Abstract

The purpose of this service is a sociopragmatic study to explore the use of language used by speakers. either in the form of advice or good advice from parents to children, from someone to colleagues, and so on. Then, it will also discuss writing errors related to foreign languages ​​for prestige value, but the goal is even less due to writing errors due to lack of understanding regarding writing in English. Another purpose is to increase the selling value of a product which indirectly reflects the social class of a society. The method used in data collection is the listening method, namely listening to the use of language to obtain lingual data (Sudaryanto, 1993:133). This method is described using several techniques, namely tapping techniques, observing and observing skillfully, observing freely, recording, and note-taking techniques. The result of this dedication is that the language will create diversity, which is influenced by various factors. One of them is that language users who are heterogeneous with different backgrounds will continuously be able to more or less influence the language used. The existence of social levels in society is enough to contribute to the variety of languages ​​that appear in the midst of society.

Abstract

Efforts to improve BTQ abilities of children aged 3 to 11 years using flash cards will improve children's ability to pronounce letters and know them well. This activity will be divided into 3 sessions: a) reading b) writing session, c) and playing using flash cards. Priority training and special assistance for children aged 3 years to 4 years at RCM Gunung Teletabis Housing Block D. No. 11 Batunadua Padangsidimpuan. Based on the results of the implementation of community service in improving children's abilities, this PKM has carried out coaching to Read and Write the Qur'an properly with the children at the RCM Gunung Teletabis Housing Block D. No. 11 Batunadua Padangsidimpuan. Has made a video documentation of Community Service. Through the use of Flash card learning media, children aged 3 years have known hijaiyah letters for ± 1 month. Children aged 4 to 11 years are more fluent in pronouncing hijaiyah letters. Documentation of activity implementation.

Abstract

Inovasi pembelajaran diharapkan dapat memberikan solusijuga pencegahan Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, kerjasama orang tua, guru dan pemerintah sangat dianjurkan demi mewujudkan pendidikan yang efektif dan efisien di tengahwabah penyakit yang melanda dunia saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kajian literatur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menelusuri berbagai sumber baik berupa dokumen pemerintah, media massa, dan hasil penelitian yang relevan sebelumnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan policy research dan didukung oleh hasil wawancara dengan beberapa siswa tingkat sekolah dasar. Analisis data menggunakan Content Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pemerintah dalam menanggulangi penyebaran virus corona (Covid-19) berdampak pada munculnya konsep-konsep baru berkaitan dengan inovasi pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan. Inovasi pembelajaran tersebut diantaranya Learning from Home: Kolaborasi antara sekolah dengan orang tua, pembelajaran sebagai peluang sekaligus tantangan, dan inovasi model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Harapannya, inovasi tersebut dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal dan dapat meningkatkan kerjasama antar orang tua, guru, dan pemerintah demi mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing secara global. Inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi diharapkan tidak hanya berlangsung dimasa pandemi Covid-19, namun dapat diterapkan setelah Covid-19 berakhir untuk pendidikan yang semakinmaju dan berkualitas.

Abstract

Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan Pengabdian Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan kemampuan: 1) Penerapan mengenai literasi numerasi dalam pembelajaran di Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan, 2) Penggunaan teknologi berbasis digital SD Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan, 3) Self efficacy resiliensi guru di SD Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan. Metode Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan secara blended learning meliputi kegiatan sinkron dengan zoom atau google meet dan asinkron melalui google form dan Whatsapp group dan juga tatap muka secara langsung sesuai situasi dan kondisi yang diatur dalam kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Untuk tahap akhir dilakukan proses review serta pemberian feedback yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Februari 2023. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dapat mengembangkan kemampuan penerapan mengenai literasi numerasi dalam pembelajaran di SD Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan, mengembangkan kemampuan penggunaan teknologi berbasis digital SD Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan, dan meningkatkan self efficacy resiliensi guru di SD Muhammadiyah Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Kondisi persaingan bisnis yang makin kompetitif dan lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis dan penuh ketidakpastian menuntut perusahaan untuk mencari terobosan baru dan mengimplementasikan strategi yang sesuai dan selaras dengan perubahan lingkungan bisnis. Perusahaan harus mampu menciptakan, mengeksploitasi, dan mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dengan cara menciptakan nilai–nilai daya saing perusahaan yang lebih baik dibandingkan para pesaing. Untuk mencapainya, perusahaan harus mampu menerapkan strategi dan nilai–nilai yang berbeda dan tidak dapat ditiru oleh pesaingnya. Salah satu strategi tersebut adalah melalui inovasi. Inovasi merupakan salah satu kunci untuk dapat memenangkan persaingan. Dengan melakukan inovasi, perusahaan berharap dapat menciptakan produk yang benar-benar baru atau lain dari yang sebelumnya atau membuat produk yang merupakan perbaikan dari produk yang telah ada sebelumnya. Dalam mengkonsumsi suatu produk, konsumen tidak hanya sebatas melihat pada nilai atau fungsi dari suatu produk yang dibutuhkan, tetapi konsumen juga memperhatikan apakah produk yang dipilih memiliki nilai tambah atau kelebihan dibandingkan dengan produk lain yang sejenis. Keinginan inilah yang harus dimengerti oleh produsen sebagai landasan untuk melakukan proses inovasi. Perkembangan inovasi yang berhasil akan menjadi strategi yang tepat untuk mempertahankan kedudukan produk di pasar.

Abstract

The poetry writing training in Paringgonan Village aims to improve the ability of the community to express feelings and ideas through poetry by using image media as a tool. Writing poetry is a form of creative expression that can explore individual potential, but in this village there are still limitations in poetry writing skills. Therefore, this training is applied with an image media-based method, which aims to stimulate the imagination of participants and help them in composing poetry. The training was carried out in several sessions by providing visual images that are relevant to a certain theme, then participants were asked to create poems based on the images. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the creativity of the participants, with most participants being able to write poems describing their personal emotions and stories. Overall, this training is effective in improving poetry writing skills and encouraging people to be more active in making art, especially poetry. This training also provides benefits in empowering the people of Paringgonan Village through increasing appreciation for literary arts.

Abstract

Productive speaking training is a community service activity that aims to improve public speaking skills in the community of Nauli Bulung, Paringgonan Village. This training was carried out with a persuasive communication theory approach which includes three main elements: ethos, pathos, and logos. This activity is designed to help the community in speaking confidently, organizing ideas clearly, and conveying messages persuasively. The methods used in the training include providing theoretical materials, speaking simulations, and feedback evaluations. The results of the training showed a significant increase in self-confidence, the ability to organize ideas, and the use of persuasive speaking techniques. Most of the participants felt more prepared to speak in public and were able to apply the speaking skills they had learned. This training makes a positive contribution to the development of communication skills of the Paringgonan Village community.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability to write poetry for 5th grade students of SD Ambarita, Samosir, through a picture media-based approach. The methods used include providing a basic understanding of poetry, image observation, poetry writing guidance, as well as presentations and discussions. From the training involving 30 students, the results of the evaluation showed that 85% of the students successfully understood the elements of poetry, 70% of the students were able to produce poems with good structure, and 90% of the students showed an increased interest in writing poetry. This activity also succeeded in creating an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. This training has a positive impact on students' creativity and literacy skills, so it is recommended to continue with more varied themes and approaches.

Abstract

This community service aims to train public speaking skills in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Simanindo. Public speaking skills are a very important ability to be developed from an early age, because they can improve students' confidence, communication skills, and social skills. This activity was carried out through a series of trainings and simulations involving theoretical and practical approaches, with a focus on speaking techniques, anxiety management, and how to convey ideas clearly and interestingly. The methods used are lectures, interactive discussions, and live exercises in the form of group presentations. The results of this activity showed a significant improvement in students' speaking skills, which was reflected in their confidence in speaking in front of the class and the positive response from participants to the material presented. It is hoped that this activity can be the basis for the development of students' communication skills in the future, as well as have a positive impact on improving students' academic and social achievements.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology requires educators to manage computer laboratories as a technology-based learning facility. However, educators in remote areas, such as Lengudi Island, face various challenges in managing these laboratories. This article discusses training aimed at enhancing educators' competencies in hardware, software, and local area network (LAN) management. The training was conducted through preparation, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Results indicated a 40% increase in participants' understanding based on pre-test and post-test scores and a 75% improvement in laboratory functionality. This article concludes that the training successfully enhanced educators' competencies and recommends further training to sustain the program.
