Abstract

The development of a competency-based curriculum is one of the important efforts in preparing students to face global challenges in the modern era. This article aims to examine the importance of curriculum development that prioritizes strengthening student competencies in order to respond to the dynamics of global change. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach to analyze various relevant reference sources related to competency-based curriculum development. Based on the results of the literature study, it was found that the competency-focused curriculum not only emphasizes academic knowledge, but also practical skills that can be applied in various global contexts, such as critical thinking skills, creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving. In addition, this research also highlights the importance of technology integration in learning and collaboration between countries in developing a curriculum that is relevant to global developments. The results of this study provide recommendations for the development of a curriculum that is more flexible, based on industry needs, and able to prepare students for the challenges of an increasingly competitive world of work. In conclusion, the development of a competency-based curriculum is a strategic step to ensure the readiness of future generations to face the ever-evolving global challenges.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas representasi gender dalam program-program televisi prime time melalui analisis konten kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana gender ditampilkan dan dibentuk dalam berbagai program televisi yang populer di masyarakat. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi stereotip gender yang muncul, peran yang dimainkan oleh karakter laki-laki dan perempuan, serta dampak dari representasi tersebut terhadap persepsi publik tentang gender. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber, termasuk artikel akademis, laporan penelitian, dan analisis program televisi yang telah disiarkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat kemajuan dalam representasi perempuan di televisi, banyak program masih mempertahankan stereotip tradisional yang membatasi peran gender. Selain itu, representasi laki-laki juga menunjukkan kecenderungan untuk menekankan kekuasaan dan dominasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya kesadaran yang lebih besar terhadap cara media, khususnya televisi, membentuk pandangan masyarakat tentang gender. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi peneliti dan praktisi media dalam memahami dan menganalisis representasi gender di televisi, serta mendorong produksi konten yang lebih beragam dan inklusif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak mindful parenting terhadap regulasi emosi anak dalam pola asuh orang tua melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur (library research). Mindful parenting merupakan konsep pengasuhan yang menekankan kesadaran penuh (mindfulness) dalam interaksi orang tua dengan anak, melibatkan aspek penerimaan, perhatian, serta respons yang tidak reaktif terhadap emosi anak. Regulasi emosi anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh yang diterapkan dalam keluarga. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur, mindful parenting terbukti memiliki peran signifikan dalam membantu anak mengembangkan strategi regulasi emosi yang adaptif, seperti kemampuan mengenali, memahami, dan mengelola emosi secara lebih sehat. Selain itu, orang tua yang menerapkan mindful parenting cenderung lebih mampu merespons emosi anak dengan cara yang suportif dan empatik, sehingga membentuk lingkungan emosional yang aman bagi perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa penerapan mindful parenting dapat mengurangi tingkat stres orang tua serta meningkatkan kualitas hubungan antara orang tua dan anak. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa mindful parenting merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam membentuk regulasi emosi anak secara positif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi pendidikan, psikolog, dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan pola asuh yang lebih responsif dan berbasis kesadaran penuh.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas persepsi masyarakat terhadap seni patung modern dan nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber yang relevan, termasuk artikel, buku, dan penelitian sebelumnya mengenai seni patung modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat memiliki beragam persepsi terhadap seni patung modern, yang dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang budaya, pendidikan, dan pengalaman pribadi. Beberapa responden menganggap seni patung modern sebagai bentuk ekspresi kreatif yang mencerminkan dinamika sosial dan budaya masa kini, sementara yang lain melihatnya sebagai bentuk seni yang jauh dari nilai-nilai tradisional. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam seni patung modern, seperti kebebasan berekspresi, kritik sosial, dan refleksi identitas budaya. Melalui analisis ini, artikel ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih dalam mengenai hubungan antara seni patung modern dan nilai budaya, serta bagaimana masyarakat menginterpretasikan dan menghargai karya seni tersebut. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai seni dan budaya, serta memberikan wawasan bagi seniman dan pembuat kebijakan dalam pengembangan seni patung di masyarakat.

Abstract

Parenting stress is a common challenge experienced by parents of young children, often leading to negative emotional and behavioral consequences. Mindful parenting has emerged as an effective strategy to reduce parenting stress by fostering awareness, emotional regulation, and responsive interactions between parents and children. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review (library research) to explore the role of mindful parenting in alleviating stress among parents with young children. By analyzing existing theoretical frameworks and empirical findings, this research highlights how mindfulness-based practices enhance parental well-being and improve parent-child relationships. Key components of mindful parenting, such as present-moment awareness, nonjudgmental acceptance, self-compassion, and emotional responsiveness, are discussed in relation to their impact on stress reduction. Findings indicate that mindful parenting contributes to lower levels of stress, increased emotional resilience, and greater parental satisfaction. Furthermore, the literature suggests that mindfulness interventions, such as meditation, breathing exercises, and structured programs, can effectively enhance mindful parenting skills. This study underscores the importance of integrating mindful parenting practices into family life and parenting programs to promote healthier parent-child interactions. The results provide valuable insights for psychologists, educators, and policymakers in developing strategies to support parents in managing stress effectively. Future research should explore the practical application of mindful parenting in diverse family contexts to ensure broader applicability.
