Abstract

This study aims to improve students' conceptual understanding of Islamic religious education learning using the problem based learning model. This study uses a type of classroom action research. The design of this study uses the Kemmis & Mctaggart design with four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were obtained using test and observation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the problem based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning with the application of audio visual media. This can be seen in cycle I, the average percentage is 50% and in cycle II it is 86%. So it can be stated that student activity developed in cycle II. Improving student learning outcomes through the application of the problem based learning model on Friday prayer material in Elementary Schools was carried out for two cycles. Learning outcomes in cycle I were 66.67% and in cycle II they were 76.67%. So it can be stated that student learning outcomes improved better in cycle II. Based on this, the problem based learning model can be used as one of the media that can be considered by teachers to overcome the problem of low understanding of elementary school students' concepts, especially in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' interest in learning Islamic religious education by using the Sorting card method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the Sorting card method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 44.71%, the first cycle 65.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 87.66%. Thus, the use of the Sorting card method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using a cooperative model of the team group tournament type. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of special schools. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the cooperative model of the team group tournament type can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 40.71%, the first cycle 64.33% and in the second cycle it increased to 87.63%. Thus, the use of the cooperative model of the team group tournament type can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the STAD type cooperative model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 45.14%, the first cycle 63.31% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.67%. Thus, the use of the STAD type cooperative model can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the index card match method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 44.01%, the first cycle 62.42% and in the second cycle increased to 88.16%. Thus, the use of the index card match method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the takrir method can improve students' ability to memorize the Qur'an in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the drill method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 53.21%, the first cycle 68.31% and in the second cycle it increased to 94.63%. Thus, the use of the drill method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using problem based learning. This research data was obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The research results show that problem based learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness in each cycle with details of pre-cycle 41.19%, first cycle 75.37% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.72%. Thus, the use of problem based learning can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.
