Abstract

The development of digital technology requires Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) teachers to have qualified digital literacy in order to be able to integrate technology-based media, methods, and evaluations in learning. However, the readiness and ability of PJOK teachers in this aspect is still a challenge that needs to be further researched. This study aims to analyze the influence of PJOK teachers' digital literacy on learning outcomes, learning achievements, student empowerment, evaluation quality, and student motivation and involvement. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with 24 articles from reputable national and international journals (2020–2025) selected as the basis for the analysis. Data was analyzed through thematic synthesis to identify the pattern of influence of teachers' digital literacy on various aspects of learning. The results of the study show that PJOK teachers' digital literacy contributes positively to improving learning outcomes, competency achievement, and the quality of learning evaluation, and digital literacy also empowers students to be more independent, increase active participation, and foster intrinsic motivation in learning activities, the implications of this study are the need for sustainable teacher digital literacy training programs, support for educational infrastructure, and policies that are encouraging the integration of technology in PJOK learning in the digital era.

Abstract

Extracurricular sports activities in high school have a strategic role not only in supporting physical health, but also in shaping the character of discipline and improving students' academic achievement, although a number of previous studies have confirmed the benefits of extracurricular activities, the results are still varied mainly in explaining the role of discipline as a mediator. This study aims to analyze the influence of extracurricular sports on the discipline of high school students and its implications on academic achievement with discipline as a mediator variable. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining 23 articles published in 2020–2025 obtained from international databases and national journals. The results of the study show that extracurricular sports have a positive effect on student discipline which is reflected in regularity, self-regulation, motivation, happiness, and social solidarity. In addition, sports contribute to improving academic achievement both directly through concentration, physical health, time management, and learning motivation, and indirectly through discipline as a mediator. Discipline has proven to be an important variable that bridges sports involvement with student academic achievement.

Abstract

Physical education has an important role in the Indonesian education system, not only to improve physical fitness but also to build students' character and social skills, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in physical education brings challenges as well as opportunities. This research aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of implementing the Independent Curriculum in physical education and formulate strategic recommendations for its implementation. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by collecting data from various relevant literature, published between 2022 and 2025, the data analysis process is carried out using a thematic approach to identify gaps and patterns in the existing literature. The results of the study show that the biggest challenges in the implementation of the independent curriculum are teacher readiness, limited facilities, and less effective managerial management. However, great opportunities are also found in the development of game-based learning methods, the use of technology, and more innovative project-based approaches. This study suggests improving teacher training, strengthening physical education facilities, and managerial improvements at the school level to ensure that the implementation of the independent curriculum runs effectively and sustainably

Abstract

Regular sports activities play an important role in maintaining physical health while supporting students' cognitive function, especially concentration and academic achievement. However, the increasing sedentary lifestyle among students poses a risk of a decline in the quality of learning and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the influence of regular exercise on students' concentration and academic achievement. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a pre-test/post-test control group design involving 80 undergraduate program students who were divided into an experimental group (n=40) and a control group (n=40). The experimental group followed a regular exercise program (jogging, futsal, and aerobic gymnastics) three times per week for eight weeks, while the control group was given no treatment. Concentration is measured using the Stroop Test and the Digit Span Test, while academic achievement is measured through the Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA). Data analysis was performed using t-tests, ANOVA, and regression with SPSS. The results showed that regular exercise had a significant effect on increasing student concentration (p<0.01) and made a positive contribution to increasing GPA, although the effect was small to moderate. Concentration was shown to play a role as a partial mediator of the relationship between sport and academic achievement (R²=0.22). This research confirms that exercise not only maintains physical fitness, but also serves as a strategy to support learning in college. The practical implication is that universities need to integrate sports programs in the curriculum and students are encouraged to make sports a regular part of their academic lifestyle.
