Result: The results showed that the respondents have a high knowledge of the prevention of transmission of Pulmonary TB either as many as 15 people (55.6%) , and respondents who have low knowledge to the prevention of transmission of Pulmonary TB unfavorable as many as 25 people (80.6%). Chi-square test results showed that there is a relationship between knowledge and prevention of pulmonary TB transmission in Puskesmas Muaro with a p-value of 0.010 (p <0.05).Respondents who have a good attitude to the prevention of transmission of Pulmonary TB either as many as 18 people (78.3%), respondents who have a poor attitude to the prevention of transmission of Pulmonary TB unfavorable as many as 32 people (91.4%). Chi-square test results showed that there was a significant relationship between attitudes to the prevention of pulmonary TB transmission in Puskesmas Muaro KumpehKabupaten Muaro Jambi 2015 with a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Backgorund: Menstruation can be said as a natural process that will happen to teenagers, where the process of blood excretion indicating that internal organs functioning mature content.The purpose of this study was to know the factors Affectingof teenagers  Premenstrual Syndrome In Class X SMK PGRI 2 Jambi About Premenstrual syndrome.Methods: The method used in this research was descriptive. Where the population in this study were all woman  students of class X SMK PGRI 2 Jambi with total population 151 students and total sample 30 students. The data used in this study was  the primary and secondary data. The data collected in this study wasquestionnaires. The technique of data collected was used simple random sampling. With a median analysis used in this study were univariate.Results: The results of research in getting that 18 (60.0%) of respondents have less knowledge, 7 (23.3%) of respondents have sufficient knowledge and 5 (16.7%) of respondents have a good knowledge of premenstrual syndrome in woman teenagers. As many as 18 (60.0%) of respondents have a negative attitude and 12 (40.0%) of respondents have a positive attitude about premenstrual syndrome in woman teenagers. The conclusion from the results is the importance of information and knowledge of the woman teenagers about importance of health reproductive of woman teenagers to confront of premenstrual syndrome teen behaviour.

Abstract

Background: The quality of nursing care can be drawn from the documentation of nursing care. Nursing care documentation incomplete can degrade the quality of nursing services because it can’t identify the extent to which the success rate of nursing care given. It becomes of performance of nurses. Nurses in performing their duties are also influenced by the ability of the managerial functions of the head nurse that affects the performance of nurses. Methods: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the head nurse managerial functions with documentation quality of nursing care in inpatient Pariaman Hospitals . The Study using analiytical descriptive  design with cross sectional approach. Samples were 86 nurses with proportional random technique sampling. The  result research showed that planning function, organizing function, directing function, monitoring function, controlling function  majority is good. Results: The statistical test result correlation between the function of directing the quality of nursing care documentation  (p value = 0.042). Suggestions for head of nursing revised Nursing Care Standards, assessing the performance of nurses regarding documentation of nursing care on a regular basis using an assessment instrument and the implementation of training related to nursing care documentation appropriate standard built by experts and professionals.

Abstract

Background: The presence of autistic children in a family will affect the lives of all other family members, including siblings. The response generated in adolescents due to their sibling who has autism has positive and negative implications, adolescents who are not able to solve problems and adapt to existing circumstances he would deal with stress. This study aimed to get an idea of the experience of coping teens who have siblings with autism. Methods: Qualitative research design using the phenomenological approach, the data collection process transactions are carried out through in-depth Interview. Participants were taken by purposive sampling. Participants in this study amounted to 7 adolescents. Analysis of the data by the method Colaizzi. Results: The results of this study resulted in 5 themes: an emotional response,  adolescent perception of the sibling with autism, adolescent coping mechanisms, coping resources, and expectations of adolescents on the autism brother. It is expected to nurse the soul, the awareness of the importance of attention to aspects of emotional response in adolescents who have siblings with autism.

Abstract

Background: The development is the increased ability (skill) the structure and function of the body is more complex, in a regular pattern and can be predicted, as a result of the maturation process / maturity. There are four different aspects of child development, which consists of the development of fine motor, gross motor, language and socialization independence. To assess the four aspects of the child's development is by doing a screening test a child's development.Methods: This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design aims to determine the relationship of mother's knowledge on of growth with the development of children aged 3-4 years in the Golden Kids Playgroup Telanai Pura District of the city of Jambi. This research has been conducted on the Golden Kids Playgroup Telanai Pura District of Jambi on 11-15 March 2016 with the instrument in the form of questionnaires, analyzed by univariate and bivariate using Chi-square test.Results: The results showed that maternal knowledge with the development of children aged 3-4 years in preschool Golden Kids can be from 39 high knowledge there were 18 (47.4%) the appropriate level of development, 17 (44.7%) of dubious level of development, and 3 (7.9 %) the deviation level of development of children aged 3-4 years in preschool Golden Kids. While the low knowledge of 19, 2 (10.5%) the appropriate level of development, 15 (78.9%) of dubious level of development and 2 (10.5%) the deviation level of development of children aged 3-4 years in the District Kids Playgroup Telanai Golden Temple City Jambi.Expected to health curriculum development, especially growth and development of children and mothers are also expected to increase awareness in stimulating growth and development of children so that children can go through the process optimal development.

Abstract

Background: Job satisfaction is a pleasant emotional disposition and loves his job. Someone who has a level of job satisfaction will have a positive feeling about the job, but the results are still a lot of nurses in hospitals nationally and internationally to feel dissatisfaction. Methods: This study aims to look at the comparative study of job satisfaction of nurses civil servants and non-civil servants in hospitals Raden Mattaher Jambi 2016. corss sectional study design using comparative. Samples were taken by proportional random sampling with 220 nurses civil servants and non-civil servants. Results: The test results obtained frequency distribution of job satisfaction variables that have a comparison between civil servants and non-civil nurses in hospitals Raden Mattaher Jambi is a nurse job satisfaction civil servants (43.6%) were dissatisfied and nurses non-civil servants (56.4%) were not satisfied. Based on the research showed that job satisfaction of nurses nurses civil servants and non-civil servants at the Hospital Raden matther Jambi not meet applicable standards.

Abstract

Background: Indicators of Healthy Families is an indicator / labeling of the health status of the family. Family declared healthy families if they meet 12 indicators of a healthy family that consists of a family planning program, pregnant women antenatal check (ANC) according to standards, Babies get complete immunization, exclusive breastfeeding infants 0-6 months, growth monitoring Toddler, Tuberculosis Patients according to the standard treatment, patients regularly treated hypertension, severe Mental Disorder Patients treated, there is no family member who smokes, Having Means Water, Using latrines healthy, and A family is already a member of the National Health Insurance (JKN). The purpose of this research is to know the description of indicators of healthy families in the village of Lebak Bandung city of Jambi.Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptively. The samples on this research 65 KK through the technique of "Simple Random Sampling". The data were obtained using a questionnaire of Family Health Profile (PROKESGA). Univariate analysis of data presented in tabular form and narrated by tekstuler frequency.Results: The results showed that the family 44.6%  is a Healthy Family,  50,8% Pre Healthy Families, and  4.6% Unhealthy family.Expected Village Lebak Bandung and health center Simpang Kawat is working together to socialize, and motivate the community in implementing the 12 indicators of Healthy Families, so created a healthy Neighborhood.

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia, diarrheal diseases are a major cause of death after respiratory tract infection . There are 7 indicators relating to the prevention of diarrhea, : to give the baby exclusive breastfeeding, complementary feeding, using clean water, hand washing, use of latrines, Throw feces properly and immunization. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of mothers in the prevention of diarrhea in infants.Methods: This research method is a descriptive study, which aims to describe the characteristics of the mother, knowledge and PHBS mothers in the prevention of diarrhea in infants, this study was conducted in April-July 2016 in Kenali Asam Bawah, the population of all mothers with toddlers aged 1-5 years totaled 56. Analysis data using univariate.Results: The results obtained from 56 mothers who have children know the highest maternal age between 20-30 years old by 30 (53.6%), with a high school education 36 respondents (64.3), a good knowledge of (80.4%), respondents have PHBS :breastfeeding well at (82.1%), complementary foods well at (82.1%), use of latrines well (55.4%), immunization with both (100%).

Abstract

Background: The incidence of patellofemoral pain syndrome quadriceps angle of sales promotion girl can caused be standing static position for a long time. Pain is experienced will cause changes in the position of the pedestal to the knee that causes changes in the quadriceps angle. Methods: The survey method of Analytical observation with cross  sectional. The design of this research is Point Time Approach, observation subject is only once and the measurements made of the status a character or a variable subject on the inspection, to take a sample with a total sampling method. The normality Test with kolmogrov-smirnov, bivariate relationships with the chi square test. Subjek numbered at 30 people.Results: The results of the relationship test is p-value <0.05 in patellofemoral pain syndrome and quadriceps angle changes.  There is a significant relationship to the occurrence high heels usage Heigh patellofemoral pain syndrome and quadriceps angle changes.

Abstract

Introduction :Aerobic exercise is a form of exercise or exercise that in its use of energy uses the oxidative process in generating ATP as the basic energy for all cells. Aerobic exercise has an effect on the heart resistance of the lungs and so forth. Light to moderate activity is aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise should be done with a frequency of 3-5 times per week with a duration of exercise 20-30 minutes each time the exercise. Methods : In the case of active smokers, physiotherapy is instrumental, among others, to maintain physical fitness, increase endurance and especially in increasing levels of VO2 max in the body. Objective to determine the difference of moderate and moderate intensity aerobic exercise effect on increasing percentage of VO2 max level in active smokerResult : Based on research objectives and data analysis results, the conclusions of this study are as follows from research conducted within 8 weeks starting from September to november 2015 in Stikes Baiturrahim Jambi on the influence of moderate intensity aerobic exercise and moderate intensity to VO2 max in active smoker Student Stikes Baiturrahim Conclusion : aerobic exercise of mild intensity and moderate intensity performed 4 times a week for 8 weeks with a duration of 30 minutes each time treatment can increase VO2 max in active smokers.
