Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and green jobs by mapping the scientific landscape of publications in the field. A bibliometric design was employed using Scopus data covering the period 2000–2025. The dataset consisted of journal articles and conference proceedings, analyzed with the Bibliometrix R-package to examine publication trends, citation performance, collaboration networks, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic evolution. The results indicate a steady rise in publications since 2010, with rapid growth after 2019 and a peak in 2024. Sustainable development and green economy emerged as core themes, while engineering education, green jobs, and curricula appeared as emerging areas of interest. The analysis also shows that the field is dominated by advanced economies such as China, the United States, and Finland, while Indonesia and other developing countries are beginning to play a more visible role. These findings imply that stronger integration of ESD into higher education and vocational pathways, supported by cross-country collaboration and curriculum innovation, is essential to prepare a workforce for inclusive and sustainable green transitions.

Abstract

This article examines substantive partnerships between Vocational High Schools (SMKs) and the Business and Industrial Sectors (DUDI) within vocational education management. Using a Systematic Literature Review guided by PRISMA 2020, this study synthesizes four empirical articles indexed in SINTA 1–3 and published between 2021 and 2026. The thematic synthesis identifies school-industry partnership management, curriculum alignment, graduate competence development through industrial work practice, and the role of school public relations in sustaining collaboration. Findings indicate that effective partnerships require structured planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation, supported by active industry involvement in curriculum synchronization, teaching factory programs, internships, and competency assessment. However, many partnerships remain administrative due to limited industrial partners, schedule mismatches, weak evaluation indicators, and differing school-industry orientations. The study recommends sustainable link and match strategies to strengthen graduate competence, learning quality, and institutional accountability.

Abstract

Teacher professional organizations hold a strategic position in enhancing educator professionalism and supporting the educational quality assurance system. However, their institutional effectiveness remains constrained by the dominance of administrative routines and weak systemic coordination. This article aims to analyze the roles, challenges, and institutional relevance of PGRI, IGI, MGMP, and KKG in strengthening educational quality in Indonesia through a Total Quality Management (TQM) perspective. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical literature review method, this study systematically differentiates the functions of policy advocacy (PGRI), digital innovation (IGI), and pedagogical reflection in professional learning communities (MGMP/KKG). The findings indicate that repositioning professional organizations as quality assurance agents can be achieved through organic interventions in the PPEPP cycle driven by the utilization of Educational Report Cards (Rapor Pendidikan) data. This study recommends the integration of member databases and regulatory synchronization following the enforcement of Permendikbudristek Number 67 of 2024.

Abstract

Community participation in education still faces various obstacles, such as low levels of active involvement, a lack of communication between schools and the community, and the underutilization of the community in supporting education. This study aims to analyze the role of the community as a source, implementer, and user of educational outcomes. The study employs a qualitative approach using an integrative literature review method through the analysis of various journals, books, scientific articles, and policy documents relevant to the role of the community in education. The results indicate that the community serves as a source of education through the social and cultural environment, as an implementer of education through families, social organizations, and non-formal education, and as a user of educational outcomes who utilize and evaluate the quality of graduates. However, community participation remains largely administrative in nature and has not been optimally integrated into educational development, particularly in decision-making and providing feedback on educational outcomes. Therefore, this study underscores the importance of strengthening partnerships between schools and the community through collaborative forums, mapping community potential, and establishing feedback mechanisms from graduates to improve the quality and relevance of education. A limitation of this study is its reliance on secondary data sources, meaning that the findings depend on the scope and quality of the literature analyzed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms, levels, and contributions of community participation in educational implementation at SDN Pulogadung 01, East Jakarta. A qualitative case study approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews with the school principal, document analysis, and a review of relevant literature. The findings indicate that community participation involves parents, the school committee, neighborhood organizations, alumni, and local community members in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of school programs. The dominant forms of participation include providing feedback, moral support, and social oversight. Community involvement has reached the levels of information sharing, consultation, and collaboration, but has not yet achieved empowerment, as community members have limited authority in strategic school decision-making. The study also reveals that participation is stronger during program implementation than in monitoring and evaluation activities. This article highlights that community participation should not be measured solely by attendance at school forums, but also by meaningful involvement in decision-making, monitoring, and evaluation processes. Therefore, strengthening community capacity, optimizing the role of school committees, and promoting more participatory communication are necessary to support transparent and accountable school governance.
